STINGING BEAUTYTsukimi Kurashita has a strange fascination with jellyfish. She’s loved them from a young age and has carried that love with her to her new life in the big city of Tokyo. There, she resides in Amamizukan, a safe-haven for girl geeks who regularly gush over a range of things from trains to Japanese dolls. However, a chance meeting at a pet shop has Tsukimi crossing paths with one of the things that the residents of Amamizukan have been desperately trying to avoid—a beautiful and fashionable woman! But there’s much more to this woman than her trendy clothes! This odd encounter is only the beginning of a new and unexpected path for Tsukimi and her friends.

فکر میکردم داستان تموم میشه ولی ظاهرا بازم ادامه داره! ولی خیلی خوب بود خیلی! حیف که برای معلوم شدن نتیجه‌ی رقابتش با آکامه بر سر جایگاه نخست باید تا انتهای داستان صبر کنم و این یعنی حداقل یه سال دیگه

En este tomo podemos darnos cuenta de lo abrumada que se encuentra Phos por todo lo que no sabe y por lo que irá descubriendo.Así que el primer paso para armarse de valor y conseguir respuestas es pedirle su opinión a Padparadscha, este personaje tiene una condición muy particular que le impide estar consiente, por lo que Rutile se ha dado la ardua tarea de encontrarle una solución y de que pueda volver a convivir con el resto de las gemas, algo que le ha resultado imposible ...hasta ahora, por lo que aprovechando la suerte de que vuelve a estar consciente, Phos decide arriesgarse y preguntarle si lo que está planeando está bien.Me parece algo curioso que precisamente decida preguntarle a Padparadscha y no a alguna de las demás gemas, posiblemente por lo perspicaz que le ha parecido, así que una vez resuelta sus dudas y con un consejo valioso, decide emprender el camino en busca de la verdad; pero para eso tiene que capturar a alguno de los Lunarians, una tarea realmente complicada.Es aquí donde entra en escena otro personaje nuevo, Ghost, quien actualmente se encuentra encargada de la biblioteca y que después de convivir un poco con Phos empieza a sentir una enorme simpatía por ella, por lo que decide ayudarla en lo que necesite.Sin embargo se presenta una situación inusual que requiere que varias gemas trabajen en equipo para solucionarlo, a lo que Phos ve una oportunidad para vigilar más de cerca a Kongou Sensei, siendo que al final al complicarse todo un poco, provoca que su intervención sea de manera anticipada y descuidada, dándose a revelar ante Phos algo inesperado y alarmante, algo tan importante que Kongou Sensei le pide guardar el secreto.Y por si no fuera suficiente, se siente terrible por dejar a un lado a las demás y no esforzarse en ayudarlas, todo por estar en busca de respuestas, lo que provoca que se la pase pensando constantemente en lo que está sucediendo, lo que ha ido descubriendo y de que no tiene con quien compartir esto. Dándose cuenta de que podría necesitar la ayuda de alguien.Y en quien piensa es en Cinnabar, así que le propone el trabajo de ayudarla en su búsqueda de respuestas, pero no era lo que ella tenía en mente cuando le ofreció encontrarle un trabajo diferente a la patrulla nocturna.Así que mientras Cinnabar decide qué hacer, Phos continúa ensimismada en sus pensamientos, tanto que se vuelve descuidada, lo que provoca que cometa un error garrafal que la pone en una situación terrible, dejándonos con un cliffhanger sumamente bueno.De igual manera nos encontramos con situaciones divertidas y de cómo van conviviendo las demás gemas, algo que resulta interesante y que nos da la oportunidad de conocer un poco más a los diferentes personajes de la historia.Sin duda tengo muchas ganas de leer el siguiente tomo, puesto que a partir de este ya se nota la diferencia con respecto al anime y de que de ahora en adelante todo será completamente nuevo.Como siempre, sumamente recomendable.

هوراکو ایچیگاوا بهت التماس میکنم بذار تا آخرش کتابت فوق العاده بمونه.این مجموعه‌ی بسیار قوی تا قبل از جلد هشت جزو تاپ تن مانگای من بود ولی بعد از این قسمت در ومال تعجب اتفاقی افتاد که فکر نمیکردم هرگز دیگه تکرار بشه! تونستم یه داستانی پیدا کنم که به تاپ 3 اضافه بشه!! این مانگا الان تو ذهن من رقیب سرسختی برای آکامه شده و فقط جلد آخر مشخص میکنه میتونه بعد از چند سال طلسمو بشکنه و جای آکامه رو بگیره یا خیر...

About some 'allies' just wanting to claim higher moral ground and not actually trying to understand us.But it's also about standing up for yourself and your community. About saying 'that's enough.' На смену оглушающей тишине прошлого тома приходит какофония ежедневных забот. Все просыпаются, и неожиданно по истечении трагической зимы бывший аутсайдер и мисс бесполезность №1 становится самым интересным предметом для обсуждения и изучения. На фоне этой бурной деятельности особенно заметно, что двигается она, кажется, чисто на автомате. Она вроде как приобрела то, чего так страстно желала, но в процессе лишилась гораздо большего.(знаю, что у самоцветов нет гендерного разделения, они же просто КАМНИ, но я ничего не могу с собой поделать - они все для меня девицы :с Я чуть не подавилась, когда кое-кто крайне брутальный в пылу отчаяния закричал nii-chan в отношении своей партнерши, такой нежной девочки-припевочки. WTF :с)Все предыдущие события крутились вокруг Фос, и в основном описывали изменения внутри одного конкретно взятого героя, но четвертый том ответил на невысказанный вопрос о привязанностях и взаимоотношениях персонажей, что уже не одну сотню лет сосуществуют вместе. Не ожидала встретить такую короткую, нежную и душераздирающую сцену воссоединения :с I’m glad we broke up.hisashiburi

I can't explain how HOOKED this volume had me. Yashiro and Kou are trapped in a perfect world that is a fantasy made by one of the 7 wonders and it's just so crazy how they have to escape. This was a really great volume to read. :)

Here with the answers is Skull-face Bookseller Honda-san, which takes a look at what it means to work in a bookshop in Japan!The story follows Honda-san, a skeletal bookseller who’s in charge of foreign comics and art books in the bookstore he works at. Alongside his co-workers Honda-san does his best to meet the varied and sometimes weird requests of the shop’s customers as he juggles his everyday tasks in this workplace comedy.It’s not just the customers Honda-san has to help, as he also has to reject pushy sales people who are trying to get their books promoted! Naturally no bookstore has the space to promote every new book in a given week, but despite this, the publishers try their hardest to get stores to advertise their wares – and Honda-san has a difficult time saying no…Some of you may already be familiar with Skull-face Bookseller Honda-san thanks to the anime that aired last year. The series took the internet by storm when Honda-san encountered a father on the hunt for a ‘special yaoi book’ for his daughter in one of the early episodes. For a book lover like me it was an unforgettable story, and I’m so glad that the manga has now reached our shores. Like the anime, the manga goes in-depth on what it means to work in a bookstore. It’s full of interesting information I never knew before, but it’s not just informative. It’s also great fun! The characters we meet throughout this first volume are varied, from yaoi fans to shonen collectors and those who’ve come from overseas. Both the cast themselves and their interactions with Honda-san are all very unique and a real joy to flip through.This manga is based on mangaka Honda’s real life experiences working as a bookseller, which gives the series a very genuine feeling. Although Skull-face Bookseller Honda-san would have undoubtedly been a fun read without this ‘inside knowledge’, it’s hard to deny that the wacky antics are easier to buy into when you know they’re true to life.If you’re even remotely a fan of books (not necessarily manga, but that helps!) then you’ll have a great time reading the series. No doubt if you work in retail yourself you’ll also get a kick out of the interactions Honda-san shares with his coworkers, who all have problems of their own in their various store sections. Speaking of Honda-san’s coworkers I feel it’s worth mentioning that they’re all given fantastical designs like Honda-san. Each individual has a unique mask or piece of headgear that they’re identified by. For example: Fox-san and Lantern-san, named after the fox mask and lantern helmet the two sport. It’s a fun idea and adds a lot to the comedy element of the series.Where artwork is concerned, this first volume looks fantastic. If you’ve watched the anime then you’ll already know what to expect, as it’s very true to the manga. For those of you who haven’t seen the anime, the artwork for Skull-face Bookseller Honda-san is very detailed, expressive and fun. There’s a lot going on from panel to panel but, with clear and distinct outlines for the cast, it’s easy to follow what’s happening on the page and distinguish what’s important from any given scene. The series’ humour relies on the visuals and the mangaka does a fine job of making sure every joke lands perfectly. The only downside for some readers is that there are a lot of references to manga and anime made throughout this volume, and some of the jokes don’t quite work if you don’t get them. This volume includes lots of translation notes at the back of the book to try and help you through, but I’m sure it could become annoying to go back and forth for them if you aren’t getting any of the references. Skull-face Bookseller Honda-san comes West thanks to Yen Press. The series has finished in Japan at just four volumes and Yen Press currently have Volume 2 scheduled for an October release, with Volume 3 in January 2020. Volume 1 has been translated by Amanda Haley and the translation reads well. I think praise is especially deserved for how well Haley manages to convey scenes where Honda-san is dealing with English customers and speaking in broken, stuttered speech. It does a great job of both showing that Honda’s out of his comfort zone and that he’s struggling to communicate. Overall, Skull-face Bookseller Honda-san is a real treat for book lovers. If you’re an existing fan thanks to the anime then the manga is well worth jumping into, but newcomers will also greatly enjoy their first steps into Honda-san’s world. I’m certainly looking forward to Volume 2!

Uuuuuhhh... saya merasa kena karma banget semenjak dua jilid terakhir :"( Soalnya dulu saya pernah bilang kalau saya gak suka hubungan AoiAoi, eeehhh... sekarang jadi sampai menitikkan air mata pas baca tentang hubungan mereka :"(Penasaran sama jilid berikutnya huwehuwehuewwww!!OH OH OH!!Saya baru inget kalau di jilid ini kita dikasih lihat (lagi) betapa kuatnya Kak Teru sebagai pembasmi arwah!! Luar biasaaaaaa!! Kak Teruuuuu~~!! Saya gak nyangka dia sehebat itu lho! Sampai bisa masuk ke dunia perbatasan yang tinggal selangkah lagi ke dunia kematian! Padahal semakin dekat dengan dunia kematian, mestinya manusia semakin sulit masuk! Tapi Kak Teru bisa jemput Akane sampai ke sana (meski ngakunya dia muter-muter dulu), dan bisa ngelindungin duo AoiAoi selama di dunia perbatasan yang berbahaya itu!Kak Teru ternyata lebih keren dibanding yang diperlihatkan selama ini!! (Yaaah... masalahnya, kepribadiannya itu agak-agak eeermm... BERMASALAH XD)

یه چیز عجیب درباره مانگاهایی ک بیش از ۵ جلد ادامه پیدا میکنن اینه که همشون لوس و سناریو تکراری میشهاما این کتاب هم با اینکه خیلی اوقات این حس میشه خصوصا تو این قسمت که باز فوس پیوند میخوره! ولی نویسنده خیلی شیک و باکلاس آخر داستان مثه ماهی از این تله هم بیرون میجهه! با اشتیاق پیش به سوی جلد ۸
