Akihisa Ikeda (池田晃久, born October 25, 1976) is a manga artist known for the manga Rosario + Vampire.

Ikeda was born in Miyazaki in 1976. His first work, Kiruto, debuted in 2002 in Monthly Shōnen Jump. It is described as a "four-volume magical warrior fantasy series". Rosario + Vampire debuted in Monthly Shōnen Jump in March 2004 and continued in Jump Square (Jump SQ) as Rosario+Vampire: Season II until its conclusion in 2014. Rosario has been adapted into a drama CD and anime series, as well as some video games. He has mentioned having the same editor since he was 16 until the beginning of volume 7 of Rosario. In the March 2014 issue, Ikeda concluded the Rosario series.

In July 2020, Ikeda serialized a new manga series "Ghost Reaper Girl" in Shonen Jump+ under the name of Akihisa Saike (紗池晃久, Saike Akihisa).

Yoshitoki Ōima (大今 良時, Ōima Yoshitoki, born March 15, 1989) is a Japanese manga artist and writer, best known for her manga series A Silent Voice and To Your Eternity.

Ōima was born on March 15, 1989 in Ōgaki, Japan as the third daughter of a sign language interpreter mother and has an older sister and an older brother. Due to her mother's work as a sign language interpreter Ōima was inspired to write the A Silent Voice manga series where she got help by her mother and her sister working on the series.

Her first manga was Mardock Scramble which was an adaptation of the same-named novel written by Tow Ubukata and was released in 2009. She was also responsible for an illustration of the ending sequence of the ninth episode of Attack on Titan. After her success with A Silent Voice Yoshitoki Ōima worked alongside other manga artists on a collaboration manga called Ore no 100-wame!!. In 2016 Yoshitoki Ōima released her third full manga series under the moniker To Your Eternity.

Nagaru Tanigawa is a Japanese author. He is a graduate of the law school at Kwansei Gakuin University. He is best known as the creator of the Haruhi Suzumiya series for which he won the grand prize at the eighth annual Sneaker Awards and has been adapted into an anime television series. While Tanigawa was on hiatus from writing his light novel series, he wrote the manga series Amnesia Labyrinth, which was serialized in Dengeki Bunko Magazine.

Dark Rose Valkyrie is a Japanese role-playing video game developed by Compile Heart and published by Idea Factory. The game contains key staff from Bandai Namco's Tales series of video games, including character designer Kosuke Fujishima, and scenario writer Takumi Miyajima. The game was released for PlayStation 4 in Japan in July 2016 and in North American and Europe in June 2017. A Windows version was released worldwide in April 2018.

Clamp is an all-female Japanese manga artist group, consisting of leader and writer Nanase Ohkawa, and three artists whose roles shift for each series: Mokona, Tsubaki Nekoi, and Satsuki Igarashi.

Shūzō Oshimi (押見 修造, Oshimi Shūzō, born 1981) is a Japanese manga artist who publishes works primarily for Kodansha. He made his debut with Superfly in Kodansha's Monthly Shōnen Magazine. He is best known for his manga Drifting Net Cafe, The Flowers of Evil and Happiness. His works have been adapted into many different media including television drama, anime, and live action film. In 2001, he won the Tetsuya Chiba Award.

Oshimi's hometown is in the countryside of Kiryu, Gunma, which also served as the setting of his manga The Flowers of Evil. While growing up there, the main places he would visit were the riverbank, the stairs of his junior high school, and the bookstore. Oshimi currently resides in Tokyo.

Inio Asano is a Japanese manga artist. Asano created the acclaimed manga series Solanin, which was released as a feature film in Japan in April 2010, starring Aoi Miyazaki. He is also famous for the series Goodnight Punpun and Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction.

Tsugumi Ohba is the pen name of a Japanese manga writer, best known for authoring the Death Note manga series with illustrator Takeshi Obata from 2003 to 2006, which has 30 million collected volumes in circulation. The duo's second series, Bakuman. (2008–2012), was also successful with 15 million in circulation. In 2014, Ohba collaborated with My Little Monster creator Robico for the one-shot "Skip! Yamada-kun". Another series with Obata, Platinum End, was serialized in the monthly Jump SQ from November 4, 2015, to January 4, 2021.

Adam Warren is an American comic book writer and artist who is most famous for his original graphic novel Empowered, an adaptation of the characters known as Dirty Pair into an American comic book, and being one of the first American commercial illustrators to be influenced by the general manga style. He has also contributed to several Gen¹³ comics, worked as writer and character designer for the Marvel Comics series Livewires, and done numerous freelance works. His current project is Empowered, which he has been working on continuously since 2007.

Isuna Hasekura is a Japanese author. In 2005, Hasekura won the Silver Prize in the twelfth Dengeki Novel Prize with his debut novel Spice and Wolf. The first volume was published the following year.

Yuyuko Takemiya is a Japanese writer of light novels, novels, and manga.

Nisio Isin (Japanese: 西尾 維新, Hepburn: Nishio Ishin, born 1981), stylized as NISIOISIN to emphasize the palindrome, is a pseudonymous Japanese novelist, manga author, and screenplay writer.

Nisio debuted in 2002 with the novel The Beheading Cycle (the first in his Zaregoto series), which earned him the 23rd Mephisto Prize at twenty years of age. In 2005, he began his long-running Monogatari novel series, which was published in 28 volumes as of 2021, and was later adapted as a highly-successful animated series of the same name, produced by Shaft. His Katanagatari novels, Medaka Box manga series, Jūni Taisen novel, and The Beheading Cycle have also been adapted as anime. He has also collaborated with Death Note writer Tsugumi Ohba and illustrator Takeshi Obata to write the light novel Death Note Another Note: The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases. Between 2009 and 2016, he ranked among the top 10 best-selling authors in Japan, ranking as the best-selling in 2012 and 2014. As of November 2022, his novels and manga had over 36 million copies in circulation.

Naoshi Arakawa (Japanese: 新川 直司, Hepburn: Arakawa Naoshi) is a Japanese manga artist, known for his work Your Lie in April.

Naoshi Arakawa grew up in the countryside of Japan with an older brother. They used to get manga magazines like Weekly Shōnen Jump and Monthly Shōnen Magazine often, so he was exposed to manga from a young age. That, along with his love for Fist of the North Star and Kinnikuman was what ultimately made him decide to become a manga author. However, he elected not to tell anyone due to the conservative nature of his hometown and his shy personality.

After getting advice from a friend at college, Naoshi Arakawa decided to enter for the Monthly Shōnen Magazine Grand Challenge. The one-shot he submitted would become the basis for Your Lie in April. Afterwards, he then worked as an assistant before making his serial debut with the manga adaptation of A School Frozen in Time. It ran in Monthly Shōnen Magazine from December 2007 to April 2009, and was published in four volumes. At the time, he was also working on a one-shot manga prototype, which would eventually become his second serial, Sayonara, Football. It ran in Magazine E-no from June 20, 2009 to August 20, 2010, and was published in two volumes.

Naoshi Komi is a Japanese manga artist. His works have debuted in Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine and its affiliates.

Natsuki Takaya is a Japanese manga artist best known for creating the series Fruits Basket.

Ken Akamatsu is a Japanese manga artist and politician who has served since 2022 as a member of the House of Councillors. He made his professional manga debut in 1993, and is best known as the author of Love Hina (1998–2001) and Negima! Magister Negi Magi (2003–2012), both serialized in Weekly Shōnen Magazine; a sequel to Negima!, UQ Holder!, was serialized from 2013 to 2022. In 2011, Akamatsu founded J-Comi, a free digital distributor of out-of-print manga.
