It's a coming of action/comedy about an Asian-American boy trying to find balance in his life as a skateboard New York City teen who is also entrusted with the mystical powers of the American Dragon, guardian of all magical creatures that secretly live amidst the human world. Fourteen-year-old Penny Proud (Kyla Pratt) has one wacky family: over-protective father, Oscar (Tommy Davidson), loving mother, Trudy (Paula Jai Parker), little brother Cece (Tara Strong) and sister Bebe (Tara Strong), and hardcore grandmother Suga Mama (Jo Marie Payton). Her wild friends: Dijonay Jones (Karen Malina White), Sticky Webb (Orlando Brown), Zoey Howzer (Soleil Moon Frye), and LaCienega Boulevardez (Alisa Reyes), and the bullies the Gross sisters (Raquel Lee).

Eliza Thornberry (Lacey Chabert) is not your ordinary kid. It's not just because she travels the world in an RV with her parents Nigel (Tim Curry) and Marianne (Jodi Carlisle), famous nature show hosts. Eliza is doubly unique because she was granted the magical ability to talk with and understand animals. Together with her teen-age sister Debbie (Danielle Harris), her pet monkey Darwin (Tom Kane), and her wild-boy foster brother Donnie (Flea), Eliza gets involved with many different wildlife (and wild adventures).

As events unfold in her life, Clarissa explains to the viewer the motivations behind people's actions.

Phil Diffy is the oldest child in a normal family. Okay, so Phil would be normal he were in his own time. Until then, the Diffys are stuck in the early 21st Century (what they consider the past) and trying to fit in. But with this new life and the misadventures that come with it become the norm, when the time comes will Phil want to return to the future?

Follows the adventures of the whole Rugrats gang. But, now they're all grown up. Angelica's nicer, Chuckie's a risk taker, and the rest of the gang have changed too. The adventures follow the gang in their pre-teen/teen years. Don't forget Spike and the grown ups; they're older, too.

The show revolves around life on a cul-de-sac, focusing on three friends who have nearly identical names: Ed, Edd, and Eddy. Ed is the strongest of the three and the least intelligent, Edd is the smartest and the most socially accepted among others in the cul-de-sac, and Eddy is the de-facto leader of the group and is the meanest of the group. Throughout the show, the trio create numerous scams in order to make money to earn jawbreakers. They also have to deal with numerous misadventures, such as being ostracized from other kids in the cul-de-sac, as well as avoiding the Kanker sisters, who live in a nearby trailer and whom the Eds and the cul-de-sac as a whole despise.

To a kid, every weekend is precious, so each time the final bell rings Friday afternoon, Tino, Tish, Carver, and Lor try to make the most out of the short freedom they have. Tino Tonitini, the show's narrator, is an average sarcastic kid with a good heart and isn't afraid to tell his Mom about his life (actually she usually tricks him into telling her). Tish Katsufrakus comes from an old world family and loves art, music, and all the things her friends find dull. Carver is the athletic one with a shoe fetish. Finally, Lor McQuarrie is the tom-boy. Together, they play pool, eat pizza, and be kids in every sense of the word.

Zack and Cody Martin are 12-year-olds whose lives change when their single mom gets a job as the headlining singer at Boston's swankiest hotel and, as part of her contract, an upper floor suite in which they all now live. Maddie Fitzpatrick is the hotel's teenage gift shop clerk and part-time babysitter who foils the twins' antics; London Tipton is the hotel owner's spoiled daughter; Carey Martin is the twin's mother and Mr. Moseby the hotel manager. While mom works to keep them in line, the twins are elated with the amenities of their new home, especially room service, a swimming pool, a game room and a candy counter. Then the hotel's teenage gift shop clerk Maddie steps in as part-time babysitter and foil to the twins' pranks. To the chagrin of the hotel manager, Mr. Moseby, they try to turn the hotel into their playground, and along the way make friends and foe with the disparate staff, guests and residents including the owner's spoiled daughter London.

A snobbish dog named Brandy Harrington and a dim-witted rabbit named Mr. Whiskers try to make the best of things when they get stranded in the Amazon rainforest together.
