Ultra-competitive brother-sister twins Logan and Lindy Watson spend their freshman year of high school with their three best friends. Each episode starts with a comedic 'what just happened?' situation as each twin spins his/her own vivid account of a certain occurrence or predicament. The series utilizes flashback scenes to tell the siblings' weird stories.

Their family adventure starts when the children's dad adopts a family dog named "Stan" so hopefully two fighting step brother and sister will come closer together as a family. It eventually works when the dog runs away and the two must work together to get it back. They bond even more when the kid's find out that the dog can talk and they must keep it a secret from the parents.

Then the hotel's teenage gift shop clerk Maddie steps in as part-time babysitter and foil to the twins' pranks. To the chagrin of the hotel manager, Mr. Moseby, they try to turn the hotel into their playground, and along the way make friends and foe with the disparate staff, guests and residents including the owner's spoiled daughter London.
