Met man en macht is een tragikomische reeks van Woestijnvis voor de Belgische zender VIER geschreven door Tom Lenaerts en Tom Van Dijck met onder anderen Jan Decleir, Peter Van Den Begin en Lucas Van den Eynde. Op 28 januari 2013 werd het voor het eerst uitgezonden op VIER. Het was het eerste (en voorlopig enige) programma op VIER dat niet door reclame werd onderbroken.

Het merendeel van de opnamen van Met man en macht gebeurde in het Oost-Vlaamse Temse. Het oud-gemeentehuis en het café Bij Rita (dat werkelijk bestaat), op de Markt, vormden voorname locaties voor het draaien van de fictiereeks. Naast nog enkele andere locaties in Temse, waren er ook opnamen in Hamme, Nieuwkerken-Waas, Rupelmonde, Bornem, Schaffen en Berendrecht.

Steve Mertens and Birgit Baukens, a non-stereotypical gay guy and a wannabe career woman, decide to share a house. To cover the rent, they take in three others: Birgit's ex-boyfriend Tom Derijcke, party animal Zoë Zonderland and wicked computer nerd Akke Impens. Complemented by their landlord's hyperactive daughter Jasmijn De Ridder, they soon form a crazy but close group of friends. Later on the series, they are joined by Carlo Stadeus, Akke's best friend, who is physically obsessed by Birgit. Finally, after a switch in house owners, the pedantic teenager Kim De Hert is the last one to force herself into the gang. As the series strolls towards it's conclusion, each of these characters seems to be facing a future they did not expect.

Tired of human intrest shows? These people are. "In de Gloria" looks like one of the shows where ordinary people are presented like freaks just to get a cheap laugh. The show doesn't mock the ordinary folks who appear in these shows, but the people who make them. "In de Gloria" is so painfully accurate you don't know if you want to laugh or cry. It's the kind of satire that shows you what the human race is really like.

Soil

Widower Omar Boulasmoum (65) runs a repatriation company. He arranges funeral insurances and repatriates Moroccans to their country of origin. Just before Omar leaves for Mecca, he donates the business to daughter Nadia and son Ishmael, known as Smile. In this way Omar hopes to get his 'prodigal son', who wants nothing to do with the company, on the right track. Omar has only just left when things go off the rails. Rachid and Nadia are dealing with a family who can't agree on where their deceased should be buried: here or in Morocco. It is ultimately Smile who, by chance, comes up with the idea that you can also bury people 'here' in earth from 'there'. A compromise à la Belge.

In this hard to imitate format, former sports reporter Mark Uytterhoeven, arguably Flanders' greatest comical TV talent, and a varying panel of celebrities make fun, in many different ways, by comments, parodies, doctored texts and images etc., of recent programs on Flemish national TV (both VRTs own and its commercial rivals), hence the title meaning "All can (be done) better". Nobody is spared: actors, presenters, reporters, politicians, script, camera-work, editing, even publicity; besides actual faults, they can be made the butt of a joke that sprouts from the panel's vicious imagination, e.g. quoting out of context or re-editing.

Zonde van de zendtijd

Zonde van de zendtijd was een wekelijks humorprogramma dat op maandagavond uitgezonden werd op de Vlaamse televisiezender Canvas en gepresenteerd werd door Henk Rijckaert en Bert Gabriëls.

De show combineerde sketches, parodieën en verborgencameragrappen waarmee ze zowel gewone als Bekende Vlamingen beetnamen. Aanvankelijk kreeg het eerste seizoen wisselende kritieken, maar het had wel goede kijkcijfers. Doordat zoveel fragmenten uit het programma op YouTube werden gepost kregen veel mensen die de oorspronkelijke uitzendingen gemist hadden ook de kans om de show te ontdekken. Gabriels en Rijckaert lieten zich door deze reacties leiden en inspireren voor het soort humor dat ze in hun tweede, succesrijkere seizoen zouden brengen.
