This Will Destroy You (abbreviated as TWDY) is an American post-rock band from San Marcos, Texas, formed in 2004. They typically compose lengthy atmospheric instrumental pieces, featuring layers of effects-laden guitar and a heavy usage of dynamics. Their fourth album Another Language, released in 2014, entered the Billboard Heatseekers Album Chart at number 7.

This Will Destroy You was formed by guitarists Jeremy Galindo and Christopher Royal King, bassist Raymond Brown and drummer Andrew Miller in San Marcos, Texas, in 2005. They had met through mutual friends, and played together in various different bands throughout high school before the lineup was finalized by around 2002.

The beginnings of ProgPower Europe started in November 1998 by René Janssen (mostly known from his activities for the Dutch Progressive Rock Pages) decided the time had come for a special event in the progressive metal scene. Collapse Under The Empire is a German instrumental post-rock duo from Hamburg. Founded in 2008, the group consists of Chris Burda and Martin Grimm. They have released eight studio albums and a number of EPs and singles.

Bereits ein Jahr nach der Gründung erschien 1996 das Album Instarmental, welches auf zwei Tonspuren aufgenommen wurde. Sowohl auf dieses als auch auf das 1998 folgende Album Soundtrack to an Individual Emotion Picture Mindmovie folgten zahlreiche Konzerte in der Schweiz und dem angrenzenden Ausland. Nach weiteren zwei Jahren erschien das dritte Studiowerk Zerotonine Days, auf welchem erstmals und ausnahmsweise auch ein Stück mit Gesang zu finden ist.

In den folgenden zwei Jahren befand sich Leech in einer ausgiebigen Phase des Experimentierens und es entstanden mehrere Projekte mit Gastmusikern aus den unterschiedlichsten musikalischen Richtungen. Diese Projekte wurden live präsentiert, jedoch nicht auf Tonträgern festgehalten. Aus dieser Phase heraus entwickelten sich die drei Gründungsmitglieder der Band in verschiedene Richtungen weiter und beschlossen, das Projekt für einige Zeit auf Eis zu legen. Im Sommer 2006 wurde das Projekt Leech wieder fortgeführt. Leech knüpfte dort an, wo sie vor der fünfjährigen Pause aufgehört hatten und widmeten sich ganz der experimentellen Instrumentalmusik. In dieser Zeit stieß auch Tobias Schläfli (Synthesizer) als festes Mitglied zur Band.
