Twenty One Pilots is an American musical duo from Columbus, Ohio. Initially a band, the group was formed in 2009 by lead vocalist Tyler Joseph along with Nick Thomas and Chris Salih, who both left in 2011. Since their departure, the line-up has consisted of Joseph and drummer Josh Dun. The duo is best known for their singles "Stressed Out", "Ride", and "Heathens". The group received a Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards for "Stressed Out". The band independently released two albums, Twenty One Pilots (2009) and Regional at Best (2011), before being signed by record label Fueled by Ramen in 2012. Their label debut, Vessel, was released in 2013 and became the second album in history on which every track received at least a gold certification, making Twenty One Pilots the first band in the history of music to see every song on two albums earn gold or platinum awards.

Michael Joseph Nelson, known under the stage name Banners (styled as BANNΞRS), is an English musician from Liverpool, based in Liverpool. He released his debut studio album Where the Shadow Ends in 2019.

Nelson grew up singing in Liverpool Cathedral Choir and performed with the choir in various locations throughout Europe before deciding to start a solo career. In 2015, he relocated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada, from his native Liverpool, and contacted Canadian producer Stephen Kozmeniuk to work on his sound. Nelson released his debut single "Ghosts" in March 2015 under the stage name Raines. A music video for the song was directed by Christopher Ranson.

His second single, "Shine a Light", was released in August 2015 under the new moniker Banners. A music video for the song was directed by Christopher Ranson and released in October 2015. "Shine a Light" peaked at number 5 on the Billboard Canada Rock chart, and number 71 on the Canadian Hot 100.

AJR is an American indie pop trio composed of multi-instrumentalist brothers Adam, Jack, and Ryan Metzger. Their most successful songs include "I'm Ready", "Sober Up", "Burn the House Down", "Way Less Sad", "100 Bad Days", "Weak", "World's Smallest Violin", "Bang!", "I Won't" and “The DJ Is Crying For Help”. In 2019, their third album Neotheater debuted at number 8 on the Billboard 200, and hit number one on the Top Rock Albums chart. "Bang!" is their highest-charting song and only song to reach the top 10 in the United States, peaking at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 on January 20, 2021.

Oh Wonder are an English, London-based alt-pop duo consisting of Anthony Vander West and Josephine Vander West. Since releasing their debut album, they have seen international success with their alt-pop singles. Oh Wonder recorded and released one song a month for a year, starting in September 2014. All of the songs were released together as a self-titled debut album on 4 September 2015. On 14 July 2017, the duo released their second album, Ultralife. On 12 February 2020, they released their third album, No One Else Can Wear Your Crown. On 8 October 2021, the now-married duo released their fourth studio album, 22 Break. All four albums were written, recorded, produced, and mixed by the duo and have seen cross-platform success.

Ali John Meredith-Lacey (born 11 August 1991), better known under the moniker Novo Amor, is a Welsh multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, sound designer and producer. Lacey rose to prominence after the release of his debut EP Woodgate, NY in March 2014.

Lacey was born on 11 August 1991 and raised in Llanidloes, Wales and now resides in Cardiff. Drift, a two-track single self-released in 2012, was Lacey's first release as Novo Amor.

Lacey's first Novo Amor EP, Woodgate, NY, was released 31 March 2014 on Norwegian label Brilliance Records. Building on the success of the EP, Lacey released the single "Faux", a collaboration with Ed Tullett, on Dumont Dumont and Brilliance Records on 23 June 2014. In the same month, Lacey also signed to UK publisher BDi Music, part of Bucks Music Group.

Alec Shane Benjamin (born May 28, 1994) is an American singer-songwriter from Phoenix, Arizona. His 2018 breakthrough single "Let Me Down Slowly" reached the top 40 in over 25 countries and has amassed over 1 billion streams on Spotify as of April 2022. Benjamin primarily writes and sings songs in English, but has released versions of his songs "Older", "The Way You Felt", "Water Fountain", "Devil Doesn't Bargain", and “Shadow of Mine” in Mandarin Chinese.

Benjamin was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, but lived on Long Island, New York during kindergarten and first grade.

He has a sister, for whom he wrote his song "If We Have Each Other".

Initially, Benjamin signed to Columbia Records while still enrolled at University of Southern California. However, Columbia Records ended their partnership weeks after he submitted his album. Despite this, he went on a self-funded tour in Europe to open for Marina Kaye in France and Lea in Germany. He promoted his music by performing in parking lots outside of concert venues and handing out business cards.

Grace Avery VanderWaal is an American singer, songwriter and actress. She is known for her distinctive vocals and has often accompanied herself on the ukulele.

Ashley Nicolette Frangipane (IPA: FRAN-jih-PAH-nee; born September 29, 1994), known professionally as Halsey ( HAWL-zee), is an American singer and songwriter. Gaining attention from self-released music on social media platforms, she was signed by Astralwerks in 2014 and released her debut EP, Room 93, later that year. Halsey released her debut studio album, Badlands, in 2015. The album was later certified Double Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), as were its tracks "Colors" and "Gasoline".

In 2016, she was featured on The Chainsmokers' single "Closer", which topped the charts in over 10 countries, and was later certified 14× Platinum by the RIAA. Her second studio album, Hopeless Fountain Kingdom (2017), consisted of more "radio-friendly" music than her previous releases; its singles "Now or Never" and "Bad at Love", both reached the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100, with the latter peaking in the top five. In 2018, she released the single "Eastside" alongside Benny Blanco and Khalid, which reached the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100.

Andrew John Hozier-Byrne, known mononymously as Hozier, is an Irish musician, singer, and songwriter. His music primarily draws from folk, soul, and blues, often using religious and literary themes. He had his international breakthrough after releasing his debut single "Take Me to Church", which has been certified multi-platinum in several countries.

Graeme James Ewers Jenkins(born 1958 in London, United Kingdom) is a British conductor, specializing in opera. He read music at the University of Cambridge, and later studied conducting at the Royal College of Music. He worked with Norman Del Mar and Sir David Willcocks, and as an Adrian Boult Conducting Scholar, Jenkins conducted Britten's Albert Herring and The Turn of the Screw. From 1986 to 1991, he was music director of Glyndebourne Touring Opera.

Jenkins made his first conducting appearance with the Dallas Opera in 1992, and in 1994, became the company's music director. In Dallas, he became the youngest ever British conductor to have conducted Richard Wagner'sDer Ring des Nibelungen. In May 2007, Jenkins extended his Dallas contract to May 2011. Subsequent to a further extension of his Dallas contract to May 2013, the Dallas Opera announced in May 2011 the conclusion of Jenkins' tenure after the 2012-2013 season. He now has the title of Music Director Emeritus of the Dallas Opera. Jenkins conducted the first commercial recording of Tobias Picker's opera Thérèse Raquin with Dallas Opera for the Chandos label. In Europe, Jenkins was principal guest conductor of the Cologne Opera from 1997 to 2002. Jenkins debuted in 2005 at the Vienna State Opera with Britten'sBilly Budd.

Horizons (Welsh: Gorwelion) is an arts scheme and music festival launched jointly in 2014 by BBC Cymru Wales and the Arts Council of Wales to develop new independent contemporary music artists. It is curated by BBC presenter Bethan Elfyn.

The scheme hosts a yearly showcase, but also displays its artists through slots at major domestic and international festivals, as well as securing studio access at the likes of Rockfield and Maida Vale.

In February 2014, the scheme launched and first took part of the National Eisteddfod in Llanelli, promoting artists including musician Chris Jones on the Llwyfan Perfformio.

In May 2014, Horizons was named as 'Horizons 12' and announced the first twelve artists for the inceptive event. Over 300 applicants were reviewed by the scheme, and among the final artists were:

Finneas Baird O'Connell (born July 30, 1997), known mononymously as Finneas (stylized as FINNEAS), is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, and actor. He has written and produced music for various artists, including his sister, Billie Eilish. He has won eight Grammy Awards among 13 total nominations, including nominations for all of the Big Four. For his work with his sister he has won Record of the Year twice in a row, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical and was nominated for Best New Artist for his solo work. Their song "No Time to Die" from the film of the same name earned him an Academy Award, a Golden Globe and another Grammy.

The 1975 are an English pop rock band formed in 2002 in Wilmslow, Cheshire. Now based in Manchester, the band consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Matthew "Matty" Healy, lead guitarist Adam Hann, bassist Ross MacDonald, and drummer George Daniel.

Oliver Riot is a R&B/Soul duo composed of Benjamin and Alexander Moore, identical twins from Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.

Ben and Alex Moore lived in Peru until the age of 5, when their family moved to New Mexico. When they were 14, they started playing Gypsy Jazz together in the style of Django Reinhardt at restaurants, coffee shops, bars, breweries, and street corners in Albuquerque. They purchased their first car, a green Ford Explorer, with the money they received from gigs and began writing their own music at the age of 16. Two years later, the brothers drove to Los Angeles in that Ford Explorer to play music.

Shortly following their move to LA, Oliver Riot took home first place in the Grammy's annual "Rock The Mic Competition", showcasing emerging California artists, and were awarded studio time with legendary producer, Mike Clink (Guns N' Roses, Metallica, Eddie Money, etc.).

Seafret is a British music duo consisting of singer Jack Sedman and guitarist Harry Draper, from Bridlington, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Their debut studio album Tell Me It's Real peaked at No. 59 on the UK Albums Chart.

The duo formed in 2011 after Jack Sedman and Harry Draper met at an open mic night near their hometown of Bridlington. They were impressed with each other's performances, and quickly decided to work together as musicians. They lived close to the coast, and the name of the band referenced both the mist that rolls in from the North Sea during the summer, and a pun on a guitar fretboard. After gaining some traction online in 2014, they moved to London. In September 2014, they released their debut EP, Give Me Something. They released their second EP, Oceans in January 2015. They released their debut single, "Atlantis" in May 2015. They released the single "Be There" in June 2015. In October 2015, they released a cover of Bring Me the Horizon's "Drown". They released the single, "Wildfire" in November 2015. In January 2016, they released their debut studio album, Tell Me It's Real. The album peaked at number 59 on the UK Albums Chart. They released their third EP, Acoustic Sessions in August 2016. They released the single "Blank You Out" in November 2016. They released the single "Can't Look Away" in July 2018. They released the single "Monsters" in August 2018. They released their fourth EP, Monsters in September 2018.

Neeco Delaf is a French music producer and songwriter. Delaf produces mainly downtempo, chillout electronic music. In 2016 his song "Anthropology" was compiled in Café del Mar's album "Café del Mar, Vol. 22". In 2017, he collaborated with Flora Cash on the track "If You Let Me".

Amber Run is a British indie rock band from Nottingham, UK composed of Joshua "Joe" Keogh, Tom Sperring, and Henry Wyeth. The band have released three full-length albums. three mini-albums and five EPs. Initially called Amber, they later changed their name to avoid conflict with the German dance-pop singer of same name.

Joshua Keogh, Tom Sperring and Will Jones were originally friends from Buckinghamshire at Dr Challoner's Grammar School where they played in an alt rock band. With Felix Archer from the same area and Wyeth from Kent, they met while studying at University of Nottingham. They all studied for degrees in Humanities and Law, but abandoned their studies in second year to focus on the band. Keogh initially performed under his own name and started to get 'a bit of momentum [so] we sat down and jammed out one day and there was something about it. It was so much better than what I was doing solo, so we started a band'.
