Claimed by some to be one of the most unconventional and experimental films ever made, Wavelength is a structural film of a 45-minute long zoom in on a window over a period of a week. Very unconventional and experimental, indeed.

Seemingly at random, the wings and other bits of moths and insects move rapidly across the screen. Most are brown or sepia; up close, we can see patterns within wings, similar to the veins in a leaf. Sometimes the images look like paper cutouts, like Matisse. Green objects occasionally appear. Most wings are translucent. The technique makes them appear to be stuck directly to the film.

Sadly, a man dies unexpectedly in the street from a horrible car accident and his immortal soul is wandering alone and perplexed. Suddenly, the silver night-lights are now dimmer, the town is insufferably empty, and an unbearable, almost palpable solitude is crushing the man as the ever-present Pale Death is approaching. "Please, show me many things so that I remember", says the young man unable to come to terms with his demise, so without delay, the omnipotent Death grants him his wish. More is what his heart desires, but the Reaper is impatient.

A saga of childhood reveries and adult regrets that is also the first-ever fully animated film using encaustic painting.

In the outback, on the railway station there lives a family. 4th grade schoolboy Vasya Rubtsov is experiencing the death of his beloved best friend the cow. The boy remembers how they used to have a cow, how this cow fed everyone with milk and how she suffered when the calf was sold for meat.
