Slightly different than "Batman: The Animated Series." The series takes place approximately three years after the last episode of Batman which ran on Fox. Dick Grayson has grown up taken the costumed identity of Nightwing, with Tim Drake taking over as Robin.

Bumbling Inspector Gadget battles the forces of M.A.D. with the aid of the various gadgets he has on his person: pop-up rollerskates, extensible arms, a helicopter-hat, etc. Despite the arsenal at his disposal (which is just as likely to misfire as work properly), Gadget never seems to be able to catch Dr. Claw, the mastermind behind M.A.D. Quite often, in fact, any success that Gadget might have is often caused by his niece Penny and her dog, who Gadget consistently fails to recognize as working incognito on the case.

The series begins with Aquaman's first day on the job as king of Atlantis, and he's got a lot of catching up to do. Luckily, he has his two royal advisors to back him up: Vulko, the scholar, and Mera, the water controlling warrior-princess. Between dealing with unscrupulous surface dwellers, elder evils from beyond time, and his own half-brother who wants to overthrow him, Aquaman is going to have to rise to the challenge and prove to his subjects, and to himself, that he's the right man for the trident.

After Keith, Lance, Pidge, Hunk, and Shiro are sent into space in a blue lion, they find two "alteans" by the names of Allura and Coran who have been frozen in crypto-pods for ten thousand years. They then discover that they must each pilot one of the robotic lions of Voltron, and defend the universe from an alien species called the "galra", and their evil emperor "Zarkon."
