Montero Lamar Hill (born April 9, 1999), known by his stage name Lil Nas X ( NAHZ), is an American rapper and singer. He rose to prominence with the release of his country rap single "Old Town Road", which first achieved viral popularity in early 2019 before climbing music charts internationally and becoming diamond certified by November of that same year, moving over ten million certified units in streaming and sales combined.

"Old Town Road" spent 19 weeks atop the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, becoming the longest-running number-one song since the chart debuted in 1958. Several remixes of the song were released, the most popular of which featured country singer Billy Ray Cyrus. As "Old Town Road" was atop the Hot 100, Lil Nas X came out as gay, becoming the only artist to do so while having a number-one record.

PrettyMuch (stylized in all caps) are an American-Canadian pop and R&B boy band based in Los Angeles, California. Formed by Simon Cowell in 2016, the band consists of Brandon Arreaga, Edwin Honoret, Austin Porter, Nick Mara, and Zion Kuwonu.

The members of PrettyMuch were pursuing solo careers until Syco Music founder Simon Cowell and former label president Sonny Takhar merged them into a group. Since 2016, the members of PrettyMuch have been based in Los Angeles where they have shared a home since March 18, 2016, in which they have worked on their dancing skills in addition to recording their debut EP.

In 2017, PrettyMuch gained attention on social media with their cover songs and dancing videos, including a rendition of Charlie Puth's "Attention" and choreography tributes to Michael Jackson and Bruno Mars. PrettyMuch's debut single, "Would You Mind," written by Savan Kotecha and Jacob Kasher, was released in July 2017. A month later, the group performed the song at the 2017 Teen Choice Awards and sang an a cappella version on the red carpet at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards. A music video for the song was then released in September. Directed by Emil Nava, it depicts the members dancing and jumping over each other in empty alleyways, along with scenes from a road trip the group had taken. The clip was inspired by boy band videos of the late 1990s and early 2000s, such as Backstreet Boys' "We've Got It Goin' On" and NSYNC's "I Want You Back". The single peaked in the top 40 on Billboard's Mainstream Top 40 charts.

Jessica Reyez (born June 12, 1991) is a Canadian singer and songwriter. Her 2016 single "Figures" peaked at number 58 on the Canadian Hot 100 in 2017 and was certified triple Platinum by Music Canada and Platinum by the RIAA. Her 2017 EP, Kiddo, led to four nominations at the 2018 Juno Awards, winning Breakthrough Artist. Her follow up EP, Being Human in Public, was released in 2018. It won R&B/Soul Recording of the Year at the 2019 Juno Awards and was nominated for Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 2020 Grammy Awards. Reyez again won the R&B/Soul Recording of the Year, for "Feel it Too" with Tory Lanez and Tainy, at the 2020 Juno Awards, where she was also nominated for Artist of the Year. Reyez has written songs for Calvin Harris, Kehlani, Dua Lipa and Normani, most notably penning the hit "One Kiss", and has collaborated with Eminem on multiple occasions. Her debut album, Before Love Came to Kill Us, was released on March 27, 2020, to widespread critical acclaim, and saw commercial success, entering at number thirteen on the US Billboard 200.

One Direction, often shortened to 1D, are an English-Irish pop boy band formed in London in 2010. The group is composed of Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and previously Zayn Malik until his departure from the group in March 2015. The group signed with Simon Cowell's record label Syco Records after forming and finishing third in the seventh series of the British televised singing competition The X Factor in 2010.

Digital Druglord is the third studio album by American singer blackbear. It was released on April 21, 2017, by Beartrap, Alamo Records, and Interscope Records, his first album under a major record label, follows after the release of his independent albums, Deadroses and Help, as well as his EP, Salt which was released two weeks prior.

Isaiah Faber, known professionally as Powfu, is a Canadian rapper, songwriter, and record producer. He is the son of Dave Faber from the band Faber Drive. He amassed popularity following the release of his first charting single, "Death Bed ", featuring Beabadoobee which peaked at number 23 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Omar LinX is a Mexican Canadian rapper, songwriter, musician and singer. He is known for writing and performing in a variety of genres, often through collaborations with electronic dance music (EDM) and hip-hop producers.

LinX co-wrote songs for Wake Up, which was released by Zeds Dead in February 2010. LinX has since collaborated on a number of songs with the group, including their first official single re-release, "Rudeboy", and "Out for Blood", which has been viewed more than five million times on YouTube. To All the Boys: Always and Forever is the soundtrack to the 2021 film To All the Boys: Always and Forever. It was released on February 12, 2021 by Capitol Records. The film, in its entirety featured over 45 songs: both original, incorporated, existing but previously unreleased tracks. Out of which, 16 tracks were compiled into the soundtrack album, with four original tracks produced for the film. The track "Beginning Middle End", was released as a single on February 10, prior to the soundtrack release.

The song was written by the artist himself with Lauren Larue, and produced by 94Skrt and Jae Green. It reached number one in New Zealand and peaked within the top ten in Australia, Norway, the UK, and the US. It reached the Top 40 in many other European and North American markets, including number four on the Billboard Hot 100. The success of the song sparked a bidding war among labels, and on November 15, 2019, it was reported that Zervas had signed with Columbia Records. A remix with American singer and rapper Swae Lee was released on February 21, 2020.

It was released on July 26, 2015, as the first single from Gnash's third extended play, Us (2016). The song peaked at number ten on the Billboard Hot 100. Outside of the United States, "I Hate U, I Love U" topped the charts in Australia, a first for both Gnash and O'Brien, and peaked within the top ten of the charts in Austria, Belgium, Finland, Norway, and the United Kingdom.

Harry Hudson is an American singer-songwriter of folk rock and pop music. His debut album, Yesterday's Tomorrow Night, was released on Jay-Z's Roc Nation record label in 2018. The single "Yellow Lights" went Top 10 on Spotify's US Viral chart, and Hudson was named one of Pandora’s Artist to Watch 2018 on the music streaming service. His second album, Hey, I'm Here For You, was released in November 2020.

Benjamin Joseph Levin (born March 8, 1988), known professionally as Benny Blanco (stylized in all lowercase), is an American record producer. He is the recipient of the 2013 Hal David Starlight Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He is also a five-time BMI Songwriter of the Year award winner and 2017 iHeartRadio Producer of the Year award winner.

Blanco was initially mentored by songwriter and producer Dr. Luke, who signed Blanco to his production company Kasz Money Productions. While under his tutelage, Blanco co-produced and co-wrote a multitude of hit singles in the late 2000s and thereafter. Blanco has contributed to the sale of over 500 million albums worldwide through his work with artists including Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Halsey, Katy Perry, Maroon 5, Kesha, Britney Spears, Rihanna, Sia, The Weeknd, Avicii, Selena Gomez, Adam Lambert, Charlie Puth, Keith Urban, Tory Lanez, Wiz Khalifa, J Balvin, and Juice Wrld. In July 2018, Blanco released his debut single as a lead artist, "Eastside" a collaboration with singer-songwriters Halsey and Khalid. The song peaked at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100, marking Blanco's first top ten song credited as an artist and his 27th top ten song as a writer, a sum that includes seven number ones. "It's You" is a song by Iraqi–Canadian singer and songwriter Ali Gatie, released as a single through Li$n and Warner Records on June 14, 2019. It debuted at number 97 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at number 70, becoming Gatie's first Hot 100 entry.

According to Gatie, "It's You" was written in 15 minutes. The song was written about his feelings for a girl. Speaking on the conception of the song, he said he was "just feeling the words in that moment and speaking from the heart". The night he wrote the song, he played it on his Instagram Live and people reacted positively to it, recording it and uploading the recording to YouTube. The song quickly gained huge popularity and Gatie attributes this popularity to the "big impact" the song had when it was officially released.
