Shinnosuke Nohara, A.K.A. Shin-chan, a combination of Dennis The Menace and Howard Stern, is a 5-year-old growing up in Kasukabe in this animated series. His foul mouth and rude behavior constantly scandalize his parents (although his father seems to be a big influence), his teacher, and everyone else with the bad luck to cross his path. Later in the series Shin-chan gains a baby sister, who seems well on the way to following in his footsteps.

Dr. Norimaki is a bumbling inventor who dreams of one day getting wealth and a girlfriend, or at least a good collection of dirty magazines. He manages to build a robot child, which he names Arale. Arale works perfectly, except that she has incredible super powers and a child's obliviousness to the trail of destruction she leaves everywhere she goes. Episodes usually focus on Arale, Norimaki, and the town's strange inhabitants (which include talking trees and mountains, a pair of alien invaders desperately trying to leave, and a Superman with questionable ethics) going to surreal lengths to get the things they want.

A robot-type cat known as Doraemon was sent back to the past by Sewashi Nobi to help a lazy boy named Nobita Nobi. With Doraemon's gadgets, Nobita uses it for several mischiefs and sometimes take revenge on his bully, Chaien, Takeshi Goda, but things get a little out of control. Both of them and their friends went to adventures using the future gadgets. Sometimes Doraemon misplace his necessary gadgets which leads them into a bigger problem, but in the end, things turn out well.

Three brother bears awkwardly attempt to find their place in civilized society, whether they're looking for food, trying to make human friends, or scheming to become famous on the internet. Grizzly, Panda and Ice Bear stack atop one another when they leave their cave and explore the hipster environs of the San Francisco Bay Area, and it's clear the siblings have a lot to learn about a technologically driven world. By their side on many adventures are best friend Chloe (the only human character in the cast), fame-obsessed koala Nom Nom, and Charlie, aka Bigfoot.

Timmy Turner, a 10-year-old boy, has had it with his babysitter! He summons his fairy godparents who have the power to grant him wishes. Some of the wishes are really helpful, others don't work out so well. Timmy's godparents Wanda and Cosmo have ideas of their own and always lead Timmy on interesting adventures.

Welcome to Elmore. This quaint little suburb isn't quite what it seems, as in Elmore, just about everything has the ability to come to life. The Amazing World of Gumball follows the misadventures of Gumball, a twelve-year-old cat. With the help of his best friend Darwin, his former pet goldfish that grew legs and joined the family, he gets into all sorts of antics. He is joined by his sister, Anais, a four-year-old bunny with heightened intelligence. His father, Richard, and his mother, Nicole, are there to provide him support as well.
