Echosmith is an American indie pop band formed in February 2009 in Chino, California. Originally formed as a quartet of siblings, the band currently consists of Sydney, Noah and Graham Sierota, following the departure of eldest sibling Jamie in 2016. Echosmith started first as "Ready Set Go!" until they signed to Warner Bros. Records in May 2012. They are best known for the song "Cool Kids", which reached number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified triple platinum by the RIAA with over 1,200,000 sales in the United States and also double platinum by ARIA in Australia. The song was Warner Bros. Records' fifth-biggest-selling-digital song of 2014, with 1.3 million downloads sold. The band's debut album, Talking Dreams, was released on October 1, 2013.

Edward Christopher Sheeran is an English singer-songwriter. Born in Halifax, West Yorkshire and raised in Framlingham, Suffolk, he began writing songs around the age of eleven. In early 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play, No. 5 Collaborations Project. He signed with Asylum Records the same year.

One Direction, often shortened to 1D, are an English-Irish pop boy band formed in London in 2010. The group is composed of Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and previously Zayn Malik until his departure from the group in March 2015. The group signed with Simon Cowell's record label Syco Records after forming and finishing third in the seventh series of the British televised singing competition The X Factor in 2010.

Janet Maureen Aoife Devlin is a Northern Irish singer-songwriter, who competed in the eighth series of The X Factor in 2011, where she finished in fifth place. Devlin's debut album was released in October 2012 via PledgeMusic on 1 July 2013. After a string of EPs and singles, her second studio album Confessional was released on 5 June 2020.

Adam Lasus (born September 2, 1968 in Mount Kisco, New York, United States) is an American record producer and musician.

Lasus started Studio Red in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1990 and recorded many seminal Indie rock artists there: Helium, Versus, The Lilys, Madder Rose, Space Needle, Varnaline, Joey Sweeney, Matt Keating and many more.

In 1997 he moved to Brooklyn and started Fireproof Recording, a recording studio, which became an important part of the indie music scene in Brooklyn and New York City. While there Lasus worked with PJ Harvey, J Mascis, Joan Jett, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Mark Mulcahy, Spike Priggen, Violet, Daniel Johnston, As well as Members of Sleater Kinney, Cheap Trick, R.E.M., Guided By Voices, The Breeders, The Posies, Sonic Youth, The Beastie Boys, The Go-Betweens and Ween.

Frank Romano is an American born guitarist, songwriter and record producer, influenced by a number of musical styles and backgrounds.

Currently based in Nashville, Tennessee, Romano grew up in a musical family in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio, where he was the guitarist for the Cincinnati funk band, Freebass (now known as Freekbass), a group produced by Bootsy Collins.

Romano has toured and performed internationally with Rob Thomas, Mary J. Blige, Toni Braxton, and Kanye West, among others. He has appeared alongside many of these artists on numerous national television shows, performing on Jay Leno, the Late Show with David Letterman, The View, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, MTV, The Today Show, and Good Morning America. In 2005, he performed with Rob Thomas at the Live-8 Concert, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and can also be seen on Rob Thomas's DVD, Live At Red Rocks, contributing in his backing band on guitar.

Maxwell George "Max" Schneider (born June 21, 1992), known professionally in music as MAX is an American singer and multiplatinum recording artist signed to Arista and Sony RED. In 2018, MAX’s single “Lights Down Low” went double platinum in the US, Platinum in Canada , and Gold in Australia. This led to MAX being named an iHeart 2019 ‘Best New Pop Artist’ nominee, and, in 2020, his new single “Love Me Less” went Gold in the US and Canada , followed up by performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, TODAY, and LIVE with Kelly and Ryan.

The Reflection Tour was the first major headlining concert tour by American girl group Fifth Harmony. Visiting Europe, North America and Asia, the tour supported their debut studio album, Reflection. Fifth Harmony was not backed by a band or backing singers, instead, they opted for studio recorded versions of songs from their album and an acoustic set for covers. The setlist consisted mostly of songs from Reflection, with several adapted from their debut extended play, Better Together along with several medley covers. The shows garnered acclaim from critical reviews, many praising the group's vocal performance, the show's overall themes and the song transitions.

Tatiana (or Tatianna, also romanized as Tatyana, Tatjana, Tatijana, Tytiana, etc.) is a female name of Sabine-Roman origin that became widespread in Eastern Europe. The short form of the name in some Slavic languages is Tanya (Russian: Таня).

Tatiana is a female name of Sabine and Latin origin, a feminine derivative of the Sabine-Latin name Tatius. Titus Tatius was the name of a legendary king of the Sabines, an Italic tribe living near Rome around the 8th century BC. Because the Romans absorbed the Sabines, the name Tatius remained in use in the Roman world and during the first centuries of Christianity, as well as its diminutive Tatianus and the feminine Tatiana.

The name then disappeared from Western Europe including Italy, but remained prevalent in the Hellenic world (Eastern Roman Empire), and later spread to the Orthodox world, including Russia. It honors the Orthodox Saint Tatiana who was tortured and martyred in the persecutions of Emperor Alexander Severus c. 230 AD in Rome. Saint Tatiana is also considered a patron saint of Moscow State University in particular and all Russian students in general. Hence, Tatiana Day is celebrated as Students' Day on January 25th.

A Great Big World is an American musical duo from New York made up of singer/songwriters Ian Axel and Chad King and signed to Epic Records. The group is best known for their single "This Is the New Year", which was performed by the cast in an episode of Glee and reached the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 chart in May 2013, and their worldwide hit "Say Something", particularly after recording it as a duet collaboration with Christina Aguilera. The duet peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100.

Ian Axel and Chad King met at New York University, where they were attending the Steinhardt Music Program. Both were music business students and Axel is said to have convinced King to write a song together. King agreed to work with Axel after hearing him sing. They both wrote and performed songs together prior to Axel embarking on a solo career in which he released an independent album featuring songs that were all co-written by King.

Nina Nesbitt (born 1993 or 1994) is a Scottish singer and songwriter. She has two top 40 singles, and is known for her single "Stay Out", which peaked at No. 21 on the UK Singles Chart in April 2013.

Her first EP, The Apple Tree, was released in April 2012 and peaked at No. 6 on the iTunes download charts after receiving airplay on BBC Radio 1, and also peaked at the top of the iTunes singer/songwriter chart. The Way in the World EP and single were released on 23 July 2013, as a follow-up to "Stay Out". In August 2013, she recorded a cover version of Fleetwood Mac's "Don't Stop", for a new John Lewis advertising campaign, subsequently charting at number 61. The Janoskians (Just another name of silly kids in another nation) are a YouTube comedy group from Melbourne, Australia, The group consists of elder brother Beau Brooks, twins Luke and Jai Brooks, and friend Daniel Sahyoune. James Yammouni left in 2016.

The Janoskians have avid fans known as 'Janoskianators'. Their videos include performing gross out humor and non-consensual pranks on members of the public as well as each other, mockumentaries, dares and skits.

As of August 2018, the Janoskians are no longer active on YouTube.

All original five members were born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Three of them are brothers: Beau the eldest, Luke and Jai are twins, they met Daniel and James at school. Beau and Daniel finished high school but James, Luke and Jai dropped out to focus on the group.

Joshua Rice better known as J Rice is an independent American Conscious Pop and R&B artist. He has released six albums: The Intro (2005), So Close (2008), Phantom Boyz Present: J Rice (2011), 12+ (2014), Joshua (2017) and The Feels (2020). He has never signed with any major label. He has been a YouTuber since 2011, building two channels: J Rice Productions and Mineworks Animations. Those channels have accumulated over 400 million views, and over 1 million subscribers.

MAX (pronounced "Max") is a Japanese female vocal group. The name is an acronym for "Musical Active eXperience". The original members of MAX made their musical debut as members of the Super Monkey's along with lead vocalist Namie Amuro. They branched out on their own in 1995, becoming stars in their own right with selling several million albums and a string of consecutive top 20 singles from 1996 to 2000. Their lead singer, Mina, left the group in 2002 due to pregnancy and was replaced by Aki Maeda who assumed the stage name Aki. Aki left the group in August 2008 to pursue a solo career. Original member Mina returned to the group on October 28, 2008 ushering in the group's comeback after a two-year hiatus.

The group consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Luke Hemmings, lead guitarist Michael Clifford, bassist Calum Hood, and drummer Ashton Irwin. Originally beginning their career as YouTube celebrities, they rose to international fame while touring with English-Irish boy band One Direction on their Take Me Home Tour. Since 2014, 5 Seconds of Summer have sold more than 10 million albums, sold over 2 million concert tickets worldwide, and the band's songs streams surpass 7 billion, making them one of the most successful Australian musical acts in history.

Rising Star was a short-lived American reality television singing competition which began airing on ABC on June 22, 2014. It was based on the international franchise series Rising Star itself based on the Israeli singing competition HaKokhav HaBa made by Keshet Broadcasting Ltd. The program format lets viewers vote for contestants via mobile apps. It was filmed live in Los Angeles. The show was also carried in Canada, with advertising simultaneous substitution and voting access on CTV.

Adam Levine is an American singer and songwriter. He serves as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the pop rock band Maroon 5. Levine began his musical career in 1994 with the band Kara's Flowers, of which he was the lead vocalist and lead guitarist. After the commercial failure of their only album, The Fourth World, the group was reformed in 2001 as Maroon 5 – with James Valentine replacing him as lead guitarist.
