When the bee Barry B. Benson (Jerry Seinfeld) graduates from college, he finds that he will have only one job for his entire life, and absolutely disappointed, he joins the team responsible for bringing the honey and pollination of the flowers to visit the world outside the hive. Once in Manhattan, he is saved by florist Vanessa Bloome (Renée Zellweger) and he breaks the bee law to thank Vanessa. They become friends and Barry discovers that humans exploit bees to sell the honey they produce. Barry decides to sue the human race, with destructive consequences to nature.

When a green ogre named Shrek discovers his swamp has been 'swamped' with all sorts of fairytale creatures by the scheming Lord Farquaad, Shrek sets out with a very loud donkey by his side to 'persuade' Farquaad to give Shrek his swamp back. Instead, a deal is made. Farquaad, who wants to become the King, sends Shrek to rescue Princess Fiona, who is awaiting her true love in a tower guarded by a fire-breathing dragon. But once they head back with Fiona, it starts to become apparent that not only does Shrek, an ugly ogre, begin to fall in love with the lovely princess, but Fiona is also hiding a huge secret.

2001 film directed by Andrew Adamson and Vicky Jenson

I am not feeling much better about this second one. The first two arcs, I thought, were alright. They even seemed to have something interesting to say. Then we got to the diarrhea. Yeah. I didn't need that. Nor many of the things that followed it. There was one more arc that I thought was interesting, but again ... with so much shit (pun TOTALLY intended) I can't imagine that the glimmerings I got from those arcs were purposeful. I have to step back for a moment, because I can't say these comics are "bad." They are definitely not my taste. To me, the humor seems very haphazard. There is no reason for any of the events happening in the story. I dunno ... five more issues left. Let's see what insanity awaits. Poor little Squee LOLSquee is a nervous little boy who lives in a frightening world. He is plagued by pretty much everything including strange adults, aliens from another world, and the crazy homicidal maniac who lives next door.
