Vampire Knight tells the story of Yuki Cross. The earliest thing she remembers is being attacked on a snowy night by a vampire, and being rescued by Kaname Kuran, who is also a vampire. The story takes place 10 years after that event, Yuki is now the adopted daughter of the Headmaster of Cross Academy. She and her longtime friend Zero Kiryu keep peace at the academy, making sure no problems arise between the Day Class (humans) and the Night Class (vampires). However, the peace they try to keep is fragile, and personal feelings begin to interrupt their duty.

This show focuses on 7 of the 10 teenage survivors of a plane crash. They're all from LA but not all of them are friends. Their plane lands on some island in the South Pacific. 3 of the teens and the pilot go off in the jungle to explore it leaving the other 7 to worry about setting up camp and finding enough food and water. They have a radio but it is a long time before they get any contact with anyone. Each episode takes place within 1 or half a day of them being on the island. Drama occurs between the castaways revealing their insecurities, crushes, egos, and social problems. Surviving becomes more than just finding enough food and shelter. They eventually become like a family, having to learn to live and work together

They are there to follow a destiny given to them by the members of their dying race, a race that they are someday destined to save. This is the background behind the WB series "Roswell". Max Evans, Isabel Evans and Michael Guerin are teenage humans with extraordinary gifts - gifts that are "not-of-this-earth". They are human/alien hybrids, sent here to complete their destiny. Their counterparts have already perished in a war of attrition, thus one day, they will return to their home planet and save their race. Before a fateful day in 1999, the teens hid their gifts.
