Fursy Teyssier is a French songwriter, singer, multi-instrumentalist, animator, and graphic designer. He is most known for being the creator, leader, guitarist, bass guitarist, and lead vocalist of shoegazing band Les Discrets. He is currently the live bass guitarist for Empyrium. He is also the former guitarist and bass guitarist of Amesoeurs, and the former live bassist of Alcest. Since 27 December 2015 he is a live member of German gothic metal band The Vision Bleak; he previously directed the music video for their song "The Wood Hag".

Le groupe est formé en 2006 dans la ville de Québec, au Québec, par Moribond et Athros. Le groupe publie fin 2006, début 2007, son premier album studio intitulé Métal noir québécois, qui contient un total de six chansons. L'album, contrairement aux autres albums de black metal traditionnel, n'utilise pas le thème du satanisme, mais du nationalisme québécois.
The Saga of Seven Suns is a series of seven space opera novels by American writer Kevin J. Anderson, published between 2002 and 2008. The books are set in a not-too-distant future where humans have colonized a number of other planets across the galaxy, thanks in part to technological assistance from an ancient alien race, the Ildirans. The series chronicles the universe-spanning war that erupts when humans inadvertently ignite the fury of a hidden empire of elemental aliens known as the hydrogues. Internal conflict is sparked within both the human and Ildiran empires as other ancient elemental races reappear to renew their own ancient war with the hydrogues.

Roadburn Festival is an international music festival held in Tilburg, Netherlands every April since 1999. It was set up as a spin-off from the Roadburn music blog founded by Jurgen van den Brand and Walter Hoeijmakers. Originally focused on stoner rock, Roadburn grew into a major event spanning the entire spectrum of heavy rock and experimental music. The key staff involved with running the festival are Frens Frijns (managing director, CEO of Tilburg's 013 venue), Walter Hoeijmakers (promoter, artistic director) and Becky Laverty (press, communication, side programme).
Since 2014, Roadburn Festival publishes a daily fanzine that is distributed freely to its attendees. The fanzine is titled Weirdo Canyon Dispatch and is edited by JJ Koczan, one of the principal live photographers of the festival and the editor of The Obelisk webzine.

Fyrnask ist eine deutsche Post-Black-Metal-Band. Aufgrund weiterer Einflüsse aus dem postindustriellen Ritual bezeichnet die Gruppe ihre Musik auch als „Ritualistic Black Metal“.
Gegründet wurde Fyrnask als Soloprojekt des Bonner Multiinstrumentalisten und Sängers Fyrnd (einer der beiden Musiker der Neofolk-Gruppe Nebelung) als solches verblieb es bis 2014 aktiv. 2010 erschien das Debütalbum Fjǫrvar ok Benjar in Eigenvertrieb. Über das schwedische Musiklabel Temple of Torturous erschienen die Folgealben Bluostar (2011) und Eldir Nótt (2013). Als vollwertige Band formierte sich Fyrnask im Lauf des Jahres 2014 mit den Gitarristen Blutaar (Drautran, Árstíðir Lífsins) und Exord, dem Bassisten Johannes Schmid und Svipr am Keyboard, sowie Blizzard am Schlagzeug. Altar of Plagues were an Irish black metal band, founded in Cork by James Kelly. After gaining attention in the metal community with a series of self recorded demos and EPs, the band released their first studio album, White Tomb, in April 2009 on Profound Lore Records. Following a year of gigging and some changes to the lineup, the group signed with Candlelight Records in January 2010. They released their second album Mammal in 2011, with US/Can and ROW editions featuring alternate artworks. The album's tour included a European headline tour and festival appearances such as the Hopscotch Music Festival in the US.
The Flenser is an American record label founded by Jonathan Tuite in 2010 from San Francisco, California. It describes itself as a "dark music" label and a "dark experimental record label".
Misþyrming (Icelandic pronunciation: [ˈmɪːsˌθɪrmiŋk]) are a black metal band from Reykjavík, Iceland. The band formed in June 2013 and are currently signed to the French record label Norma Evangelium Diaboli. They released their debut studio album Söngvar elds og óreiðu on 7 February 2015 to widespread critical acclaim. The band have since toured Europe and the United States, performed at Eistnaflug, and were named an 'artist in residence' at the famous Roadburn Festival in 2016.
The band started as founding member D.G.'s solo project. Tómas Ísdal, with whom he ran the Vánagandr record label, joined him. He eventually deferred his graduation date in favour of touring with the band, passing his final exams after being tutored by band-mate Helgi.
Lake Borgne is a lagoon of the Gulf of Mexico in southeastern Louisiana. Although early maps show it as a lake surrounded by land, coastal erosion has made it an arm of the Gulf of Mexico. Its name comes from the French word borgne, which means "one-eyed."
Panopticon is an American black metal band founded by Austin Lunn in Louisville, Kentucky in 2007. Their most recent album ...And Again Into the Light was released in 2021. The band's music has been described as "wrenching in its intensity but also sweeping and spectacular" and "ideologically open-minded and musically progressive, tackling issues around self-identity, ecology, religion and politics." Lunn's lyrical style has also been noted as "natural, organic, and methodical, masterful in its writing, fiery and alive in its execution."
