Norman Earil Hutchins is an American gospel musician. He started his solo music career, in 1992, with the release of, Norman Hutchins, that was released by Sparrow Records. He has released ten albums, over the course of 21 years, with Sparrow Records, JDI Records, and IR Records. Seven albums have charted on the Billboard magazine Gospel Albums chart.

Shekinah Glory Ministry is an American gospel music group ministry from Chicago, Illinois, they started making music in 2000. The group is from Valley Kingdom Ministries International in Chicago. They have their own label imprint, Kingdom Records, that all albums are released under. They have released nine albums, with five of them appearing on various Billboard charts. Their greatest-hits collection The Best of Shekinah Glory Ministry also charted on the Billboard charts in 2009. There are six different aspects to the group from Encouragers, Exalters, Karar, Minstrels, Signs & Wonders, and Standard Bearers.

The Chicago, Illinois-based gospel music group ministry, Shekinah Glory Ministry started in 2000 at Valley Kingdom Ministries International. Donald Andrew "Donnie" McClurkin, Jr. is an American gospel singer and minister. He has won three Grammy Awards, ten Stellar Awards, two BET Awards, two Soul Train Awards, one Dove Award and one NAACP Image Awards. He is one of the top selling gospel artists, selling over 10 million albums worldwide. Variety dubbed McClurkin as a "Reigning King of Urban Gospel".

Men of Standard is an American gospel group.

The group spent the bulk of their tenure as signees to the Malaco Records subsidiary Muscle Shoals. Their album released on Columbia Records/Sony Gospel features production from Warryn Campbell as well as a guest appearance from rapper Heavy D and Kirk Franklin. They were also a featured act on the second leg on Kirk Franklin’s Hero tour.

The current group is Bryan Pierce, Isaac Carree and Lowell Pye.

Lowell Curtis Pye, Sr. (born March 28, 1970 Detroit, Michigan) sang as a tenor in John P. Kee’s V.I.P choir. In 1991, Pye was featured as the lead in Kee’s "Jesus Is Real." Pye, who grew up in Detroit, Michigan sang in an adult gospel men’s quartet at the age of four. He is now a Praise & Worship leader at his church.

Byron Louis Cage is an American gospel recording artist.

Darwin Todd Hobbs is an American gospel music singer noted for his vocal similarity to classic soul singers Luther Vandross, Freddie Jackson and Lou Rawls. In addition to his career as a gospel artist, Hobbs and his ensemble The Darwin Hobbs Choir have also performed both studio and live background vocals for artists such as Switchfoot, Jars of Clay, BeBe Winans, Marvin Winans, CeCe Winans, Michael W. Smith, T.D. Jakes, Shirley Murdock, Michael McDonald, including a duet with the one and only "disco queen" Donna Summer and countless others. Hobbs also played a small acting role in the HBO movie Boycott. His single, "Everyday", appeared on the Soul Power compilation album.

Karen Valencia Clark-Sheard (born Karen Valencia Clark; November 15, 1960) is an American gospel singer, musician, and songwriter. The youngest daughter of pioneering gospel choral director Mattie Moss Clark, Sheard began her career as a member of the legendary Grammy Award-winning female gospel group The Clark Sisters. She is the mother of contemporary gospel singer and actress Kierra "Kiki" Sheard. She has won four Grammy Awards.

During the hiatus of the Clark Sisters, Sheard rose to fame after she recorded her critically acclaimed and much anticipated solo album Finally Karen, which spawned her hit, "Balm in Gilead" (a re-recording of a song she originally recorded as part of The Clark Sisters back in the 1980s for their Heart & Soul album) the R&B-flavored "Just For Me" and "Nothing Without You" – a contemporary duet with R&B diva Faith Evans. Finally Karen became one of the most successful gospel albums of 1998 earning Sheard a Grammy nomination and earning her a Soul Train Lady of Soul Award for "Best Female Vocalist"

Bishop Marvin Louis Sapp Sr. (born January 28, 1967) is an American Gospel music singer-songwriter who recorded with the group Commissioned during the 1990s before beginning a record-breaking solo career. Sapp is also the founder and former senior pastor of Lighthouse Full Life Center Church, located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He recorded Perfect Peace in 1995.

As of November 17, 2019, he was installed as senior pastor of The Chosen Vessel in Fort Worth, Texas.

Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Sapp began singing in church at age four. He spent his teenage years singing with a number of Gospel groups and ensembles. He was a student at the unaccredited Aenon Bible College in Indianapolis, Indiana. He dropped out of Aenon after being invited by Gospel singer Fred Hammond to sing with Commissioned in 1990 after Keith Staten left. Sapp appears on the group's albums Number 7, Matters of the Heart, and Irreplaceable Love. Sapp left in 1996 and was replaced by Marcus R. Cole.

Rev. W.R. "Smokie" Norful, Jr. is an American gospel singer and pianist, best known for his 2002 album, I Need You Now and his 2004 release, Nothing Without You, which won a Grammy at the 47th Annual Grammy Awards for Best Contemporary Soul Gospel Album in 2004. Norful received his second Grammy in 2015 at the 57th Annual Grammy awards for his song "No Greater Love", ten years after winning his first.

Pastor Smokie Norful spent the early portion of his life in Muskogee and Tulsa, Oklahoma. He later moved to Pine Bluff, Arkansas, where he attended Jack Robey Junior High and Pine Bluff High School. He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff with a bachelor's degree in history. He also received formal training in ministry at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, Illinois, and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Ill., where he studied to achieve a Master of Divinity.

Richard Smallwood (born November 30, 1948 in Atlanta, Georgia) is an American gospel music artist who formed The Richard Smallwood Singers in 1977 in Washington, DC.

Richard graduated cum laude from Howard University with degrees in both vocal performance and piano, in addition to graduate work in the field of ethnomusicology. Smallwood was a member of The Celestials, the first gospel group on Howard University's campus. That group was the first gospel act to appear at Switzerland's Montreux Jazz Festival. Richard was also a founding member of Howard's first gospel choir.

Smallwood's recording career began in 1982 with the album The Richard Smallwood Singers. The album spent 87 weeks on Billboard's Gospel chart. Its followup, Psalms was nominated for a Grammy. Two years later the album Textures was also nominated. Textures spawned the now-classic "Center Of My Joy" written by Richard Smallwood along with Bill and Gloria Gaither. He won his first Grammy, along with a Dove Award for his production on the Quincy Jones' gospel project Handel's Messiah: A Soulful Celebration.

Micah Keith Stampley (born September 7, 1971 in Los Angeles, California) is an American gospel singer-songwriter and actor.

Micah Stampley was born on September 7, 1971 to Richard and Delmarie Stampley. The fifth of eight children, he exhibited his musical talent from the tender age of four. By age seven, he was directing the church choir and teaching vocal arrangements and harmonies. Micah grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Stampley spent his youth soaking up the sounds of Andrae Crouch, Michael W. Smith and Shirley Caesar as well as Michael Jackson, Billy Ocean and Cyndi Lauper.

Stampley graduated from Natchitoches Central High School where he earned several music awards. By age 13 he was serving as the minister of music together with his brother (who was his best friend) in their father's church

Vanessa Bell Armstrong (née Bell; born October 2, 1953) is an American gospel singer who released her debut album Peace Be Still in 1983. Armstrong is an 7x Grammy Award Nominee, Stellar Award Winner, and a Soul Train Award winner. She has worked with many in the industry such as, Mattie Moss Clark, Darryl Coley, The Clark Sisters, Rance Allen, James Cleveland, and a host of others. The Detroit Native also has an honorary doctorate degree in theology from Next Dimension University at the West Angeles Cathedral in Los Angeles on Saturday, August 20, 2017.

When I started out, I was a contemporary vocalist however the late Thomas Whitfield mixed it up with a traditional feel and since then I never went far from that... I love the contemporary and I love the traditional... to me the time-honored sounds of Gospel music is our medicine... it gives us hope... it encourages, but the contemporary-up tempo stuff is what lifts us up. It all works together.
