Lion Babe is an American R&B duo from New York City, consisting of singer Jillian Hervey and record producer Lucas Goodman. Following their meeting through a mutual friend, the pair released the single "Treat Me Like Fire" in 2012, which raised their profile and led them to sign a record deal with Interscope Records. Following the signing, the duo released their self-titled debut EP in 2014, and their first studio album in 2016. Their second album was not released until 2019, on their own label.

Startup Cult is the debut album by Australian rap artist Allday. It was released on 4 July 2014. It was released internationally via Wind-up Records on 18 September 2015. The album spawned four singles: "Right Now", "Cult", "You Always Know the DJ", and "Wolves" (featuring Sunni Colón).

Allday released "Right Now" as the lead single from Startup Cult on 25 April 2014. The music video was released on his YouTube channel on 22 May 2014, it was directed and produced by Nima Navili Rad. "Right Now" peaked at number 69 on the ARIA charts on 6 May 2014.

"Cult" was released in May 2014 and peaked at number 97 on the ARIA charts.

The music video for "You Always Know the DJ" was released on 29 June 2014. A single of the song was later released on 12 September 2014, which included a remix by MD.

Lowlands 2015 (voluit: A Campingflight to Lowlands Paradise) is een Nederlands muziek- en cultuurfestival dat plaatsvond op 21, 22 en 23 augustus 2015 in Biddinghuizen. Het was de 23e editie van het Lowlandsfestival. De bekendmaking van de eerste artiesten vond eind januari 2015 plaats.

De kaartverkoop is van start gegaan op 7 februari 2015. Van de 55.000 beschikbare kaarten zijn er uiteindelijk ca. 48.000 verkocht. Het was voor het eerst in 10 edities dat het festival niet uitverkocht raakte.

Tijdens deze editie is er voor het eerst een glamping genaamd Gllamcamp. Op een deel van camping 1 zijn vooraf tenten opgezet die je kunt boeken voor het gehele festival. Er zijn tenten vanaf simpele tentjes die je na het festival mee naar huis kunt nemen tot volledig ingerichte drie sterren tenten inclusief boxspring en donzen dekbed. Daarnaast zijn er ook grote legertenten en tipi's voor groepen.

Glass Animals are an English indie rock band formed in Oxford in 2010. Founded and led by singer, songwriter, and producer Dave Bayley, the group also features his childhood friends Joe Seaward, Ed Irwin-Singer and Drew MacFarlane. Bayley wrote and produced all three Glass Animals albums. Bayley spent his childhood in Massachusetts and Texas before relocating to Oxford, where he met the other band members at school. Their first album, Zaba (2014), spawned the single "Gooey", which was eventually certified platinum in the United States. Their second full album, How to Be a Human Being, received positive reviews and won in two categories at the 2018 MPG Awards for UK Album of the Year and Self Producing Artist of the Year, as well as a spot on the Mercury Prize shortlist. The third, Dreamland, peaked at number two on the UK Albums Chart and number seven on the US Billboard 200.

Dan Vidmar, best known by his stage name Shy Girls, is an American alternative R&B singer-songwriter and producer currently based in Portland, Oregon. His debut EP, Timeshare, was released in 2013 to critical acclaim on the Internet. Throughout 2014, Shy Girls was hand-picked as US tour opener for Haim, Maxwell, and Little Dragon and performed at festivals like Lollapalooza and MusicfestNW. Vidmar also was featured on "All We Need" by Odesza for their 2014 album, In Return. In 2015, he released a 13-track mixtape titled 4WZ which featured guest appearances by Tei Shi, Rome Fortune, Antwon, and Junglepussy. As a producer and songwriter, Vidmar has worked with artists such as Jhené Aiko, Young Thug, Cashmere Cat, Kito, Cyril Hahn, and Yoke Lore.

Cascine is an independent record label based in New York City. Its focus is alternative pop and electronic music. Cascine was formed in September 2010 and is owned by Jeff Bratton.

Protemnodon is an extinct genus of megafaunal macropodids that existed in Australia, Tasmania, and New Guinea in the Pliocene and Pleistocene. It is also called the giant kangaroo.

Recent analysis of mtDNA extracted from fossils indicates that Protemnodon was closely related to Macropus. The species formerly known as Protemnodon bandharr and Protemnodon buloloensis have been moved to a new genus, Silvaroo, while the New Guinean species P. nombe has been moved to the new genus Nombe.

Based on fossil evidence, Protemnodon is thought to have been physically similar to wallabies, but generally larger and more robust. Protemnodon nombe was the smallest in the genus, weighing about 45 kg; Protemnodon roechus was the largest in the genus, weighing around 170 kg.

Gavin Turek is a singer, songwriter, dancer, and actress from Los Angeles, California.

Sampha Lahai Sisay is an English singer, songwriter, musician and record producer from Morden, South London. Sampha is widely known for his collaborative work with Kendrick Lamar, SBTRKT, Jessie Ware, Drake, Kanye West, Solange and others. Sampha has released two solo EPs: Sundanza (2010) and Dual (2013). Sampha's debut album, Process, was released on 3 February 2017 by Young and won the 2017 Mercury Prize.

The Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival is a music festival held annually in San Francisco, California, at Golden Gate Park. The festival is produced by Another Planet Entertainment, Superfly Presents, and Starr Hill Presents. It is the largest independently owned music festival in the US. In 2019, it was one of the world's highest grossing festivals with revenues of almost $30 million.

The Seoul Music Awards is a major South Korean music awards show presented by the newspaper Sports Seoul. The award winners are selected based on a combination of criteria, including music sales, popular votes, and expert judges' opinions.

Slow Roosevelt (1996-2004) was one of the premier hard rock acts in the famous Deep Ellum music during its peak from 1999-2004. Although other bands in that genre were on the scene (e.g., Drowning Pool and Jibe), Slow Roosevelt was the band that started it all for hard rock during that time. Considered the Grandfathers of modern Dallas metal, the band accomplished many successes such as a nationally released album through Reality Records/Sony Entertainment and a music video that premiered on VH1. Although their fans rarely described them as "metal" the Dallas Observer awarded them best metal act several years running.

Most notable for the band was their live shows at famous Dallas venues like Trees and Curtain Club. These shows were described as energetic and polished. Several shows were accompanied by added extras such as a suspension artist who would swing above the band and crowd while suspended by meathooks through their flesh. Also of note was the show opening for Kid Rock and Drowning Pool at the Smirnoff Center in Texas. Their last show was March 19, 2004 at the Curtain Club.

Tommy Paxton-Beesley (born 1990/1991), also known as River Tiber, is a Canadian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and record producer. He released his debut studio album Indigo in 2016. As a songwriter, Paxton-Beesley has frequently collaborated with producer Frank Dukes and artists including Kaytranada, Daniel Caesar, and BadBadNotGood. He has co-written the charting songs "No Tellin'" by Drake, "Broken Clocks" by SZA, "AstroThunder" by Travis Scott, and "I Keep Calling" by James Blake.

Paxton-Beesley was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. He also spent a year in Italy, where he lived near the Tiber River. Growing up, he took part in community music programs and attended the Claude Watson School for the Arts. He attended McGill University before graduating from the Berklee School of Music.

Francis and the Lights is an American pop project led by Francis Farewell Starlite. The term "and the Lights" refers both to the lights on a stage and pixels on a computer screen.
