ROMANCE COMEDY

Kohei Kuryu is a former juvenile delinquent who drops out of junior high and goes on to earn a high school equivalent diploma. After passing the law board exams, Kuryu becomes a prosecutor. Not your typical prosecutor, which is quickly seen through the clothes that he wears, Kuryu possesses quick instincts and a kind of cleverness that only someone raised on the streets could have. Maiko Amamiya is a shrewd public prosecutor who has her eyes set on passing the exam to become a deputy prosecutor and tries her best to be noticed by her boss. Kuryu, on the other hand, after earning a reputation for doing top-notch work, is transferred to Amamiya's division, and finally opens his eyes to the possibility of promotion. Unfortunately, his unprecedented work behavior abruptly brings things to a halt. Although earning a reputation as a bad apple, the influence from Kuryu's strong pursuit of justice slowly begins to change things around him. This drama is filled with it all; love, laughs and lots of emotion.

Kumiko is a shy and nervous college freshman. She moves into run-down student accommodation having shaking off the constant browbeating from her overbearing mother. At a high school entrance ceremony, high school student Kotoko Aihara, who isn't that smart, notices pretty boy Naoki Irie. She falls in love with him immediately. Kotoko initially doesn't express her feelings to him, but finally has a chance to tell him how she feels. Unfortunately, Naoki turns Kotoko down, saying "I don't like dumb women". One day, Kotoko Aihara's house is severely damaged by a meteor. Until the house is rebuilt, Kotoko Aihara and her father decide to live with her father's friend. When Kotoko Aihara moves to her new temporary house, she is surprised to learn that Naoki Irie lives there as well.

The story revolves around an eccentric home tutor named Yoshimoto, who is hired to teach the second son of the Numata family. While being tossed around by the weird and unconventional home tutor, the remedial student and his family gradually start changing.

Sakurai Misaki is a patissier who dreams of having her own business in the future and has prioritized work to the extent that she has forgotten how to kiss. But one day, she is suddenly dismissed and has difficulty finding a new job. At that moment, Misaki meets Shibasaki Chiaki, her first love in high school. Learning about her situation, Chiaki invites her to live-in and work at the seaside restaurant that he runs in Shonan. Chiaki has two younger brothers. Second brother Kanata is a talented chef while third brother Toma is a waiter at the restaurant. Misaki ends up spending one summer with the three handsome siblings.

Tsuyoshi Yamada is a dyed-in-the-wool otaku--an obsessive fan and collector of anime, comics, figures, and the like. He's also terribly shy and awkward around women. One evening, while riding a train home, he sees a woman named Saori being harassed by a drunken passenger and decides to intervene. Saori sends a set of expensive tea cups to Yamada as a token of gratitude. Seeking further advice, Yamada turns to the users of an online message board, who help him to clean up his nerdy image and ask Saori out. As Yamada tries to win over the girl of his dreams, he must fend off a pushy co-worker, a rival suitor, and the temptation to slip back into his old habits.

Hotaru and her manager Seiichi work together, by coincidence live together and soon fall for each other. In the way though is two seasons of drama, romance, propriety, overseas assignments and friends and colleagues.
