Wild Child is an American indie pop band from Austin, Texas formed in 2010. The band consists of Kelsey Wilson (lead vocals and violin), Alexander Beggins (lead vocals and baritone ukulele), Sadie Wolfe (cello), Tyler Osmond (bass), Matt Bradshaw (keyboard and trumpet), Cody Ackors (guitar and trombone), and Tom Myers (drums).

Wilson and Beggins met while touring as back-up musicians for a Danish indie act called The Migrant. They began writing songs together in the backseat of the tour van and found they worked very well as a songwriting team. Both had just been through the end of relationships, which provided both common ground and writing material. Beggins had brought a ukulele from his father's instrument collection simply because it was small enough to comfortably pass around in a van (Beggins played accordion with The Migrant). By the end of the tour the two had written several songs and began recording their first album upon their return to Austin. To complete the sound they were seeking, they called in other local musicians and friends to help record, which eventually became the full Wild Child band.

Benjamin John Howard is an English singer-songwriter, musician and composer. His self-released debut EP Games in the Dark (2008) was followed by two more EPs, These Waters (2009) and Old Pine (2010). Signed to Island Records, his debut studio album came in 2011 titled Every Kingdom. The album reached number four on the UK Albums Chart and was certified double platinum by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). Howard later released two more EPs, Ben Howard Live (2011) and The Burgh Island E.P. (2012).

Bleachers is an American rock band from New Jersey and the official stage name of songwriter and record producer Jack Antonoff. Antonoff has been nominated for a Golden Globe Award and won six Grammy Awards, including the 2022 Grammy for Producer of the Year. Bleachers' rock music is heavily influenced by the late '80s, early '90s, and the high school-based films of John Hughes while still using modern production techniques. Their debut single "I Wanna Get Better" was released in February 2014, followed by three studio albums: Strange Desire (2014), Gone Now (2017), and Take the Sadness Out of Saturday Night (2021).

While on the road with his band, Fun, Antonoff began working on a new project during his time in different cities. For about a year he kept the project a secret until February 18, 2014, when the first single "I Wanna Get Better" was released along with the launch of Bleachers' website, social media profiles, and a selection of tour dates. News of Bleachers was first publicly announced in a Facebook post by Brooklyn music studio Mission Sound in May 2013.

Hudson Taylor is an Irish folk/Americana duo formed in 2011. The band comprises brothers Harry and Alfie Hudson-Taylor. They are currently signed to Rubyworks Records.

Kodaline are an Irish rock band. Originally known as 21 Demands, the band adopted their current name in 2012 to coincide with the changing of their music. The group comprises Steve Garrigan, Mark Prendergast, Vincent May and Jason Boland.

The Paper Kites are an Australian indie rock/folk rock band from Melbourne, Victoria. The band was formed in 2009 by lead vocalist/guitarist Sam Bentley and keyboardist/guitarist Christina Lacy. To date, the band has released five studio albums and four EPs. Their latest studio album, Roses, was released on 12 March 2021.

Family of the Year is an American indie rock band based in Los Angeles, California. It consists of members Joseph Keefe (vocals/guitar), Sebastian Keefe (drums/vocals), James Buckey (guitar/vocals), and Christina Schroeter (keyboard/vocals). Their music uses melodic male/female vocal harmonies and folktale-style lyrics. They are best known for their 2012 song "Hero", which was featured in Richard Linklater's 2014 film Boyhood and became a top 10 hit in Austria, Belgium, Germany, and Switzerland.

Though Family of the Year is currently based in Los Angeles, California, brothers Joseph and Sebastian Keefe were born in Massachusetts, spent their teenage years in Wales, and eventually moved to Martha's Vineyard. James Buckey is from Jacksonville, Florida, while Christina Schroeter is from Orange County, California. Prior to forming Family of the Year, members Joseph Keefe and Sebastian Keefe enjoyed local Boston success in previous bands Unbusted and The Billionaires.

Bear's Den are a British folk rock band from London, formed in 2012. The band consists of Andrew Davie (lead vocals, electric guitar, acoustic guitar) and Kevin Jones (vocals, drums, bass, guitar). Joey Haynes (vocals, banjo, guitar) left the band in early 2016. Since their 2016/2017 Tour in Europe and North America Joey has been replaced by the Dutch artist Christof van der Ven, not as an official member but as a session musician.

Bear's Den have released four studio albums: Islands (2014), Red Earth & Pouring Rain (22 July 2016), So that you might hear me (26 April 2019) and Blue Hours (13 May 2022). Islands peaked at number forty-nine on the UK Albums Chart. The band has also issued three EPs: Agape (2013), Without/Within (2013) and Only Son of the Falling Snow (2019). Their fourth album, Blue Hours, was released on 13 May 2022.

Walk the Moon is an American pop/rock band based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Lead singer Nicholas Petricca started the band in 2006, while a student at Kenyon College, deriving the band's name from the song "Walking on the Moon" by the Police. The band is notable for its charting hit singles "Anna Sun", "Shut Up and Dance", and "One Foot".

George Ezra Barnett is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist. After releasing two EPs, Did You Hear the Rain? (2013) and Cassy O' (2014), Ezra rose to prominence with the release of his hit single, "Budapest", which reached number one in several countries. His debut studio album, Wanted on Voyage, was released in June 2014, reaching number one in the UK and the top ten in seven other countries. It was also the third-best-selling album of 2014 in the UK.

The Wind and The Wave (stylized as The Wind + The Wave) is an American band composed of Dwight A. Baker and Patricia Lynn.

Dwight Baker and Patricia Lynn played their first show on July 4, 2013 in Austin, Texas, opening for Bob Schneider.

Previously, Lynn had been the lead singer of the Soldier Thread and Baker worked both in front of the microphone as well as in the recording studio for Alpha Rev, Brandi Carlile, Blue October, and Bob Schneider. In addition, Baker has also written music for Kelly Clarkson, and is the owner/operator of Matchbox Studios in Austin.

Signed to RCA Records in 2013, their debut album, From the Wreckage, was released on August 5, 2014.

The band's cover of "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol was featured on the episode, "She's Leaving Home", in season eleven of Grey's Anatomy. The placement propelled the cover song to the number one spot on Shazam's USA future hits chart.

Little Green Cars were an Irish indie rock band formed in Dublin in 2008. The band announced on 21 March 2019 that they were disbanding. In the wake of the band's breakup, several past members formed Soda Blonde.

John Dragonetti is an American composer, songwriter, and music producer based in Los Angeles, California. He is also a founding member of the band The Submarines.

Milo Greene is the debut studio album by Los Angeles-based band Milo Greene. It was released on July 17, 2012 and peaked at number 1 on the US Billboard Heatseekers Albums and number 115 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

The band recorded Milo Greene in California and at Bear Creek Studios in Seattle. The lead vocals, guitars, bass, and banjo parts were shared by band members Robbie Arnett, Marlana Sheetz, Andrew Heringer and Graham Fink. The group's fifth member, Curtis Marrero, played drums. Album closer "Autumn Tree" was the first song the band wrote. Arnett explained that at the time, "we were still in our other bands, and Andrew was living up in Sacramento, and I was in L.A., and I had sent him some lyrics, and said 'why don’t we try to experiment. I'll send you lyrics, and see if you can put some melodies over it.' He sent that back, so we started going back and forth with melodies, and that’s kind of how that one happened." Fink noted that creating songs for the album was "definitely a collaborative process" in which any number of band members would start an idea for a given song. Several brief interludes and instrumentals were included on the album, Arnett said, "because we wanted it to flow together like a film." One of these tracks, "Moddison", was named after a Sacramento street where Heringer lived. A music video for lead single "1957", also named after an address, premiered in advance of the album's July 2012 release.

The Young Romans are a pop/indie duo from Los Angeles, California. The duo consists of singer/piano-player Brad Hooks, and Chilean-born singer/guitar player Sari Mellafe. Although they each come from opposite ends of the musical spectrum - Brad with a penchant for perfectly constructed pop songs, and Sari for haunting and ethereal sounds - their songwriting styles meet in the middle to create a unique and beautiful balance.

In 2010, they were signed to producer Jim Roach (Producer)'s label Red Parade Music and released their first EP Yesterday Night. Over the next two years, the two worked in the studio with Jim further developing their sound until they were ready to release their first full-length album, Tiger Child.

Ohakune is a small town in the North Island of New Zealand, situated 215 kilometres (134 miles) north of Wellington and 292 kilometres (181 miles) south of Auckland. It is located at the southern end of the Tongariro National Park, close to the southwestern slopes of the active volcano Mount Ruapehu. Located within the Manawatū-Whanganui region, the town is 70 kilometres (43 miles) northeast of Whanganui and 25 kilometres (16 miles) west of Waiouru.

A rural service town known as New Zealand's Carrot Capital, Ohakune is a popular base in winter for skiers using the ski fields (particularly Turoa) of nearby Mount Ruapehu and in summer for trampers hiking the Tongariro Alpine Crossing.

Lily & Madeleine are an American folk pop duo from Indianapolis, Indiana, consisting of sisters Lily and Madeleine Jurkiewicz. They have released four full-length studio albums, Lily & Madeleine (2013) and Fumes (2014) on Asthmatic Kitty, Keep It Together (2016) and Canterbury Girls (2019) on New West Records.

Lily & Madeleine began singing together as high school students, uploading home videos of cover songs to YouTube. On the strength of those videos, Bloomington, Indiana producer Paul Mahern invited the two into his studio to record their debut EP, The Weight of the Globe, when their class schedule permitted.

With the help of Kenny Childers (Gentleman Caller), they co-wrote their first original songs for that EP, and video of Lily & Madeleine singing in Mahern's studio reached the front page of news aggregator Reddit. The Weight of the Globe was picked up for a 2013 release by Sufjan Stevens's Asthmatic Kitty Records, and John Mellencamp asked the sisters to contribute guest vocals to the soundtrack of his musical, Ghost Brothers of Darkland County.

James Vincent McMorrow is an Irish singer and songwriter.

McMorrow's debut album, Early in the Morning, was released in Ireland in February 2010, and in the United States and Europe in 2011, to widespread acclaim. He made his UK television debut on BBC Two's Later... with Jools Holland on 27 May 2011. He played with Lisa Hannigan on 8 December 2011 at Dublin's Button Factory for the Choice Music Prize event.

In 2011, he co-wrote the song "Shells of Silver" with Northern Irish electronic group The Japanese Popstars, and his vocals are featured. The song is featured in Season 5, Episode 7 of the CW teen drama Gossip Girl.

In 2014, he released his second album, Post Tropical, which included the song "Glacier". The song was used in the 2014 Spanish Christmas Lottery advertising campaign. The album was recorded in 2013 in the small desert town of Tornillo, 89 kilometres (55 mi) south of El Paso in Texas. The studio is located on a pecan farm, and McMorrow found the location "the most surreal place to work", and one that helped add to the tone of the album and inspire his creativity. He said "I think it's kind of engrained in the record, more than any pinpointed thing. I can hear the hot bedded air in this part. You can hear the birds in the pianos."
