Mob Psycho 100 is a Japanese web manga series written and illustrated by One. It was serialized on Shogakukan's Ura Sunday website from April 2012 to December 2017. It has been also available online on Shogakukan's mobile app MangaONE since December 2014. Shogakukan compiled its chapters into sixteen tankōbon volumes. The story follows Shigeo Kageyama, nicknamed Mob, a boy who has strong psychic powers, and his struggles to find the simple happiness he is looking for.

Love Live! Sunshine!! is a Japanese multimedia project co-developed by ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G's Magazine, music label Lantis, and animation studio Sunrise. The project is the second series of the Love Live! franchise and is a spin-off sequel of Love Live! School Idol Project. The story of this project revolves around a new group of nine schoolgirls who become idols in order to save their school from shutting down. It launched in April 2015 with music CDs and anime music videos, followed by a manga version in 2016.

Sakurazaka46 (櫻坂46, Sakurazaka Forty-six), formerly Keyakizaka46 (欅坂46, Keyakizaka Forty-six), is a Japanese idol girl group produced by Yasushi Akimoto. The group was created on August 21, 2015, becoming Nogizaka46's first sister group under the Sakamichi Series. Following the resignation of group's center Yurina Hirate and other main members, the group was rebranded as Sakurazaka46 after their last concert on October 13, 2020. The group's fans are known as Buddies.

Yoasobi is a Japanese music superduo formed by Sony Music Entertainment Japan, composed of Vocaloid producer Ayase, and singer-songwriter Ikura. Represented by the slogan "novel into music", the duo has released songs based on novels posted on Monogatary.com, a novel-centered social media operated by their label, which is also from various media like novels written by professional authors, books, letters, and plays.

Love Live! is a Japanese multimedia project created by Hajime Yatate and Sakurako Kimino. Each of the individual titles within the franchise revolve around teenage girls who become "school idols". The first series of the franchise, titled Love Live! School Idol Project, was created in 2010 which consists of 9-members group called μ's. The second group, Aqours, was created in 2015. A spin-off group, which consists of 12 girls who are rivals to each other, Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, was created in 2018 as part of the franchise's game series Love Live! School Idol Festival All Stars. The fourth group, Liella!, was created in 2020 and consists of 5 first year high school girls, soon expanding to 9 members during the anime's second season.

Iz*One was a South Korean–Japanese girl group formed through the Mnet reality competition show Produce 48. The group was composed of twelve members: Jang Won-young, Sakura Miyawaki, Jo Yu-ri, Choi Ye-na, An Yu-jin, Nako Yabuki, Kwon Eun-bi, Kang Hye-won, Hitomi Honda, Kim Chae-won, Kim Min-ju and Lee Chae-yeon. The group was co-managed by Off the Record and Swing Entertainment.

In that same year, several of her songs were featured in various media: her songs us and Again and Again were used as the openings for Japanese TV Dramas Gisou Furin and Joker x Face respectively, while her songs Drown and Prover were used as the 2nd ending for the anime adaptation of Vinland Saga and the 2nd ending of anime series Fate/Grand Order - Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia respectively.

On June 3, 2020, milet released her debut album Eyes, which hit number 1 on Oricon's albums chart. She collaborated on the album with guitarist Toru of One OK Rock and Man with a Mission member Kamikaze Boy.

Itzy is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment and consisting of members Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna. They debuted on February 12, 2019, with the release of their single album It'z Different. Their accolades include Rookie of the Year at the 34th Golden Disc Awards, New Artist of the Year at the 9th Gaon Chart Music Awards and 2019 Melon Music Awards, Best New Female Artist at the 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards, and the New Artist Award at the 29th Seoul Music Awards; they are the first K-pop girl group to achieve such a "Rookie Grand Slam".

Official Hige Dandism , commonly abbreviated Higedan (ヒゲダン), is a Japanese pop rock band formed in Shimane, Japan in 2012 by Satoshi Fujihara, Daisuke Ozasa, Makoto Narazaki and Masaki Matsuura . 'Hige' translates to facial hair but mostly moustache, and Dandism refers to Manly of man, commonly used in advertising to suggest manliness. So in English it roughly translates to 'Manly Moustache', or 'Macho Moustache'.

(G)I-dle, stylized in all caps, is a South Korean girl group formed by Cube Entertainment in 2018. The group consists of five members: Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi and Shuhua. Originally a sextet, Soojin left the lineup on August 14, 2021. (G)I-dle debuted on May 2, 2018, with the single "Latata" from their first extended play (EP) I Am. They debuted in Japan under U-Cube with Latata on July 31, 2019.

Produce 48 (Korean: 프로듀스 포티 에잇) is a 2018 reality competition show on MNET. It was a large-scale project in which the public "produces" a girl group by voting for members out of a pool of 96 contestants from South Korea and Japan, as well as voting for the group's concept, name and debut single. The show was a collaboration between the Mnet series Produce 101 and the JPop idol group AKB48. The winning 12 contestants, with no nationality caps, as voted only by Korean viewers, would promote as a group for two years and six months. The program itself is primarily in Korean, however staff and trainer instructions were translated onsite by interpreters. The show announced the final 12 members who made it into, as well as the official name of the group IZ*ONE during the finale on August 31, 2018.
