Josef Ignatius Salvat is an Australian singer and songwriter. He had his first international success after the release of his EP In Your Prime in 2014, which included a cover of Rihanna's song "Diamonds" that reached #2 in France and was used in a commercial by Sony under the Bravia brand. Salvat has released music in English and French, and has collaborated with Gryffin and Paloma Faith, writing the song "If Loving You Was Easy" for her album Infinite Things.

London Grammar are an English indie pop band formed in Nottingham in 2009. The band consists of Hannah Reid, Dan Rothman and Dominic “Dot” Major. Their debut extended play, Metal & Dust, was released in February 2013 by Metal & Dust Recordings, while their debut album, If You Wait, was released a few months later in September. The album reached No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart and was certified Double Platinum by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). The band's second studio album, Truth Is a Beautiful Thing, was released in June 2017, reaching No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart. The latest album, Californian Soil, was released on 16 April 2021 and became their second-consecutive No. 1 album in the United Kingdom.

Lilly Wood and the Prick (also known as Lilly Wood and LILLYWOOD) is a French folk pop duo composed of Nili Hadida and Benjamin Cotto. Although the duo is French, Nili was born in Israel. They are best known for their single "Prayer in C", which was remixed and released as a single in 2014 by German DJ and producer Robin Schulz; the song has topped the charts in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Israel, Lebanon, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

The duo was formed in 2006 when they met in a Parisian café and decided to collaborate on writing songs together.

After collaborating on a number of songs, in 2008 they made a cover of "L.E.S. Artistes" from Santogold. They also met guitarist Pierre Guimard who heard their songs on Myspace and offered to work with them and opened his studio for production of their work. 2008 saw release of their track on a compilation entitled Folk & Proud followed, in 2009, by the EP of the duo Lilly Who and the What? referring to the stage name of the duo. It was released on Choke Industry independent label founded by Pierre Guimard and by Matthieu Tessier, the duo's manager. After 2009, they signed with another independent label called Cinq7.

Milky Chance is a German rock band originating in Kassel. It consists of vocalist and guitarist Clemens Rehbein, bassist and percussionist Philipp Dausch, and their band members, Antonio Greger and Sebastian Schmidt.

Their first single, "Stolen Dance", was released in April 2013, topping the charts in several countries. It also won the 1Live Krone radio award for Best Single.

Their debut album, Sadnecessary, was released in October 2013 and included the single "Down by the River". The album peaked at number 14 in Germany, and in 2014, Spin named Sadnecessary their Album of the Week. The band made their TV debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in October 2014, and also won the European Border Breakers Award that month. They started a tour of North America in late 2014, performing at venues such as the House of Blues and festivals such as Coachella.

The 2015 APRA Silver Scroll Awards was held on Thursday 17 September 2015 at Vector Arena in Auckland, celebrating excellence in New Zealand songwriting. The 2015 ceremony marked the 50th presentation of the Silver Scroll award. As well as honouring the best songwriting of 2015, the awards retrospectively awarded the best song of 1981 as previously no award was presented in that year.

X Ambassadors (also stylized XA) are an American pop rock band from Ithaca, New York. Its members currently include lead vocalist Sam Harris, keyboardist Casey Harris, and drummer Adam Levin. Russ Flynn is a touring member that plays guitar and bass. Their most notable songs include "Jungle", "Renegades", and "Unsteady". The band's debut full-length album, VHS, was released on June 30, 2015. Their second album, Orion, was released on June 14, 2019. Their third album, The Beautiful Liar, was released on September 24, 2021.

X Ambassadors began as a band titled Ambassadors, touring with artists such as LIGHTS. During this time, they self-released their debut EP, Ambassadors EP, creating a music video for its lead single, "Tropisms", shot and directed by Rodrigo Zedillo. Shortly after, the band self-released its debut LP, Litost, which included the song "Litost", which would later be used on the soundtrack for The Host. The band signed a music publishing deal in 2012 with SONGS Music Publishing. The band started a Kickstarter account to shoot a video for the lead single, "Unconsolable", which would be re-recorded later. The group was noticed by Imagine Dragons while frontman Dan Reynolds was sick in the hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. Reynolds heard an acoustic version of "Litost" on 96X WROX-FM and asked Interscope to sign the band as soon as possible.

Yoann Lemoine (French pronunciation: ​[jɔan ləmwan]; born 16 March 1983), known professionally as Woodkid, is a French music video director, graphic designer and singer-songwriter. His most notable works include his music video direction for Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream", Taylor Swift's "Back to December", Lana Del Rey's "Born to Die" and Harry Styles's "Sign of the Times".

Lemoine is also a neofolk musician. On 28 March 2011, he released his first EP Iron EP. On 18 March 2013, he released his first album titled The Golden Age, which is an autobiographical record. He released his second album S16 on 16 October 2020, more than seven years later, following some single releases.

Yoann Lemoine was born in Tassin-la-Demi-Lune, near Lyon to a mother of Polish-Jewish origin. He studied illustration and animation at the Émile Cohl school, where he completed his diploma with honors. He then left for the UK to follow a silk screen printing process course at Swindon College. In 2004, Yoann moved to Paris. After a brief experience at H5, he joined Luc Besson's crew and worked on the project Arthur and the Invisibles for a year. In 2006, Yoann directed a series of roughs for Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette.

C2C is a French musical group formed in 1998 in the city of Nantes. The collaboration group consists of 4 French DJs: Atom and pFeL from Beat Torrent and 20Syl and Greem from Hocus Pocus. Each member of the group uses his turntable as an instrument, recreating in turn drums, bass guitars, scratching a guitar riff, or simulating a brass instrument.

Evergreen are a French indie pop duo. The band formed in Paris in 2008 but have been based in London, UK, since 2011. They've been described as "shape-shifting pop blend[ing] folk melodies, electro beats and exotic rhythms". Their debut album, Towards, was released on 5 May 2014. Their second album, Overseas, was released on 15 June 2018.

NoNoNo is a Swedish indie rock band formed in 2012. Their debut single, "Pumpin Blood", has charted in Europe and the US, peaking at number 22 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart and at number 32 on the Pop Songs chart, among others. The single sold 700,000 copies worldwide.

Andha 7 Naatkal is a 1981 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by K. Bhagyaraj. The film stars him, Rajesh and Ambika, with Kallapetti Singaram and Master Haja Sheriff in supporting roles. It revolves around a woman (Ambika) who is forced into an arranged marriage with a widower (Rajesh), but still longs for her first love (Bhagyaraj).

Factory: machine-music, Op. 19, commonly referred to as the Iron Foundry, is the most well-known work by Soviet composer Alexander Mosolov and a prime example of Soviet futurist music. It was composed between 1926 and 1927 as the first movement of the ballet suite Stal ("Steel"). The remaining movements of Steel, "In Prison," "At the Ball," and "On the Square" have been lost, and Iron Foundry is performed today as a standalone orchestral episode.

Alors qu'ils commencent le lycée, ils composent leurs premières chansons. Ils sont accompagnés par Edouard Frair (basse) et Charles Gousseau (guitare) jusqu'en 2012. Par la suite, Noé Russeil, bassiste, et Lucien Saurin, guitariste, rejoignent Alexandre et Alexis. Le groupe commence alors à faire parler de lui sur la scène locale et régionale.

Fin 2012, le groupe publie son véritable premier EP Paper Child dont le single éponyme est cité dans la presse nationale et est salué par la critique.
