Thomas Weston Segura (born April 16, 1979) is an American stand-up comedian, writer, author, actor, and podcaster. Segura co-hosts the Your Mom's House podcast with his wife, fellow comedian Christina Pazsitzky.

Segura was born on April 16, 1979, in Cincinnati. His mother, Rosario "Charo" Segura, is originally from Peru. His father, Thomas Nadeau Segura (1947–2021), was an American of Spanish, Cajun, and French-Canadian ancestry. Thomas Nadeau served as an officer in the Marine Corps and saw action during the Vietnam War, and later worked as a wealth manager and vice president at Merrill Lynch.

Tom grew up speaking Spanish and spent his summers in Lima, Peru. He graduated from Saint Edward's School in Vero Beach, Florida, and from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina. At age 19, he overdosed on GHB and fell into a short coma.

Neal Brennan is an American comedian, writer, producer, director, and podcaster. He is best known for co-creating and co-writing the Comedy Central series Chappelle's Show (2003–2006) with Dave Chappelle and for his Netflix stand-up comedy special 3 Mics (2017).

Moffitt won an Emmy Award in 1977 for his work in the category of Outstanding Achievement in Coverage of Special Events - Individuals for the 28th Primetime Emmy Awards. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College.

William Frederick Burr (born June 10, 1968) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, filmmaker, and podcaster. He has released multiple stand-up comedy specials, most notably Why Do I Do This? (2008), Let It Go (2010), You People Are All the Same (2012), I'm Sorry You Feel That Way (2014), Walk Your Way Out (2017), Paper Tiger (2019), and Live at Red Rocks (2022). He received a Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album nomination for Paper Tiger, and a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Actor in a Short Form Comedy or Drama Series nomination for the dark comedy series Immoral Compass (2021–present).

Burr also created, co-wrote, and voiced the lead character in the Netflix animated sitcom F Is for Family (2015–2021). His other notable acting roles include Patrick Kuby in the AMC series Breaking Bad (2011–2013), Migs Mayfeld in the Disney+ series The Mandalorian (2019–present), and Ray Bishop in the film The King of Staten Island (2020). He has hosted the twice-weekly Monday Morning Podcast since 2007 and co-founded the All Things Comedy network in 2012.

Chris Rock: Tamborine is a stand-up comedy special that premiered on Netflix on February 14, 2018, starring comedian Chris Rock. It is Rock's sixth comedy special and his first for Netflix. It is also Rock's first stand-up special in ten years. It was directed by comedian Bo Burnham and produced by Neal Brennan, Matthew Claybrooks, Tony Hernandez, Christopher Storer and John Skidmore under the Jax Media banner. The special received an extended cut called Total Blackout: The Tamborine Extended Cut, with half hour of extra content

It received overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics, with praise directed towards the special's political themes, Rock's ability to address aspects of his personal life and the overall tone, with some stating that "[Rock] bares his soul".

Michael Che Campbell (; born May 19, 1983) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and writer. He is best known for his work on Saturday Night Live, where he has served as co-anchor on Weekend Update alongside Colin Jost, and the two were co-head writers from 2017 until 2022. Che and Jost co-hosted the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards in 2018.

Che was briefly a correspondent for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and has previously worked as a writer for Saturday Night Live. At the end of September 2014, he became a Weekend Update co-anchor for the 40th season of Saturday Night Live alongside Colin Jost, replacing Cecily Strong.

I'm Sorry You Feel That Way is a 2014 stand-up comedy film written by and starring the American comedian Bill Burr. It was filmed in the summer of 2014 at the Tabernacle Theater in Atlanta, Georgia. The film was shot in black and white, which is rare for modern comedy specials.

Bill Burr discusses topics such as religion, sex, the downside of childhood hugs, the wisdom of Lutherans who believe there is no afterlife, the foolishness of watching the NFL draft on television and the absurdity of being kicked out of bed by your wife.

The film was released December 5, 2014 exclusively on Netflix.

Reviewing the stripped-down production, Maren McGlashan of Paste Magazine stated, "The focus is on the material, plain and simple." He has four brothers and one sister and is of German-Irish heritage. He graduated from high school in 1987. In 1993, he obtained a bachelor's degree in radio from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. In college, one of his professors was writer David Foster Wallace. He worked in warehouses before starting his comedy career, later stating that he enjoyed the freedom of the job: "If my boss gave me a rough time, I could just get on a forklift and just, like, drive away."

Dave Chappelle: Killin' Them Softly is a 2000 American stand-up comedy television film directed by Stan Lathan and written by and starring comedian Dave Chappelle. Filmed at the Lincoln Theatre in Washington, D.C., it was Chappelle's first hour-long HBO special, premiering on HBO on July 26, 2000. In the special, Chappelle talks about a variety of topics, including racism, police brutality, and drug use.

Shortly after the special's release, Steve Johnson of the Chicago Tribune gave it a positive review, writing that it "[covers] the predictable black people versus white people and men versus women territory, but doing it with fresh observations and, more important, a sophisticated structure", and noting: "somebody give this guy a TV series".
