Young is a British independent record label that sits in the Beggars Group of labels launched by Caius Pawson in 2006. It has grown from an imprint of XL Recordings into a successful and influential label now partnered with XL and operates across a range of genres. The label's current roster includes The xx, FKA twigs, Sampha, Jamie xx, Koreless and Kamasi Washington.

Panchiko is a British indie band originating from Nottingham. Formed in 1997, it originally comprised Owain Davies (vocals, guitar), Andy Wright (guitar, sampling), Shaun (bass), and John (drums). The band have since been joined by new members John (replacing the original John on drums) and Rob (guitar).

The band first came to public attention in 2016, when their first demo EP, D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L, was discovered by a 4chan user in a charity store in Sherwood, Nottingham, subsequently gaining popularity on the internet. This was unbeknownst to the band until 2020, when Owain was found and contacted by a fan through Facebook. The band has since reformed, playing their first show in over twenty years in Nottingham in December 2021.

Travis Miller (born May 13, 1984) is an American rapper, singer and record producer from Richmond, Virginia. He has recorded under multiple aliases in various genres since his first known released project in 2005, including Lil Ugly Mane, Shawn Kemp, Vudmurk and Bedwetter.

Miller rose to popularity in the early 2010s with an experimental approach to Southern hip hop. His debut album Mista Thug Isolation gained him notoriety in the underground hip hop scene. Since then, he has experimented with a number of styles within and outside the hip hop genre, most recently releasing the indie rock album Volcanic Bird Enemy and the Voiced Concern. His other work spans genres including instrumental and abstract hip hop, black metal, free jazz and noise music.

Blank Banshee 0 is the debut studio album by Canadian artist and producer Blank Banshee. It was released for free via Bandcamp on September 1, 2012.

In 2010 Patrick Driscoll and Curtis "Cormorant" Ferguson began performing live as Blank Banshees (previously Shinjuku MAD) which consisted of "predominantly instrumental" compositions. By 2012 the duo had become a solo act, with Driscoll continuing to release instrumental music under the pseudonym Blank Banshee and Ferguson appearing as a recurrent guest vocalist.

Blank Banshee 0 was produced between 2011 and 2012 in Driscoll's hometown, Saint John, Canada.

In the summer of 2012 Driscoll made a move for the West Coast, seeking to escape the "bubble of economic and demographic slump" plaguing the creative industry of his Maritimes hometown at the time; he relocated to Vancouver, Canada, releasing Blank Banshee 0 shortly thereafter.

Street Sects is an American experimental band from Austin, Texas formed in 2013, composed of vocalist Leo Ashline and multi-instrumentalist Shaun Ringsmuth. Their style is extremely abrasive, characterised by industrial rhythms, use of screamed vocals, samples of both noise and synthesizers, and nihilistic lyrics. Following two EPs released in 2014, the duo's debut album End Position came out on September 16, 2016, on The Flenser to generally positive reviews.

Adam Mark Crisp (born c. 1985), known by the stage name Clarence Clarity, is an English singer, songwriter, producer, and musician. He has been praised for his unique, eclectic pop sound which was described by The Guardian as "funk played by a swarm of bees".

Crisp was born in London and raised in Yateley and Fleet, Hampshire. He played with several bands and under several aliases prior to Clarence Clarity, mostly known for his releases with the band Elle Milano from the mid-to-late 2000s, and his work under the name Entrepreneurs until the early 2010s. Elle Milano broke up in 2008 after the death of Crisp's mother, while the Entrepreneurs name was retired in favour of Clarence Clarity.

Kero Kero Bonito (KKB) are a British indie pop band formed in South London in 2011. The band consists of vocalist Sarah Midori Perry and producers and multi-instrumentalists Gus Lobban and Jamie Bulled.

Big Dada is a British independent record label imprint distributed by Ninja Tune. It was started by reputed hip hop journalist Will Ashon in 1997.
