Phantasy is a British independent record label established in London, England, and founded in 2007 by the DJ and producer, Erol Alkan. Its current roster includes Connan Mockasin, Daniel Avery, James Welsh, Ghost Culture, Babe, Terror, U, Future Four, Cowboy Rhythmbox and Alkan himself, while the label has previously released material from Late Of The Pier, Chilly Gonzales, LA Priest, Boys Noize & Erol Alkan, Babe, Terror, Primary 1, Fan Death, Paul Chambers, Dance Area, Riton & Primary 1, Boris Dlugosch, Tom Rowlands, Future Four, In Flagranti, and Nadia Ksaiba.

Hendrik Weber, better known as Pantha du Prince, Panthel, and Glühen 4 is a German producer, composer and conceptual artist for electro, techno, house, minimal, and noise, affiliated with Dial Records, and Rough Trade Records.

Steven Ellison (born October 7, 1983), known by his stage name Flying Lotus or sometimes FlyLo, is an American record producer, DJ and rapper from Los Angeles. He is also the founder of the record label Brainfeeder.

Flying Lotus has released seven studio albums‍—‌1983 (2006), Los Angeles (2008), Cosmogramma (2010), Until the Quiet Comes (2012), You're Dead! (2014), Flamagra (2019) and Yasuke (2021)‍—‌to critical acclaim. He has produced much of the bumper music on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim programming block. He also contributed remixes for fellow Plug Research artists including Mia Doi Todd.

In 2012, Flying Lotus began rapping under the persona Captain Murphy, based on the Sealab 2021 character of the same name. Ellison kept this fact a secret for several months, finally revealing his identity several weeks after the release of his first rap mixtape: Duality (2012).

Oriol Riverola better known by stage name John Talabot (born 8 January 1982), is a Catalan DJ from Barcelona, Spain, record label owner, producer and electronic musician.

After initially producing tracks under the name d.a.r.y.l, Riverola began releasing music as John Talabot in 2009 (a name taken from the school he attended in Barcelona). His 2010 release "Sunshine" was followed by his debut EP, Families in 2011 on the Young Turks label.

Talabot released his debut album ƒIN in January 2012 on Permanent Vacation. The record was generally well received with critics, receiving a 5 star review from The Guardian.

Despite not releasing a solo album since ƒIN, Talabot has released music consistently including remixes of artists from The XX to Sfire to Shit Robot. In social media posts Talabot has hinted that work is ongoing for his second LP.

Darkside is an American band based in New York City. The band was formed in Providence, Rhode Island in 2011 by electronic musician Nicolás Jaar and multi-instrumentalist Dave Harrington, both of whom were students at Brown University at the time. Their debut studio album, Psychic, was released in 2013 and was followed up by Spiral, released in 2021 after a hiatus.

Moderat is a German electronic music supergroup originating in Berlin between Sascha Ring, also known as Apparat, and Modeselektor members Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary. The band have released four studio albums to date, their most recent being More D4ta, released on May 13, 2022. The group was voted "The #1 Live Act of the Year" in 2009 by the readers of Resident Advisor.

Boiler Room was a nu metal band who formed in 1996. The band, featuring vocalist Chris Lino, guitarist Rob Caggiano, bassist James Meselsohn, and drummer Mike Meselsohn toured through their local club scene for several years, building up their material and performance skills. The band broke through on local radio following an opening slot for Orgy in 1999. Original guitarist Joey Barracato played on their first self-titled 1996 CD and played the first couple years of gigs, opening for bands such as Type O Negative, Life of Agony, and Korn.

The next year Boiler Room signed to Roadrunner Records, which was slated to release their debut album, "Can't Breathe", for the summer of 2000. The record, however, failed to come out after several delays, and Boiler Room signed with Tommy Boy Records. "Can't Breathe" was finally issued in November of the same year, only for Tommy Boy to drop the band once their short term contract expired. With no label, Boiler Room broke up in the summer of 2001, with only that single release to their credit. The song "Do It Again" did however appear on an MTV compilation disc titled Return Of The Rock that was released on June 13, 2000.

Floating Point is an album by John McLaughlin, released in 2008 through the record label Abstract Logix. The album reached number fourteen on Billboard's Top Jazz Albums chart.

Jai Paul is an English songwriter, record producer and recording artist. His early demo "BTSTU" led to his online discovery and a subsequent recording contract with XL Recordings. Together with its follow-up "Jasmine", these songs have been regarded as influential on underground as well as mainstream pop music in the 2010s. A demo album consisting of songs for his aborted debut album Bait Ones was leaked in 2013 and unofficially uploaded by an unknown source to the surprise and acclaim of critics, leading to Paul taking an extended hiatus from music. Paul returned in 2019 with the official release of his leaked album and a new double single entitled "Do You Love Her Now / He".

David Douglas School District No. 40 is a school district in eastern Portland, Oregon, United States. Its administrative offices are at 11300 NE Halsey St. Portland, OR 97220.

The district was formed in 1959 as a consolidation of the Gilbert, Powellhurst, and Russellville elementary school districts and the David Douglas Union High School District. As of 2012, it operates nine elementary schools, three middle schools and one high school with an alternative school campus. It serves more than 10,330 students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

The district and High School are named after famed Scottish botanist David Douglas, for whom the Douglas Fir tree is named after as well.

Vondelpark were an English indie pop group, formed in 2010 in London, England. The band consists of Lewis Rainsbury, Alex Bailey and Matt Lawrenson. The band is named after the public park of the same name.

Hendrik Weber (born 1975), better known as Pantha du Prince, Panthel and Glühen 4 is a German producer, composer and conceptual artist for Electro, Techno, House, Minimal and Noise affiliated with Hamburg's Dial music label and British label Rough Trade.

He was born in Bad Wildungen.

Weber's style as Pantha du Prince evolved from the harder end of the house music spectrum and minimal techno to something the artist himself describes as 'Sonic House', incorporating acoustic elements, electronically altered field recordings, and shoegazing references. He launched his Pantha du Prince identity in 2002, with the four-track 12" "Nowhere". His first full-length CD/double LP, Diamond Daze (2004), featured hard-edged club songs, with Weber sampling The Chills’ "Pink Frost" on the track "Circle Glider". Writing for allmusic, Jason Birchmeier also detected an affinity for shoegaze bands such as My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive as well as for the stylings of Detroit Techno producer Carl Craig. Weber's 2005 remix 12" "Butterfly Girl Versions" and the 2006 "Lichten/Walden" 12" were again published on the German Dial label. In 2007, Weber released This Bliss in which he explored travel, time, and the joy of forward motion. Commenting on the album's juxtaposition of ethereal melodic elements and a dance music backbone, Tim Finney gave it 7.7 out of 10 in a review for Pitchfork. The New York Times critic Jon Caramanica described This Bliss as Pantha du Prince's "high-water mark", "a pensive, slender and tough album". In 2010, Weber switched labels to Rough Trade Records before releasing his third album Black Noise. Here, Weber sought to "incorporate a wide range of sounds - field recordings, atonal noise, and stray percussion" - as part of a "period of musical exploration in the Swiss Alps." While some saw its tracks as a more compartmentalized treatment of moods and textures, as opposed to This Bliss' totalizing experience, it retained Weber's "gift for generating heavily melodic mazes of sound." Featuring Animal Collective's Noah Lennox and LCD Soundsystem's Tyler Pope as guest artists, and following the aforementioned label change, "Black Noise" was met with more excitement than Weber's previous work. Pantha du Prince and The Bell Laboratory released their collaborative album ‘Elements of Light’ on January 14, 2013. The ambitious project is a symphony for electronics, percussion and bell carillon, a three-tonne instrument comprising 50 bronze bells. When asked if there was anything he wanted listeners to take away from 'Elements of Light,' Weber said, "It was intended to be listened to in one piece — no single tracks, but one musical development — and I'd like it myself to be received that way, more like a DJ mix." Due to his integral approach, he manages to unite different areas of cultural production such as popular music, performance and fine arts to one artform. His installations coalesce sounds, architecture and objects into a transcendental space.

Terje Olsen (born 1981), known professionally as Todd Terje, is a Norwegian DJ, songwriter, and record producer. His stage name is a homage to house music producer Todd Terry.

Called "King of the summer jams" by Mixmag, "one third of the Holy Trinity of Norwegian disco" by Spin magazine, and "one of [the Scandinavian dance scene's] prominent figures" by AllMusic, Todd Terje made his name with a string of remixes and re-edits in the mid 2000s. He is the younger brother of Olaf Olsen, who often performs drums for Terje's live shows.

He was one of the headliners at the prestigious Sónar festival in Barcelona, playing alongside frequent collaborator Lindstrøm. He was listed at #17 in the Rolling Stone magazine list of "The 25 DJs That Rule the Earth". In July 2013 he recorded a mix for BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix series. He is best known for his 2012 house track "Inspector Norse". The song Alfonso Muskedunder was featured in an episode of the third season of the television series Better Call Saul on AMC. The introduction to "It's Album Time" is regularly referenced in a feature in Radio 1 DJ, Huw Stephens' late night show.

Ultraísta is an English-American experimental rock trio, formed in 2008. The band consists of Atoms for Peace members Nigel Godrich and Joey Waronker, alongside Laura Bettinson. The band's self-titled debut album was released on 2 October 2012. The band's biography notes that it was "conceived from a love of afrobeat, electronica, art and inspired by tequila".

Initially a collaboration between Nigel Godrich and Joey Waronker, Ultraísta became a three-piece with the addition of Laura Bettinson in 2010. The band's name is taken from the Spanish literary movement ultraism.

The band released their first album in 2012, followed by a remix album. In 2019, the band announced via social media that it would be returning, releasing a deluxe edition of their self-titled debut on 22 November.

Blanck Mass is a British electronic solo project by Ivor Novello Award-winning composer Benjamin J Power

He's one of the founding members of drone band Fuck Buttons.

In 2022 Power announced he joined Editors as a full-time member.

His track "Sundowner" was used at key points during the Opening Ceremony of the 2012 Olympic games. It was first heard as the Union Flag was brought into the stadium by members of the Armed Forces. Later it was played when the Olympic Flag was paraded, and finally as the Olympic Flame was brought to the stadium in a speedboat.

Blanck Mass opened for Icelandic band Sigur Rós on their 2013 UK tour.

In 2014, Power announced that he was close to finishing off a new Blanck Mass album, and supported Jon Hopkins at the Royal Festival Hall in September.

James Thomas Smith (born 28 October 1988), known professionally as Jamie xx, is an English musician, DJ, record producer and remixer. He is known for both his solo work and as a member of the English indie pop band The xx.

He has been described as a "driving force" behind The xx, contributing to the group's significant commercial and critical success. As a solo artist, he has been recognised with a 2015 Mercury Prize nomination, and a 2016 Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album nomination for his sophmore album In Colour.

Smith's musical career began in 2005 when he joined The xx accompanying old schoolmates Romy Madley Croft, Oliver Sim and Baria Qureshi of the Elliott School in London, notable for alumni including Hot Chip, Burial and Four Tet. He first used the stage name Jamie xx in July 2009 in a promotional mix for the band's debut album xx released on the FACT magazine mix series. The mixtape was compiled by Jamie Smith and featured, amongst others, four tracks credited to Jamie xx – one self-production and three remixes. The xx album went on to become platinum in the UK. Afterward, Jamie Smith went on to do more remix work for artists like Florence + The Machine, Adele, Jack Peñate and Glasser.

Letherette is an electronic music production duo, consisting of Richard Roberts and Andrew Harber. They released their debut album Letherette through their current label Ninja Tune in 2013, and have previously released material on Ho Tep Records.

Friends from childhood, they grew up together in Wolverhampton, UK, where they are still based. The name of the act was originally the name of an old track by Andy, which the pair thought suited their music. They first came to note when they remixed Bibio's 'Lover's Carvings' for his album The Apple and the Tooth, released on Warp in 2009. Subsequently, they released two EPs on Eglo Records subsidiary Ho Tep. The pair provided a mixtape for BTS radio in 2010 which showcased some of their influences alongside a number of their own tracks. It became one of the most talked about and downloaded guest mixes of BTS radio that year. In 2012, they contributed a remix to the vinyl version of Bonobo's Black Sands Remixed album, and in the same year were signed by Ninja Tune Records. Their music has been played on BBC Radio 1 by Benji B and BBC Radio 6 Music by Lauren Laverne and Tom Ravenscroft.
