Everyone knows that most hospitals are boring, but this isn't the case. This hospital is calming but exciting. Why is this hospital exciting, you may ask. Well, it's because of 5 doctors who make the boring hospital halls into colorful mall-like halls! They've been friends ever since they were in med school, but thanks to their occupations as doctors, they're closer than ever! The friends decide to create a band, but this is a bit of a problem because the lead singer has little experience when it comes to singing. When she sings, she sounds like a dying goat! But even with her terrible singing, her friends still love her and they think that the band will work out!

Misaki Takahasi is the 18-year-old (19 in episode 8 of Junjo Romantica) little brother of Takahiro. At the start of the series, Misaki is about to sit for his college entrance examinations. His dream is to go to Mitsuhashi University since that was the college his brother turned down so that he could begin taking care of Misaki after their parents died. Although seemingly childish and brash, Misaki is later revealed to be a person who is simply adamant on insisting against doing anything that might be troublesome for anyone else. This is due to the fact that he still blames himself for his parents' death (believing that if he had not asked them to hurry home, they would not have sped in the rain and crashed). Misaki and Usami eventually begin a relationship together which puzzles Misaki, who is not outwardly confident about his feelings towards the older man because of his narrow view of a typical relationship. The girl Kyoko Mogami lives alone in an apartment with her big love the childhood friend Sho Fuwa. He is a big music star and has many fans. One day he breaks up with her telling her she is a plain woman, and the only reason he stayed with her all this time was so she could wash his clothes and pay his rent. Kyoko swears to never love again and take revenge on Sho by entering showbusiness and becoming a much bigger star than him. Getting into showbusiness proves to be more challenging than she thought but on her way she meets curious and interesting people and a new life begins.

Upon arriving in Japan, she got lost, and separated from her travel companion. Mitsuyoshi helps her and brings her to his grandfather's coffee shop.
