Stephen Budd is a British music industry executive based in London. He is a director of artist and producer management company Stephen Budd Music Ltd, the OneFest Festival, the Africa Express project and is the co-founder of the NH7 Weekender festivals in India. He is a recognised TV commentator on music industry issues, regularly appearing on a variety of British TV news shows. In June 2017 he completed his 3-year term as co-chairman of the MMF. He is a co-executive producer of Amnesty International and Sofar Sounds' ‘Give A Home’ global concert series. His current management roster includes the artists Dry The River and Nubiyan Twist, along with the record producers Rob Ellis, Tore Johansson, Valgeir Sigurdsson, Nick Zinner, Mike Hedges, and Arthur Verocai.

Brownswood Recordings is a London-based independent record label founded by Gilles Peterson in 2006. The label has released an eclectic range of music, reflecting Peterson's diverse musical taste.

The roster includes Ben Westbeech, Ghostpoet, José James, Skinny Pelembe, Mala, The Heritage Orchestra, Anushka, Gang Colours, Daymé Arocena, Yussef Kamaal, Shabaka and the Ancestors, Zara McFarlane.

Kamaal Williams (born Henry Wu, 1989) is a British musician and record producer. Williams rose to prominence alongside drummer Yussef Dayes in 2016 as one half of the short-lived London-based jazz group Yussef Kamaal following the release of the duo's debut album, Black Focus, which earned them the 'Breakthrough Act' award at the 2017 Jazz FM awards. He released two solo albums under his record label Black Focus, including The Return (2018) and Wu Hen (2020). In addition to live instrumentation, Williams also releases electronic music under his given name Henry Wu.

Williams was born as Henry Wu in 1989, in Peckham, South London to a Taiwanese mother and British father who both worked as architects. Growing up, Williams took an interest in learning Mandarin and Chinese calligraphy. From an early age, Williams was involved with a number of creative pursuits. His interest in calligraphy, as well as his parents' involvement with graphic design, contributed to an interest in street art and graffiti culture, an influence which is reflected in the album art of later projects such as Black Focus and The Return.

Soulfest is an annual music festival, first held in 2015, featuring Australian and international artists held in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland. Soulfest's music is solely jazz, hip hop, RnB and neo-soul.

The Best Kept Secret festival is a three-day music festival held inside the Safaripark Beekse Bergen, within the village of Hilvarenbeek in the south of the Netherlands, since 2013.

Trip Hop (as vezes usado como sinônimo de downtempo e também chamado de música de Bristol) é um gênero de música eletrônica downtempo, influenciada por trilhas sonoras de filmes, funk dos anos 1970 e cool jazz criada geralmente usando samples. O trip hop é marcada por downbeats (batidas desaceleradas, menos de 120 bpm) e pelo uso de instrumentos convencionais e acústicos, sendo essa uma característica importante, que acaba personalizando cada grupo e/ou artista.

O Trip hop foi o nome usado pela revista britânica Mixmag nos anos 90 para definir o álbum Maxinquaye, do artista Tricky. Apesar de somente neste momento o gênero ganhasse uma denominação, a história do Trip Hop já vinha sendo construída desde meados dos anos 80.

Inetimi Timaya Odon , better known by his stage name Timaya, is a multiple award-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter. He hails from Odi, Bayelsa state, South-South Nigeria. Timaya became one of Nigeria's most popular performers by combining Nigerian pop with elements of dancehall, hip-hop, and soca. Dubbed the king of the Afro-Soca music genre, Timaya is well known for his blend of Afro-Caribbean/Dancehall music and other music genres. He is the founder of DM Records Limited, which he is also signed to.

Elder Island is an irregularly shaped island located at the eastern opening of the Fury and Hecla Strait. Situated in Nunavut's Qikiqtaaluk Region within the northern Canadian Arctic, the island is north of the Melville Peninsula and Ormonde Island. It is approximately 1 km (0.62 mi) south of Baffin Island, while the Foxe Basin is to the east.

Catching Flies (born 1991) is an English musician, DJ and record producer from London, England. His sound has been described as sitting on the "smooth, mellow side of electronic music" somewhere "between Flying Lotus and Bonobo" and "contains shades of everything from hip hop to house, from soul to jazz." He has self-released three EPs and numerous remixes for artists like Kwabs and Wilkinson.

Catching Flies first came to prominence in October 2012, when his remix of Mt. Wolf's track "Life Size Ghosts" began to get hundreds of thousands of hits on YouTube and he got praise from scores of music blogs. Consequently, the track raced to the number one spot on the Hype Machine.

This was followed by the release of his first EP, The Stars, which included 3 tracks of original music, plus the Mt. Wolf remix. The EP was released by Catching Flies for free on Bandcamp and received thousands of downloads.

Thomas Abraham Misch (born 25 June 1995) is an English musician and producer. He began releasing music on SoundCloud in 2012 and released his debut studio album Geography in 2018. In 2020, he released his second studio album What Kinda Music in collaboration with English jazz drummer Yussef Dayes, distributed through Blue Note Records.

Misch studied music technology at Langley Park School for Boys and later, in 2014, enrolled in a jazz guitar course at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in Greenwich but left after six months to focus on his own music. He began learning to play the violin at age 4, later learning to play the guitar.

Sault (frequently stylised as SAULT) are a British music collective that make a mixture of rhythm and blues, house and disco. The project is helmed by producer Inflo, best known for his work with Little Simz, Michael Kiwanuka, Cleo Sol, Jungle and Adele. Despite critical acclaim, Sault eschew interaction with the media and features an array of unnamed collaborators. They have never played a live show, given an interview or released a music video in support of their music. They frequently foreground black-centric issues.

Since their emergence in 2019, the collective has released six studio albums: 5 (2019), 7 (2019), Untitled (Black Is) (2020), Untitled (Rise) (2020), Nine (2021) and Air (2022).
