In This Moment is an American heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California, United States, formed by singer Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth in 2005. They found drummer Jeff Fabb and started the band as Dying Star. Unhappy with their musical direction, they changed their name to In This Moment and gained two band members, guitarist Blake Bunzel and bassist Josh Newell. In late 2005, bassist Newell left the band and was replaced by Pascual Romero, who in turn was quickly replaced by Jesse Landry. Landry was replaced by Kyle Konkiel in 2009 and Konkiel was replaced by Travis Johnson in 2010. Jeff Fabb and Blake Bunzel left the band in 2011, and were replaced by Tom Hane and Randy Weitzel respectively. In March 2016, drummer Tom Hane announced his departure from the band and it has been announced that he will be replaced by Kent Diimmel formerly of 3 By Design.

Killer Be Killed is an American heavy metal supergroup founded by Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist Greg Puciato and Soulfly frontman Max Cavalera in early 2011. The lineup also features Mastodon bassist and co-vocalist Troy Sanders and Converge drummer Ben Koller. The band had slowly been working on material before announcing its name in October 2013, along with their signing to Nuclear Blast. The group's self-titled debut record was released on May 13, 2014. On September 4, 2020, the group returned with a new single, and released their second album Reluctant Hero on November 20, 2020.

Blood Youth are a British hardcore punk band formed in Harrogate in 2014 by ex-Climates members Sam Bowden, Matt Powels, Chris Pritchard and Max Dawson, before recruiting ex-Book of Job lead vocalist Kaya Tarsus. After releasing their debut EP, Inside My Head, in 2015 and embarking on a short, headlining tour of their native UK to support it, drummer Matt Powels departed in late 2015 to become the drum tech for Neck Deep, he was followed by Bowden, who is now playing lead guitar in Neck Deep. In March 2016, the band released their second EP, Closure, accompanied by a music video for the title track. Later that year, they announced they had begun recording their debut album, which would be titled Beyond Repair, then being released on Rude Records on 7 April 2017.

Cane Hill is an American heavy metal band formed in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2011. The band consists of vocalist Elijah Witt, guitarist James Barnett, bassist Ryan Henriquez, and drummer Devin Clark.

Snotis an American alternative metal band from Santa Barbara, California. Formed in 1995, the band released their only studio albumGet Somewith founding vocalist Lynn Strait in 1997 and disbanded after his death in 1998. In 2008, the lineup of lead guitarist Mikey Doling, rhythm guitarist Sonny Mayo, bassist John Fahnestock and drummer Jamie Miller reunited. In 2009, a new band,Tons, was formed, with Brandon Espinoza as vocalist. As of February 2014, Snot has reformed again.

The band was formed by singer Lynn Strait, the former bassist of a local punk band, Lethal Dose, and guitarist Mikey Doling, formerly of Kronix. After building a strong following with performances in Los Angeles, Snot signed with Geffen Records, and began work on their debut album,Get Some, released on May 27, 1997. Although the album received positive critical notice, sales were disappointing.

Lotus Eater were a Scottish heavy metal band from Glasgow. Playing a style that puts a heavy emphasis on rhythm and downtuning, they have been cited by publications such as NME and Metal Hammer as helping to lead the new wave of heavy music in Britain alongside groups like Loathe and Holding Absence.

Rise of the Northstar is a French heavy metal and hardcore punk band from Paris. Formed in 2008, the band combines heavy metal, hip-hop, and hardcore punk with Japanese pop culture influences. The band currently consists of vocalist Vithia, lead guitarist Eva-B, rhythm guitarist Air One, bassist Yoru, and drummer Phantom with Vithia being the sole original member of the group. Rise of the Northstar has released two EPs, Tokyo Assault (2010) and Demonstrating My Saiya Style (2012), and two full-length albums, Welcame (2014) and The Legacy of Shi (2018).

Shattered Sun is an American metalcore band from Alice, Texas, formed in July 2005.

Originally formed in July 2005 by Daniel Trejo and Sebastian Ortiz. Bassist Steven King, drummer Nick Garcia and vocalist Clem Galindo were added later that year. Later, Ortiz, Galindo and Nick Garcia would be replaced by Steven Garcia, Rudy Leal and Marcos Leal in 2006. They put out their first EP "The Lost Cause" in December 2006. In 2007, Steven Garcia left the band and was replaced with drummer Robert Garza. In August, they went to record with Ken Susi and put out "Endless Struggle". In 2009, Rudy Leal and King left the band. Also, they recorded another EP "Through Ashes" late 2009. Garza left in 2010, which led the band to be on hiatus. Marcos Leal went on to join Caldera, which included Joseph Guajardo and Hector Villareal. While Trejo took time off from the band, Garza returned in December 2010 and talks about starting the band up again was in play. In early 2011, Shattered Sun officially reformed in 2011 with the joining of Guajardo, Villareal and Henry Garza. They went on to record "Confessions" EP with producer Robert Beltran at Precision Studios in 2011. They soon made a video for their song "Any Means" and that is when things took off for the band. After the release of Confessions on March 31, 2012 the band played heavily promote it including an early 2012 tour with Memories In Broken Glass, immediately followed by a tour with Spineshank and Mureau.

Light the Torch is an American metalcore supergroup formed in Los Angeles in 2012. They are currently signed to Nuclear Blast Records and have released four albums: two under the "Devil You Know" moniker and two under the "Light the Torch" name.

Terror Universal is an American heavy metal supergroup consisting of current and former members of Soulfly, Upon a Burning Body and Ill Nino. Their first single, "Welcome to Hell", comes from their debut EP, Reign of Terror. The EP was released on February 27, 2015, in Australia and New Zealand via 3 Wise/Sony.

Okilly Dokilly were an American heavy metal band from Phoenix, Arizona, United States, that played "Nedal" music; a subgenre of metal music themed around the animated character Ned Flanders from the television series The Simpsons. All four of the band's members performed dressed as Flanders, and the majority of the lyrics to their songs are quotes of his.

Ded (stylized as DED) is an American nu metal band from Tempe, Arizona made up of members from Greeley Estates and Man Made Machine. The band released its debut track "FMFY" in December 2016 with production by John Feldmann. Ded followed up with its first radio single "Anti-Everything" on February 3, 2017 with an exclusive premiere on Sirius XM Octane.

The origins of the ensemble can be traced to Arizona band The Cover Up. Lead vocalist Joe Cotela stated that things with The Cover Up were approaching a standstill, and that they were performing music influenced by Every Time I Die. Because the band was dissatisfied with Epic Records not properly promoting the album, the band decided to move on.
