Yotsuba&!(Japanese:よつばと!, Hepburn:Yotsuba to!)is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kiyohiko Azuma, the creator ofAzumanga Daioh. It has been serialized since March 2003 in the monthly magazineDengeki Daiohby ASCII Media Works, formerly MediaWorks, and has since been collected in fourteentankōbonvolumes. It depicts the everyday adventures of a young girl named Yotsuba as she learns about the world around her, guided by her father, their neighbors, and their friends. Several characters inYotsuba&!were previously featured in a one-shot manga called "Try! Try! Try!" The phraseYotsuba tomeans "Yotsuba and," a fact reflected in the chapter titles, most of which take the form "Yotsuba and [something]."

Fire Emblem is a fantasy tactical role-playing game franchise developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo. First produced and published for the Famicom in 1990, the series currently consists of sixteen core entries and four spinoffs. Gameplay revolves around the tactical movement of characters across grid-based environments, while incorporating a story and characters similar to traditional role-playing video games.A notable aspect of gameplay is the permanent death of characters in battle, removing them from the rest of the game when they are defeated.
