Hanson was born and raised in Onalaska, Wisconsin. She was inspired to become a singer by Justin Bieber and, at 14, she and a friend began posting cover songs on YouTube, hoping to follow Bieber's path.

Hanson released a video for the song in March 2018, directed by Similar But Different, who assembled an all-female crew for the shoot. In April 2018, "Only One" was averaging 400,000 streams daily.

Trevor Christensen (born 12 May 1993), known professionally as Said the Sky, is an American electronic dance music producer, DJ and musician.

At the age of 8, Christensen went for piano lessons which he had disliked. He quit the lessons after several years but later rejoined it while he was in middle school, along picking up other instruments to learn. He first got into electronic dance music by learning about the production at a Digital Audio Production class in high school.

Christensen uses Ableton Live to produce music. Previously, he used Logic Pro. He attended Berklee College Of Music where he took a lot of beginner/intermediate courses such as music theory, ear training and lessons, prior to launching the 'Said the Sky' project, despite failing to participate in their production program.

Hey Violet is an American pop rock band from Los Angeles, California, consisting of Rena Lovelis (lead vocals, bass), Nia Lovelis (drums, percussion, piano, keyboards, synthesizers, backing vocals) and Casey Moreta (lead and rhythm guitar, backing vocals).

Formed in 2008 as Cherri Bomb while its members were still in middle school, the band was originally an all-female hard rock group, consisting of Julia Pierce (lead vocals, lead guitar), Miranda Miller (rhythm guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), Rena Lovelis (bass, backing vocals), and Nia Lovelis (drums, percussion, backing vocals). In 2013, Pierce left the band and was later replaced by Casey Moreta. In 2015, the group changed their name to Hey Violet and drastically altered their sound. Ellise Chappell (born 21 March 1992) is an English actress. She is best known for her roles as Morwenna Chynoweth in Poldark and as Jennifer Strange in The Last Dragonslayer.

Chappell was born and raised in rural Warwickshire, her mother was an artist, her father runs a creative agency, while her elder brother went on to be a video choreographer. She was educated at The King's High School for Girls, a private school for girls in Warwick. After completing her time at school she applied for Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and Guildhall School of Music and Drama; however, she was unsuccessful in the applications. Olivia Rebecca Devine (born 21 June 1997), known professionally as L Devine, is an English singer and songwriter. After signing with Warner Bros.
