Originally a vlogger, over the years Tessa Violet's online content became devoted to her musical career with Violet having released two studio albums, Maybe Trapped Mostly Troubled in 2014 and Bad Ideas in 2019.

Mutant League Records is an American independent record label based in Chicago. Established in 2012, Mutant League has released albums for seminal pop-punk groups such as Seaway, Belmont, and As It Is among others. As of 2018, the label has sold over 100,000 albums worldwide.

Ethan Snoreck, better known by his stage name Whethan (formerly Wheathin), is an American DJ and music producer from Chicago. He gained recognition after his remix of the track "XE3" by Mssingno, which as of December 2018 has garnered over 13 million plays on SoundCloud.

Whethan attended Carl Sandburg High School from his freshman year until his first semester of senior year, and at his senior homecoming for his entire school previewing his unreleased work to his classmates. In May 2017, Whethan took a short break from touring with The Chainsmokers in order to attend his graduation.

He first began releasing house music under his real name Ethan Snoreck. At the same time, Snoreck had an alternative account for his trap remixes and edits. That account was previously known as Wheathin which came from his real name "Ethan" and few of his friends happened to say it regularly which made the name stay until he was forced to change his name to Whethan in 2016. He started producing music by 'messing around' on Garage Band on his iPad. He first became interested in music when he began rapping with his friend Trevor in 6th and 7th grade. Since then he listened to well-known musicians such as Daft Punk, Skrillex, and Deadmau5.

Hayden Silas Anhedönia (born March 24, 1998), known professionally as Ethel Cain, is an American singer-songwriter and artist born in Tallahassee, Florida and living in Enterprise, Alabama.

In mid 2017, Cain began experimenting with writing, recording, and producing her own ethereal style, inspired by Christian music and Gregorian chants. After releasing various mixtapes and EPs on streaming platforms under the moniker White Silas, as well as sites like SoundCloud and Tumblr, she adopted a more alternative sound and began using the Ethel Cain moniker in mid 2019. Cain's lyrics focus on nostalgic and Southern Gothic themes, such as poverty, substance abuse, domestic violence, death, and transgenerational trauma. Her music has been associated with the ambient, alternative rock, and dream pop genres.

George Kusunoki Miller (ジョージ・楠木・ミラー, Jōji Kusunoki Mirā, born 18 September 1992) , known professionally as Joji and formerly as Filthy Frank and Pink Guy, is a Japanese singer, songwriter, rapper, comedian, and former YouTuber. Miller's music has been described as a mix between R&B, lo-fi, and trip hop.

Miller began his YouTube career in 2011 shortly after moving to the United States, gaining recognition for portraying oddball characters on the satire channels TVFilthyFrank, TooDamnFilthy, and DizastaMusic. The channels, which featured comedy hip hop, rants, extreme challenges, and ukulele and dance performances, are noted for their shock humor and prolific virality. Marie Ulven Ringheim is a Norwegian singer-songwriter and record producer, known for her indie pop project Girl in Red. Off the Air is an American anthology television series that airs on Adult Swim. Every episode is composed of surreal videos of different media and purposes – animated and live-action short films, clips from feature films and other television series, stock videos, music videos, abstract loops – presented continuously and in succession. These videos are arranged around a single vague theme, as expressed in the episode's title, and are accompanied by songs by various artists. Dave Hughes, the creator of the series, also serves as its editor. He and the rest of the series' producers also commission artists to produce works to be featured in an episode.

Forty-two episodes have aired over eleven seasons since Off the Air premiered on January 1, 2011. Every episode had a time slot of 4 a.m., which has contributed to the series' obscurity and status among fans of Adult Swim. These albums were created originally as her senior project at Purchase. She released her third studio album, Bury Me at Makeout Creek, in 2014 through Double Double Whammy after graduating.
