Based on true events 'Fish and Cat' centers around a group of students travelling to the Caspian region in order to participate in a kite-flying event during the Winter solstice. Next to their camp is a small restaurant, run by three cooks, who are just about to leave for a hunt. They are in desperate need of meat. However, there is nothing around, other than the students. Shahram Mokri's second feature combines formal experimentation with terror and a sly sense of humor, perfectly blended in this highly unusual piece of Iranian film history.

Now, he has to choose between his own life and his mother's whom he has always claimed as the most important one in his life.

'Deep Breath' is an Iranian urban slacker movie that follows the meanderings and random vandalism of two listless and alienated twenty-somethings from opposite ends of the social spectrum. Kamran, a college student, and Mansour, a petty thief, are from opposite ends of the social spectrum. Cool and carefree, they steal cars, snatch cell phones, smoke joints and drive aimlessly. When the boys pick up a hitchhiker, a chatty student named Ayda, her dynamic presence begins to rouse them from their terminal ennui. Punctuated with beautiful imagery and comic moments, Shahbazi paints a sympathetic yet unsparing picture of disaffected Iranian youth. Wry and bittersweet, Deep Breath is not to be missed. The film was shown at the Directors' Fortnight at Cannes Film Festival to great success. Among other accolades it won a FIPRESCI award at Pusan and the Jury special award at Turin as well as the Best Film award at the Belgrade Author Festival.

A group of former classmates of a University with their families plans to go for a picnic to the Caspian seashore where Sepideh, the organizer of the trip, invites Elly who is the Kindergarten teacher of her child to meet her other friend, Ahmad, returned from Germany. Elly hesitates to accept the invitation but later says ok. During the picnic a boy and Elly go missing.

"Gaslight" as Farsi farce. Kamran and Moluk, middle-aged siblings, live penniless in the family's Tehran mansion, selling furniture to pay expenses. The purpose of the charade, which will seem real to Forugh, is to drive her mad, perhaps to suicide, so that Kamran and Moluk can inherit the house. The play is elaborate, Forugh is fooled and terrified, and the police can't substantiate her wild claims. She appears insane to them. All is headed for the mysterious last act.

A remote brick manufacture factory produces bricks in an ancient way. Many families with different ethnicities work in the factory and the boss seems to hold the key to solving their problems. Forty-year-old Lotfollah, who has been born on-site, is the factory supervisor and acts as go-between for the workers and the boss. Boss has Lotfollah gather all the workers in front of his office. He wants to talk to them about the shutdown of the factory. All matters now to Lotfollah is to keep Sarvar unharmed, the woman he has been in love with for a long time.
