Download Festival is a British-created rock festival created by Terrance Gough, held annually at the Donington Park motorsport circuit in Leicestershire, England (since 2003); in Paris, France (since 2016); at Parramatta Park, Sydney (since 2019); and at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne (since 2018).

Download at Donington is the most popular British summer rock and heavy metal festival and has hosted some of the genre's biggest names, including Black Sabbath, Slipknot, Metallica, Linkin Park, Iron Maiden, Korn, Soundgarden, Motörhead, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Def Leppard, Kiss, Judas Priest, Rammstein, Status Quo, Mötley Crüe, Journey, ZZ Top, Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy, Saxon, Faith No More and Guns N' Roses.

"Farewell My Love" is a 1963 single by The Temptations for the Gordy (Motown) label. It was the last single that was written and produced by Motown president Berry Gordy for well over a decade, and the last released during the period of the "Original 5" lineup (before member Elbridge "Al" Bryant was fired). It is also noted as the group's last single to miss the Billboard pop chart's Top 40 until 1971's "It's Summer" (and the last to not make it on any U.S. music charts for the next 23 years). Up until now the group was jokingly referred to at this time as the "Hitless Temptations" by the Motown staff, much like their "sister" group, The Supremes, were called the "no-hit Supremes". However, their next single, the Smokey Robinson-produced "The Way You Do the Things You Do", would reach the Top 20 of the U.S. pop chart, breaking the group's streak of being "hitless".

Anavae are an English-rock duo from London, England. The group consists of Rebecca Need-Menear and Jamie Finch. Following their self-released EP Into the Aether, the band signed with English indie label LAB Records in 2013, releasing a second EP entitled Dimensions soon after.

Blameshift is a four-piece rock band from Long Island, New York that started in 2005. The band consists of Jenny Mann, Tim Barbour, Mike LaRoache and Jeff Mauer. The band is recognized for their work ethic, extensive touring history and high energy live show. In 2006 they recorded a self-released album, “Drop Down”. The release was followed by over 150 tour dates including three dates on the Warped Tour. In 2007 Blameshift recorded their second album. “The Test” with Michael Birnbaum and Chris Bittner. The album was nationally released through Smart Punk, F.Y.E, Hot Topic, and iTunes. Alternative Press named Blameshift as “Unsigned Band Of The Month” in August 2008. Blameshift won a contest through Taco Bell called “Feed The Beat” in 2008. Michael Birnbaum and Chris Bittner also produced the single, The Sirens Are Set in 2008. Blameshift toured through all of 2008 in the U.S. and Canada with And Then There Was You, and The Material on the Everlasting Sound Tour. At the start of 2009 producer Mike Watts demoed the bands’ Self Titled EP. With touring in between with Sky Tells All and The Material, the release of the EP was put on hold until February 2010. In May 2010 the band raised $5500 through Kickstarter to record with producer / engineer Erik Ron in Hollywood, California. In June 2010 the band signed with Restless Management out of Venice Beach, California.

Blacklisted is an American hardcore punk band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They have toured North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

The band formed in the early 2000s, and comprised George Hirsch (vocals), Jay Pepito (guitar), Tim Smith (bass), and Zach Trotta (drums). The band self-released their debut self-titled 7-inch EP in 2003. This led to a deal with the Stillborn label, and another EP, Our Youth Is Wasted. Pepito left to form Reign Supreme. The band then recorded a series of split releases for the Deathwish label, who also reissued the band's first two releases together as We're Unstoppable, described by PopMatters as "a furiously brief dose of old-school punk and hardcore dissonance". The band's release, No One Deserves To Be Here More Than Me, featured a stylistic turn to an early 90s grunge sound, abandoning most of the speed and favoring heavy, repetitive grooves.

Get Scared was an American post-hardcore band from Layton, Utah, United States, formed in 2008. After their formation they released their first EP Cheap Tricks and Theatrics in 2009. A self-titled EP followed several months later in 2010. The band's debut studio album, Best Kind of Mess, was released on July 12, 2011. Following Nicholas Matthews' first departure to join Blacklisted Me, the band released Cheap Tricks and Theatrics B-Sides on December 19, 2011, without any previous announcements. Matthews was replaced by Joel Faviere near the end of 2011. The band's third EP and first with Faviere, Built for Blame, Laced With Shame, was released in 2012; Faviere was kicked out a few months after the EP's release when Matthews rejoined the band. Following Matthews' comeback, the band signed with Fearless Records and released their second full-length album, Everyone's Out To Get Me, on November 11, 2013. The band's third studio album, Demons, was released on October 30, 2015, and marked a departure from the band's post-hardcore sound featured on Built for Blame and Everyone's Out to Get Me in favor of a more metalcore-like sound. Their fourth and final album, The Dead Days, was released on April 19, 2019 amidst a hiatus; it was later stated by vocalist Nicholas Matthews that the band had broken up due to multiple issues between the band members. As of 2022, the band hinted many times on their personal social media accounts about getting back together, and on November 9th 2022 the band was featured on a track with Stain The Canvas.

The Golden Age is the fourth studio album by British hardcore punk band Your Demise, Produced and Engineered by Matt O'Grady at his home studios in Woking Surrey. It was released on 26 March 2012 via Visible Noise in Europe and Distort Entertainment in Canada. The first single from the album, Forget About Me, was released on 3 January 2012; it is available for download from iTunes and the band's website.

The album features a number of guest vocalists, including Jason Butler of Letlive, Josh Franceschi of You Me at Six, Louis Gauthier of Breaking Point and Brutality Will Prevail, Ajay Jones formerly of Brutality Will Prevail, Theo Kindynis of Last Witness, Dannika Webber of Evarose and David Wood of Down to Nothing and Terror.

Courage My Love was a Canadian rock band from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Formed in 2009 the band consisted of twin sisters Mercedes Arn-Horn and Phoenix Arn-Horn in addition to bassist Brandon Lockwood.

"Blow Me Away" is a song by American rock band Breaking Benjamin. The song is a non-album single because it was written in 2004 specifically for the Halo 2 Original Soundtrack. It was later released in 2010 as a digital single. In 2011, a remixed version of the song was released on Shallow Bay: The Best of Breaking Benjamin, featuring vocals of Sydnee Duran from Valora. Written by vocalist and guitarist Benjamin Burnley and then-drummer Jeremy Hummel, the song is described as featuring "hard rock roots, ... a vocal-centric aesthetic, heavy electric rhythm guitars", and "an aggressive male vocalist".

Rocksmith 2014 is a music video game produced by Ubisoft. It is a followup to the 2011 game Rocksmith, but has been described as a replacement to the original game rather than a sequel. Like its predecessor, the game allows players to plug in virtually any electric guitar or bass guitar and play along via the use of a USB adapter – removing the need for any proprietary controller like other music games such as Guitar Hero. The game comes with 66 songs on disk, with over a thousand more available to download as paid DLC. It was announced at Ubisoft's 2013 E3 presentation and was released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC/Mac in October 2013, with versions for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releasing in November 2014.

Icon for Hire is an American rock band from Decatur, Illinois. Formed in 2007, the band's current lineup consists of singer Ariel Bloomer and lead guitarist Shawn Jump. They released two EPs independently before signing to Tooth & Nail Records, through which they released their first two albums: Scripted in 2011 and Icon for Hire on October 15, 2013. Their third album, You Can't Kill Us, was independently released on November 25, 2016. Their fourth album, Amorphous, was released on February 19, 2021, also independently. Their fifth independent studio album, The Reckoning, was released on September 30, 2022.

Avion Roe was an American rock band from Dallas, Texas formed in 2011.

They have released two full-length albums, and one EP, The Art of Fiction, and In Separation. their EP Into The Rest.

Avion Roe formed in 2011 by frontman Evan Couture and drummer Josh Cutlip after the disbanding of Red Car Wire (Universal Records) which they were in together. After adding their friends Sean Humphrey and Jordan Modro to the mix, the band knew this was the final lineup. Here on January 4, 2011 in Dallas, Texas, Avion Roe was formed.

Our band started on Jan 4th, 2011. We had thought we would be a five piece band but when we flew Jordan down to try out we knew we had it. We were immediately four brothers. We released our full length record in spring and jumped on the Vans Warped Tour. We shot a music video for our first single ‘Who I Am…’ and then jumped on a national tour with Madina Lake and Me Talk Pretty. We have had two songs on MTV and are shooting our second music video next week. This band is only beginning to unfold.

Falling in Reverse is an American rock band that formed in 2008 by lead vocalist Ronnie Radke while he was incarcerated. The band's original name was "From Behind These Walls", but it was quickly renamed to Falling in Reverse shortly after formation. They are currently signed to Epitaph Records.

The Relapse Symphony is an American rock band from Washington, DC. The group took an ambiguous hiatus in the summer of 2016. About two years later in the fall of 2018, the band returned for a sold out reunion concert in their hometown. The group has continued to perform new material since.

The Relapse Symphony began in 2012. They released their debut EP, "Time's Running Out", on December 4th of 2012 accompanied by a single and music video for "Panic! (Time's Running Out)" for promotion. Immediately spending the next two years touring and working on the follow-up full-length album. They released their dark-pop, hook-charged, debut album, "Shadows", on July 8th of 2014 via StandBy Records with music videos for "Savage Eyes" and "One More Yesterday" . This album cycle brought extensive touring for the band and also the exit of drummer, Tyler Gloyd. Guitarist Alex Foxx would move to drums and Ray Miller would fill his position as guitarist. In December 2014, the band released an Acoustic version of "Shadows", which would be the first release that Ray Miller would perform on. Bassist, Brandon Kile also left the band on amicable terms around this time. June 23rd of 2015 saw the release of a much more aggressive, biting Relapse Symphony with the second full-length album entitled: "Born to Burn". Singles, "Die Alone" and "Tear Me Down" would be released with the album. The band was put on the 2015 Vans Warped Tour, immediately followed by a somewhat public falling out with then-drummer Alex Foxx. The band finally rounded out the line-up for the tour with bassist and friend Adam Peters, and Tommy Vinton on drums to fill-in. After a successful run on Warped Tour, a new rhythm section including bassist, D Vought and drummer, Jonny "Jangy" Fruitman would be added to the band. In March of 2016 the band embarked on an East Coast run, which would also be their first headlining tour, called "Rock N' Roll Warriors" tour. After another West Coast tour in May/June of 2016, an exhausted TRS would return home for a hiatus.

The Nearly Deads are an American alternative rock band from Nashville, Tennessee, formed in 2010. The band consists of Theresa Jeane, Steven Tobi, Kevin Koelsch, Javier Garza Jr, Josh Perrone. Their self-titled debut EP, The Nearly Deads was released in 2011. They signed with Standby Records in June 2013 to release their second EP, Survival Guide, released on August 20 the same year. Their first full-length album, Invisible Tonight, was released on June 24, 2014.

Working with producer Jon King, the band released their first EP, The Nearly Deads, in 2011 and the song Never Look Back in particular proved popular, with the song's official music video receiving over 6 million views since its release. The band gained further prominence, winning the Converse Battle of the Bands at the Journey's Backyard BBQ in Nashville, reaching No. 14 on the Billboard Next Big Sound Chart, and performing on the Kevin Says Stage at Warped Tour in July 2012.

Hey Violet is an American pop rock band from Los Angeles, California, consisting of Rena Lovelis (lead vocals, bass), Nia Lovelis (drums, percussion, piano, keyboards, synthesizers, backing vocals) and Casey Moreta (lead and rhythm guitar, backing vocals).

Formed in 2008 as Cherri Bomb while its members were still in middle school, the band was originally an all-female hard rock group, consisting of Julia Pierce (lead vocals, lead guitar), Miranda Miller (rhythm guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), Rena Lovelis (bass, backing vocals), and Nia Lovelis (drums, percussion, backing vocals). In 2013, Pierce left the band and was later replaced by Casey Moreta. In 2015, the group changed their name to Hey Violet and drastically altered their sound. They later signed to Hi or Hey Records, founded by 5 Seconds of Summer, whom they supported on the Rock Out with Your Socks Out and Sounds Live Feels Live tours.

Rebecca Emily Hollcraft(born May 9, 1989) is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist, known professionally asBecca,Becca-chan, andBec Hollcraft. From 2012 to 2015, she was the lead singer in the rock band Stars in Stereo.

Hollcraft was born in Portland, Oregon. She began singing and writing songs at a young age and started playing guitar when she was 10 years old. When she was 13, a family friend recorded her at a choir event in school. The tape found its way to Meredith Brooks, who had been looking for a new artist to develop. "Bec has a powerhouse voice, and when I realized she could write songs, too… I was sold," said Meredith.

With the support of her parents, Hollcraft spent her summer vacation that year in Los Angeles with Meredith working on demos. In early 2008, Hollcraft signed a deal with Sony Music Entertainment Japan and released her first single "Perfect Me" on April 9, 2008 in Japan. The song was a featured theme song for the TV show,Damages,in its Japanese release (from April 2, 2008 to June 1, 2008). BECCA's debut five-song EP,Perfect Me, was released in Japan on June 4, 2008 with a second five-song EP, "Turn to Stone," released August 6, 2008. BECCA also contributed a cover of "I Drove All Night" to a Cyndi Lauper tribute-album that was released July 23, 2008.

The Dirty Youth are a British rock band from South Wales that formed in 2007. The band's lineup consists of singer Danni Monroe, guitarist/keyboardist Matt Bond, guitarist Luke Padfield, bassist Leon Watkins and drummer Jacob Moseley.

They have released 5 studio albums to date, Red Light Fix and Gold Dust via RMR Records. They have toured with the likes of Skindred, The Rasmus, Korn, Alien Ant Farm, InMe, Fozzy and have appeared at festivals such as Download Festival and Hard Rock Calling Festival.

The Dirty Youth was formed in August 2007 by Matt Bond (guitar) and Danni Monroe (vocals). Later that year the duo found Tom Hall (drums) on the Forming Bands website and the trio entered Nott-in-Pill Studios in Newport, Wales to start writing and recording. They played a few shows with Matt's old band mate Gareth Tucker on Bass.
