Aoi will never forget how she felt the day her high school animation club's labor of love was shown at the cultural festival. The sense of awe and the feeling of accomplishment that came with completing their very first project are exactly what encouraged Aoi and her club mates to enter the animation industry in the first place. But two years later Aoi has graduated, and now that she works as a production assistant for a big-name animation studio, the daunting reality of her job has somewhat diminished her enthusiasm. Despite the long hours and the punishing schedule, Aoi still hopes to fulfill the promise she and her club friends Ema, Shizuka, Misa, and Midori made: to one day reunite and make a real animated feature of their own as professionals.

The girl Kyoko Mogami lives alone in an apartment with her big love the childhood friend Sho Fuwa. He is a big music star and has many fans. One day he breaks up with her telling her she is a plain woman, and the only reason he stayed with her all this time was so she could wash his clothes and pay his rent. Kyoko swears to never love again and take revenge on Sho by entering showbusiness and becoming a much bigger star than him. Getting into showbusiness proves to be more challenging than she thought but on her way she meets curious and interesting people and a new life begins.

The Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture is not like ordinary student organizations found on a college campus. Rather than focus on a specific activity or hobby, the club encompasses tastes in anime, manga, video games, cosplay, and model building, and generally performs no organized activities outside of of gathering in their office to play video games or discuss the latest episode of the series Kujibiki Unbalance. Their membership includes a shy, stuttering sketch artist that lacks the drive to take his work further, an overzealous, motor-mouthed maniac that argues for the passion in all things otaku, and the club's creepily quiet founding president that has been in charge since 1987. What keeps a group with members as eccentric as these together? A shared love for anime, manga, and all forms of visual culture that they inspire.

Upon arriving in Japan, she got lost, and separated from her travel companion. Mitsuyoshi helps her and brings her to his grandfather's coffee shop.

In the 21st century, a family of vampires settled down on the grounds of Japan and lived a modest life whilst sucking on the blood of humans discreetly. However, the eldest daughter of the family, Karin Maaka, has an embarassing secret which cannot be revealed to anyone. Even though she is a vampire, she does not lack blood like her family members. Instead, she overproduces blood to the extent that she transfuses the excess into her victims, hence increasing their blood levels. Despite her troubling body characteristic, she attends school like any other high school student, that is until a new transfer student, Kenta Usui, enters her life.

Takatoshi Tsuda joins Ousai Academy, a co-ed high school that until recently had been an all-girl school, where he is asked to join the student council as vice-president and a male representative.

The "slapstick drama" begins with Seiya Kanie, a high school boy who is invited on a date in an amusement park by a mysterious beautiful transfer student named Isuzu Sento. He is introduced to Latifa, a "real" princess and the park's manager, and is asked to be the acting manager of this "disappointing amusement park in the Tokyo suburbs."

Kobeni has lived with her Mother and Sister, Benio, for most of her life. When she's 16, Hakuya, a tall, quiet boy, comes to stay with her and it's revealed that they're actually engaged. Kobeni comes to learn about a past injury while fighting her growing feelings for Hakuya and surviving her Sister's sister-complex.

Junichi "Jun" Hashiba is an uncool high school student who frets about wanting to lose his virginity. Egged on by his friends, Jun goes on his knees and confesses his love to a classmate named Yukana Yame. The confession surprisingly works and the couple goes out. However, Jun finds himself in uncharted waters with Yame, a trendy and fashion-conscious "gal" (gyaru).

A spin-off series based on The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya movie, set in the alternate world where Nagato is just a normal human girl.

"Midori No Hibi", also known as "Midori Days" is a story about a boy and a girl. Not a normal story, however, but one very entertaining story if anything. Seiji, who was known for his "Demon Right Hand" particularly named that for his keen sense of fighting skills and long streak of getting his way by clocking a guy in the face, woke up one morning to find his right hand was now a woman. A girl, rather, and one that loved him so much she had wished so hard to be close to him, she got her wish. Imagine what could transpire if you have a tiny woman for a hand, and you are in high school. That is Midori No Hibi.

Folks, meet Takashi Kamiyama. Enrolled at Cromartie High, where everybody is a delinquent, Kamiyama is apparently the only non-delinquent in the school. Logically, therefore, he must be the toughest in his class-by the rather twisted logic that only a really tough rabbit would lie down with lions. Thus begins a story that parodies every cliché of tough-guy anime that you've ever heard of, and some you haven't. Oh, and Freddie Mercury is in it, too.

Kaito Kirishima is testing out his new camera, when something comes crashing from the sky, injuring him. The next morning he wakes up fine though, believing it was a dream, however during the day he experiences flashes from what happened and also vaguely remembers someone grabbing his hand that night. A new girl at his school turns out to be her though he can't quite remember and in a strange twist she ends up living with him for the time being.
