A look at the lives of Nico, Wendy, and Victory -- three of "New York's 50 Most Powerful Women," according to The New York Post.

Two sisters are at different stages in their respective relationships.

A girl, a guy, and their friends are twenty-somethings living in Chicago.

A young, smart and wise woman named Betty Suarez goes on a journey to find her inner beauty. The only problem is that it's hard for a slightly less attractive woman to find her beauty surrounded by tall skinny models at a fashion magazine but Betty doesn't let this stop her or her positive attitude towards her work.

Hope, a down-to-earth, happily married mom of three in Glen Falls, Ohio, had her tidy world up-ended by the arrival of her celebrity sister, Faith. Faith was living the high life in Hollywood as a daytime soap opera star until her soap's character, Ashley Storm, was suddenly and unceremoniously killed off on "The Sacred and the Sinful" by her evil twin. After a year under her roof wreaking occasional havoc, Hope can attest that you can kill the diva off on the daytime drama, but you can't take the drama out of the diva.

Fran Reeves, a frantic Jewish divorcée, fell madly in love with Riley Douglas Martin, a lovely, hunky contractor half her age, who moves in with her and her nasty ex Ted's two adolescent children, Joshua 'Josh', a timid med school drop-out, and Allison, a bitchy high-school girl. They all have a hard enough time finding out where they fit in this reconstituted, unofficial household, not an actual family, and things are even worse whenever outsiders wonder or ignore how it all works, given the shifted generations, Riley being barely older then his 'step-kids', actually an ideal big brother if only he were a sibling rather than the provider. Alliances and antagonisms shift, but ultimately true love triumphs and things work out.

"Therapist" Dr. Tom - who is constantly spouting famous and not so famous historical quotes - is Erica Strange's savior and worst enemy. Erica, a young adult woman, is having a bad life because of the bad decisions she's made. Erica provides Dr. Tom with a long list of those pivotal moments in her life that she feels have led to the bad state she is in today. Erica is initially unaware of what Dr. Tom is intending on doing with this list. What he does do is transport her back in time to each of those moments so that she, with all the knowledge of her present day life, can make better decisions to fix her life. Regardless of these new decisions, Dr. Tom hopes that Erica will come to the realization that although the opinions of others about her life do matter, it's what she thinks of her decisions and her life that are more important.

This prompts the frustrated and unconventional Deena to suggest to the more content Dave that they consider having an open marriage. Like all married people and their single friends, they can't wait for Brian to join their "club," though they're not exactly sure why.
