Steven and Elyse Keaton, once 1960s radicals, now find themselves in Reagan-era America trying to raise a traditional suburban family. Their three first kids are Alex (a very ambitious Young Republican), Mallory (a ditzy and boy-crazy fashionista), and Jennifer (whom we first get to know as a precocious nine-year-old tomboy). Later on, a fourth child (Andrew) was added to the family. Most of the comedy arose from the conflict between the ex-hippie parents vs. the conservative Alex and the brainless beauty Mallory.

A father trying to provide for his family with a job he hates, a mother trying to be the wife and parent that society demands her to be, a teen full of angst with a love for rock-n-roll, a kid who is cursed with "middle child syndrome" who just wants to have fun, and a little girl who is far from "girly" but is still the apple of her father's eye all make for the perfect recipe of 1970's America. Back to a time when tobacco was healthy, a kid's curfew was when the street lights went out, mom stayed at home, and sex, drugs, & rock-n-roll made the world go 'round. Watch how the typical, middle class American family held it together.

The five main characters are Abe Lincoln, an all around nice but naive guy who lusts after the school sexpot Cleopatra, who is dating the macho JFK. Also, Abe's two best friends are Joan of Arc, an angst ridden goth girl who is in love with him, and Gandhi, a none-stop party animal. Clone High bravely tackles challenging teen issues, such as sleep deprivation, catching ADD from toilet seats, the evils of litter, and having the guy you like not like you back the same way you like him. Will Abe get together with Cleo, or be thwarted by the handsome JFK? Will Joan finally get Abe to notice her? Who's to say?

American adult animated television series

After starring in the popular sitcom "Horsin' Around" in the late 80s and early 90s, BoJack Horseman struggles with his deteriorating popularity, depression, addiction, and maintaining the relationships with those he cares about, but can't seem to stop hurting, all while living in the satirical, pun-filled city of Hollywood, California.

Orel Puppington is an optimistic, well-intentioned, and devoutly religious 11-year-old whose Christian devotion, enthusiastic church attendance, and general naiveté leads him to grossly misinterpret Bible lessons, often with morbid and ghastly consequences. In doing so, he unintentionally exposes the hypocrisy and duplicity of his family (particularly his father Clay), the members of his community, and ultimately, organized religion itself. Set in the fictional American state of Statesoda, which is located in the middle of the lower 48 states, "Moral Orel" has a stop-motion animation style similar to "Davey & Goliath", and appears to parody the religious undertones of the latter show. However, creator Dino Stamatopoulos intended for the show to be more of a parody of whole 1950's sitcoms such as "Leave It To Beaver" and "Father Knows Best".

"The Kids in the Hall" are a sketch comedy troupe, set apart by their cross-dressing antics and seemingly infinite supply of unique characters. Although writer Paul Bellini, various extras, and sometimes even an actual woman appear in the sketches, for the most part, the five main cast members portray every single character themselves. Recurring characters range from the harried corporate executive Danny Husk to Queen Elizabeth, from alienated teen rocker Bobby Tarrance to gay bar owner Buddy Cole, from occult TV show host Simon and his sidekick Hecubus to the gossiping corporate secretaries Cathy and Kathy, and an endless parade of others.
