Los Angeles - A talent agent for the movies discovers her cab driver would be perfect to cast, but the cabbie is reluctant to give up her solid cab driver's career. New York - An immigrant cab driver is continually lost in a city and culture he doesn't understand. Paris - A blind girl takes a ride with a cab driver from the Ivory Coast and they talk about life and blindness. Rome - A gregarious cabbie picks up an ailing man and virtually talks him to death. Helsinki - an industrial worker gets laid off and he and his compatriots discuss the bleakness and unfairness of love and life and death.

Sam and Jonathan, a pair of hapless novelty salesmen, take us on a kaleidoscopic tour of the human condition, unfolding in absurdist episodes: a sing-along at a 1940s beer hall, a randy flamenco teacher, a thirsty King Charles XII of Sweden en route to battle, and more slices of reality and fantasy.

Max Fischer is a precocious 15-year-old whose reason for living is his attendance at Rushmore, a private school where he's not doing well in any of his classes, but where he's the king of extracurricular activities - from being in the beekeeping society to writing and producing plays, there's very little after school he doesn't do. His life begins to change, however, when he finds out he's on academic probation, and when he stumbles into love with Miss Cross, a pretty teacher of the elementary school at Rushmore. Added to the mix is his friendship with Herman Blume, wealthy industrialist and father to boys who attend the school, and who also finds himself attracted to Miss Cross. Max's fate becomes inextricably tied to this odd love triangle, and how he sets about resolving it is the story in the film.

Young nun Colleen is avoiding all contact from her family, returning to her childhood home in Asheville NC, she finds her old room exactly how she left it: painted black and covered in goth/metal posters.

Gloria (Anne Hathaway) is an out-of-work girl who, after getting kicked out of her apartment by her boyfriend, is forced to leave her life in New York and move back to her hometown. When news reports surface that a giant creature is destroying Seoul, South Korea, Gloria gradually comes to the realization that she is somehow connected to this far-off phenomenon. As events begin to spin out of control, Gloria must determine why her seemingly insignificant existence has such a colossal effect on the fate of the world.

In this absurdist dark political satire, a somewhat nutty and naive impoverished African American preacher, who along with his worried family and a small group of followers wishes to bring hope to the Miami projects by preaching about his own version of God based on the liberation theology and African nationalism, is forced by a nefarious character to agree to an arms deal in order to save his family from eviction and possibly start his revolution for real. What the preacher doesn't realize is that he has become a target of a complex false flag operation by the FBI to first turn him into a terrorist and then arrest him and score points in the U.S.'s war on terror. However, what the FBI does not realize is that, although a vocal revolutionary, the preacher is also a firm believer in pacifism, a loyal citizen and a very unpredictable character.

After attempting to trick someone already down on their luck in order to win a workplace competition, a telemarketer with the gift of gab will find out whether he can talk his way out of a hostage situation where his own life is on the line.
