The Beths are a New Zealand indie rock band, originally from Auckland. Formed in 2014, the band currently consists of Elizabeth Stokes (vocals, rhythm guitar), Jonathan Pearce (lead guitar, vocals), Benjamin Sinclair (bass, vocals), and Tristan Deck (drums).

Elizabeth Stokes and Jonathan Pearce originally met in high school, and they met both Benjamin Sinclair and Ivan Luketina-Johnston when all four attended classes at the University of Auckland, studying jazz. Prior to The Beths, Luketina-Johnston was performing swing under the moniker of Sal Valentine. Stokes, Pearce and Sinclair were all a part of his backing band, The Babyshakes, for various tenures.

The Beths were formed in late 2014 and released their first single "Idea/Intent" via SoundCloud in July 2015. Stokes said that she named the band using her own name, after being inspired by Gilmore Girls character Lorelai Gilmore naming her daughter after herself. In March 2016, the band independently released their debut EP, Warm Blood. The EP spawned a single, "Whatever," which was released with an accompanying music video in May 2016.

Caroline Elizabeth Rose (born October 19, 1989) is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. After releasing two records of folk and country-inspired music, she released a pop-rock album Loner in 2018. Her most recent album, Superstar, was released on March 6, 2020.

Born in 1989 in Long Island, Rose grew up in Center Moriches, New York. The daughter of two artists, Rose began writing songs and poems at age 13. Rose attended Wellesley College in Massachusetts, where she graduated in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in architecture.

In 2012, Rose and producer/multi-instrumentalist Jer Coons launched a Kickstarter to fund the production of Rose's first album America Religious. The campaign exceeded its goal of $8000, eventually raising $10,115. The album, blending American folk music, country, and rockabilly styles was self-published later that year. Two years later, Rose released her first nationally distributed album, I Will Not Be Afraid on Little Hi! Records. Like the first album, it was produced with Jer Coons and featured music in a variety of Americana musical styles, including two songs previously released on America Religious.

Haley Hannah Heynderickx (born May 28, 1993) is an American singer-songwriter from Portland, Oregon. In 2016, she released her debut EP, Fish Eyes. Her first full-length album, I Need to Start a Garden, was released in March 2018 on Mama Bird Recording Co.

Heynderickx was born in Stockton, California to a Filipino-American family and grew up in Forest Grove, Oregon, where she learned to sing in church. She graduated from Portland State University.

She released her debut EP, Fish Eyes, in 2016. In March 2018, she released her first full-length recording, I Need to Start a Garden, on Mama Bird Recording Co. The album received positive reviews, including a 7.3 rating from Pitchfork, while NPR Music wrote that the album "captivates" and Uproxx called it "an utterly brilliant folk debut". In January 2018, she was named an "Artist to Watch" by Stereogum.

Palehound is an American band fronted by Ellen Kempner who have released three albums, Dry Food (2015), A Place I'll Always Go (2017) and Black Friday (2019); as well as the Bent Nail EP (2013) and a number of 7" singles. Initially a solo project, the band currently features Kempner on vocals/guitar, Zoë Brecher on drums and Larz Brogan on bass. In 2015 the band received the Boston Music Award as new artist of the year.

Ellen Kempner (born June 10, 1994), is the daughter of Janet and Jim Kempner. Together with a younger sister, she grew up in Westport, Connecticut, where she attended the Staples High School. She developed an interest in playing music at an early age and had guitar lessons from her father. In high school she formed the band Cheerleader together with the drummer Max Kupperberg. During high school, Kempner recorded demos in Garageband, which were later heard by Dan Goldin, the co-founder of Exploding in Sound.

Paradise Music Festival (or simply known as Paradise) is an annual three day camping music festival held in the last weekend of November at Lake Mountain Alpine Resort, located in Victoria, Australia approximately 120 kilometres from Melbourne. The festival was first held in 2013 and has been operating for 9 years.

No festival was held in 2020.

Paradise is characterised as a boutique festival. Capped at 2000 attendees, the event hosts a large number of Australian artists that span from various genres, including many unsigned artists. The event also displays a range of artworks and installation art from emerging visual artists.

The festival site overlooks Great Dividing Range and Alpine National Park. In previous years, the layout of the festival has involved two areas, an outdoor amphitheatre, "Stage Paradise" and "Clubland," a venue designed for night-time performances.

Stella Donnelly is a Welsh-Australian indie rock singer-songwriter and guitarist. After the success of her debut EP Thrush Metal in 2017, she signed with Secretly Canadian in 2018. She released her debut studio album Beware of the Dogs to critical acclaim in March 2019, peaking at number 15 on the ARIA Album Charts and winning Independent Album of the Year at the AIR Awards. Her second album, Flood, was released in August 2022, debuting at number 29 on the ARIA Charts.

Better Oblivion Community Center is an American indie rock superduo consisting of musicians Conor Oberst and Phoebe Bridgers. They released their self-titled debut album on January 24, 2019, through Dead Oceans.

Julien Rose Baker is an American indie rock singer and guitarist. Her music is noted for its moody quality and confessional lyrical style, as well as frank explorations of issues including Christianity, addiction, mental illness, and human nature.

Katherine Paul is a Swinomish/Iñupiaq singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Portland, Oregon. Her music is influenced by post-rock, alternative rock, and Native American traditional music. She has released an EP and two albums under the moniker Black Belt Eagle Scout. Her self-titled EP as Black Belt Eagle Scout was released in June 2014. Her debut album, Mother Of My Children, was first released by Portland tape label Good Cheer Records in 2017, then re-released in September 2018 by Saddle Creek Records. On April 26, 2019, Saddle Creek released a new Black Belt Eagle Scout single titled "Loss & Relax" on a seven-inch vinyl backed with b-side track titled "Half Colored Hair”.

Lucy Elizabeth Dacus is an American singer-songwriter and producer. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Dacus attracted attention with her debut album No Burden (2016), which led to a deal with Matador Records. Her second album, Historian, was released in 2018 to further critical acclaim. Dacus's third studio album, Home Video, was released in 2021.

Sidney Gish (born March 18, 1997) is an American singer-songwriter. As of July 2021, she has released two albums. Her first album, Ed Buys Houses, was self-released on Bandcamp in 2016.

Her second album, No Dogs Allowed, was released in 2017, receiving a 7.7 rating on Pitchfork and winning Album of the Year at the 2018 Boston Music Awards.

Following the moderate internet success of No Dogs Allowed, Gish briefly toured with singer-songwriter Mitski in 2018. In March 2019, she performed at South by Southwest and was featured on NPR Music's Austin 100. She was listed as one of Stereogum's Best New Artists of 2018. In 2020, she graduated from Northeastern University, where she studied Music Industry.

Japanese Breakfast is an indie pop band headed by Korean-American musician Michelle Zauner.

Big Thief is an American indie rock band with folk roots based in Brooklyn, New York. Its members are Adrianne Lenker, Buck Meek, Max Oleartchik (bass), and James Krivchenia (drums).

Phoebe Lucille Bridgers is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, and actress. Her indie folk music typically centers around acoustic guitar and electronic production, with melancholic lyrical themes. She has received four Grammy Award nominations, including Best New Artist.

Mannequin Pussy is an American punk and indie rock band from Philadelphia. They have released three albums; Mannequin Pussy (2014) and Romantic (2016) on Tiny Engines, and Patience (2019) on Epitaph Records. Their recent EP, Perfect, was released in 2021 to favorable reviews.

Mannequin Pussy was formed in October 2010 by friends Marisa "Missy" Dabice and Athanasios Paul, who met when they went to school together. The band was initially a two-piece, with Dabice as the guitarist/singer and Paul as the drummer. In 2011, they released two EPs, titled Bonerjamz! and Meatslave. One of their songs, "Clue Juice", appears on "Leisure Rules", a cassette-only compilation released in July 2012 on the Reeks Of Effort label on Bandcamp. In the same month, thirteen of their songs were released on one side of a split tour cassette called "Banditos", with Idaho band Art Fad on the Trash Palace Tapes label.

Laetitia Tamko, better known by her stage name Vagabon, is a Cameroonian-American self-taught multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and music producer based in New York City.
