Gravitas Recordings is an American record label founded in 2011 by Jesse Brede. It is an Austin, Texas based record label and creative collective that serves as a platform for international artists to showcase their work. The mantra of the multi-genre electronic music label, "doing good with good music," has become a way of life. Since its inception in 2011, Gravitas boasts over 156 releases from a selection of producers worldwide.

Zebbler is a visual artist, video jockey and the founder of Zebbler Studios, who is known for his work with Shpongle, EOTO, and Zebbler Encanti Experience. Zebbler first gained worldwide fame for the 2007 Boston Mooninite panic on January 31, 2007, and subsequent news conference. His first "Shpongletron" design earned him recognition as one of the first VJs to incorporate 3-D video mapping into his set designs.

Martin Stääf(born 13 November 1978), akaLiquid Stranger, is a Swedish-born electronic musician, described by Generation Bass as "the epitome of Transnational Dubstep covering everything from Latin, Asian, Eastern European and Jamaican Dancehall dubs." Martin Stääf is known for his experimental approach to composition where he merges genres to create a unique style of music. Martin Woods of Chillbase describes Liquid Stranger's music as a "unique blend of Ambience, Big Band Jazz, Dubstep and Psychedelica drizzled over electronic Dub Reggae grooves." Stääf lives in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Martin Stääf was born 13 November 1978 in Varberg on the Swedish West Coast. He started playing the piano and did classical piano concerts between the ages of 6–8. Stääf started experimenting with synthesizers in the mid 80s and abandoned the classical music world to spend the next 10 years producing his own material. Stääf states: ”I never thought about releasing any of my music until I was 17. Then, all of a sudden, it was time to get a job and I realized that there was nothing else I wanted to do at that time than making music.”

Lightning in a Bottle (LIB) is an annual music festival in the Central Valley region of California first held in 2006. It is presented by The Do LaB, which seeks to promote sustainability, social cohesion, and creative expression. The Do LaB has also created art installations for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California.

Scott Richard Weiland was an American singer and songwriter. Weiland was the lead singer of the rock band Stone Temple Pilots from 1989 to 2002 and 2008 to 2013, recording six albums with them. He was also lead vocalist of supergroup Velvet Revolver from 2003 to 2008 and recorded one album with supergroup Art of Anarchy. Weiland established himself as a solo artist as well, releasing four studio albums and collaborating with several musicians throughout his career.

Georg Klein is a sound, video and media artist and composer. Based in Berlin, he also lived in Rome, Los Angeles and Istanbul.

Mr. Bill is a clay figurine star of a parody of children's clay animation shows created by Walter Williams in 1974. "The Mr. Bill Show" got its start on Saturday Night Live as a series of Super 8 films sent in in response to the show's request for home movies during the first season. Mr. Bill's first appearance occurred on the February 28, 1976, episode. After five submitted films, Williams became a full-time writer for the show in 1978 and wrote more than 20 sketches based on Mr. Bill.

The Funk Hunters are a Canadian electronic music act and DJ duo based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Composed of members Nick Middleton and Duncan Smith, The Funk Hunters are recognized on the international dance scene for their future funk sound, which is a mix of old school soul, disco, funk and classic hip hop, deeply cross-pollinated with contemporary electronic dance music.

Truth, consisting of Tristan Roake and Andre Fernandez, is a dubstep production duo from Christchurch, New Zealand. They first rose in late 2007 when Mala of Digital Mystikz signed their debut single The Fatman / Stolen Children for his Deep Medi Musik label. The single was described by Boomkat as "dark and immaculately executed" and was released in early 2009 as Medi13x on 12" vinyl format.

Dauda Akanmu Epo-Akara (23 June 1943 – August 2005), a Yoruba musician from the historical city of Ibadan, was the main force behind the popular Yoruba music genre called were music.

The Human Experience is a 2008 documentary produced by Grassroots Films and directed by Charles Kinnane. The film tells the story of brothers Clifford and Jeffrey Azize and their travels as they search for answers to the question, "What does it mean to be human?". Their friends Michael Campo and Matthew Sanchez participate in some of the travels. The film is divided into three sections, covering the experiences of Jeffrey and his friends in New York, Peru, and Ghana. The Human Experience is rated PG-13.

Splendour in the Grass is an annual Australian music festival held at the North Byron Parklands in Yelgun, New South Wales. Since its inauguration, the festival has also been held in various locations near Byron Bay, New South Wales, and Woodford, Queensland.

Poranguí is a world music multi-instrumentalist known for solo improvisational live looping. Born in São José dos Campos, Brazil, he grew up in the cultures of Brazil (his mother), Mexico (his father) and the southwestern United States. He currently resides in Sedona, Arizona.

After high school, Poranguí spent a year studying in China and then teaching English through the use of music in Vietnam. Then while on scholarship to Duke University as a Coca-Cola Scholar, he created an interdisciplinary undergraduate major combining music, movement and medicine where he also earned the John Hope Franklin Student Documentary Award.

He has taught on the faculty of the Phoenix Conservatory of Music and was recognized as a Teaching Artist for the Arizona Commission on the Arts from 2008 to 2015.
