Frances (Chloë Grace Moretz), a sweet, naïve young woman trying to make it on her own in New York City, doesn't think twice about returning the handbag she finds on the subway to its rightful owner. That owner Greta (Isabelle Huppert), an eccentric French piano teacher with a love for classical music and an aching loneliness. Having recently lost her mother, Frances quickly grows closer to widowed Greta. The two become fast friends - but Greta's maternal charm begin to dissolve and grow increasingly disturbing as Frances discovers that nothing in Greta's life is what it seems in this suspense thriller directed by Academy Award winner Neil Jordan.

In order to avoid a ghostly figure in the road, high school senior Brent Mitchell wraps his car around a tree, killing his father. Constantly confronted by his mother's emotional collapse after the accident, Brent escapes into a marijuana fueled world of loud metal music to block the pain and guilt. Dejected and out of sorts, he has a shot at happiness with his girlfriend Holly, a grounded, caring girl with drop dead good looks, a dream date for the high school prom. But his plans are thwarted by a disturbing series of events that take place under a mirrored disco ball, involving pink satin, glitter, syringes, nails, power drills and a secret admirer. Brent has become the prom king at a macabre, sadistic event where he is the entertainment.

This is the story of Carrie White, a lonely and painfully shy teenage girl with unbelievable telekinetic powers, and is slowly being pushed to the edge of insanity by frequent bullying from both cruel classmates at her school, and her own domineering, religious mother. One classmate, Sue Snell, feels sorry for Carrie and asks her boyfriend, Tommy Ross, to take Carrie to the senior prom instead of her. But another classmate, Chris Hargenson, is banned from the prom and is determined with her boyfriend to have her revenge on Carrie. Carrie soon discovers she has telekinetic powers; and when the most gruesome prank is played on her on prom night, anything can happen.

Harris just wants to hook up and have one night stands. All in good fun though, he finds his hook ups on a dating app. He spends his days working, playing video games, and swiping left and right for his next victim. All is well in the world of Harris until he swiped and matched with Riley. Unlike his other conquest riley won't go away so quietly like all the other girls. Slowly everything in Harris's life begins to fall apart.

Doug has several decisions to make. He is good enough at baseball to make the pros, but he needs a real education to have something to fall back on. He is studying sports medicine and Melissa, a spoiled rich girl who he happens to meet at a party, turns out to be the teaching assistant in a class he has to take. And she ends up tutoring him. And more. Doug and Melissa get a little too close and that could affect his relationship with Laura, an aspiring journalist who has been accepted to Stanford. That's a long way from wherever Doug's university is. Early in the movie, Doug almost did something very inappropriate with Laura in the college library. Later, Doug tries to make it work with Laura, but she is feeling ignored and there's a chance things might not work out. But Laura is quite reasonable in her concerns. Melissa won't accept that she can't have Doug and she turns into a stalker. In fact, her behavior turns very disturbing. Doug starts getting distracted and that could affect his future. Doug lost his father and his mother is still having a hard time getting over the loss. Melissa had a much more complicated relationship with her allegedly abusive parents. Is there something the viewer is not seeing? Or is the viewer seeing something that's just not there? Laura puts her investigative skills to work, but both she and Doug's mother may be in danger. And just when it appears the Melissa problem has been solved - surprise.

Best-selling novelist Paul Sheldon is on his way home from his Colorado hideaway after completing his latest book, when he crashes his car in a freak blizzard. Sue Snell, one of the girls that tormented Carrie, feels bad and asks her boyfriend Tommy Ross to invite Carrie to go with him to the prom to make up for what she did to Carrie. But Chris and her boyfriend Billy Nolan plot an evil prank with her friends to get back at Carrie.

He has become the star swimmer of his high school team, so much so that scouts from Stanford University are coming in a week's time to watch Ben swim. Ben has a new swim fan in Madison Bell, a recent transfer student to Ben's high school. Despite Ben making it clear that he is in a committed relationship, Madison seduces him, the seduction to which he succumbs. They agree afterward that their encounter was a one-time only event, but Ben slowly comes to the realization that despite Madison's assertions to the contrary, she has more in mind with him. He feels her constant unspoken threats to expose their tryst and ultimately when he rebuffs her totally, unspoken threats to ruin his life in whatever means possible. Ben quickly learns to what extremes Madison is willing to go, especially when he finds out about her past. He has to figure out how to regain his life back from his known stalker, which is aided by the reason Madison is in New Jersey in the first place.
