Suzume (Japanese: すずめの戸締まり, Hepburn: Suzume no Tojimari, lit. "Suzume's Locking Up") is a 2022 Japanese animated fantasy adventure film produced by CoMix Wave Films and distributed by Toho. It depicts a high school girl and a mysterious young man trying to prevent a series of disasters across Japan. The film was commissioned in 2020, written and directed by Makoto Shinkai.
The film features the voices of Nanoka Hara and Hokuto Matsumura, with the character designs by Masayoshi Tanaka, animation direction by Kenichi Tsuchiya, art direction by Takumi Tanji, and music by Radwimps and Kazuma Jinnouchi.
Suzume was theatrically released in Japan in November 2022, and is scheduled to premiere internationally in April 2023.
Silver Spoon is a Japanese coming-of-age manga series written and illustrated by Hiromu Arakawa. It was serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday from April 2011 to November 2019. The story is set in the fictional Ooezo Agricultural High School in Hokkaido, and depicts the daily life of Yuugo Hachiken, a high school student from Sapporo who enrolled at Ooezo Agricultural High School fleeing from the demands of his strict father. However, he soon learns that life on an agricultural school is not as easy as he initially believed. Unlike his new classmates, he has no intention of following an agricultural career after graduating, although he envies them for already having set goals for their lives and the pursuit of their dreams.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a Japanese anime television series based on the manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. The anime television series adaptation by Ufotable was announced in Weekly Shōnen Jump on June 4, 2018. The series aired from April 6 to September 28, 2019, on Tokyo MX, GTV, GYT, and BS11. The series is directed by Haruo Sotozaki, and the series' characters were designed by Akira Matsushima. The show is written by various Ufotable staff members and produced by Hikaru Kondo. The show's music is composed by Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina.
