Rings of Saturn is an American deathcore band from the Bay Area, California. The band was formed in 2009 and was originally just a studio project. However, after gaining a wide popularity and signing to Unique Leader Records, the band formed a full line-up and became a full-time touring band. Rings of Saturn's music features a highly technical style, heavily influenced by themes of alien life and outer space. They have released six full-length albums, with their third, Lugal Ki En, released in 2014 and peaking at 126 on the American Billboard 200 chart while their fourth, Ultu Ulla was released in 2017 and peaked at 76 on the Billboard 200, making it the band's highest peak to date. Gidim was released in October 2019.

Sumerian Records is an American independent record label based in Washington D.C. and Los Angeles. The label was founded in 2006 by Ash Avildsen. Fellsilent became the first non-US band to be signed to the label, in 2008. Sumerian's roster includes a number of progressive metal bands, notably in the djent subgenre.

They have signed artists such as Black Veil Brides, Poppy, and Palaye Royale.

Nine Below Zero are an English rock band, who have a cult following throughout Europe. They became popular during the period 1980–1982 and are still performing currently throughout the UK, Scandinavia and Europe as of 2022.

Arsonists Get All the Girls is an American metal band from Santa Cruz, California. Founded in 2005, the band is known for its spastic influence from varying genres, particularly in their early years for fusing extreme metal with various electronic music styles. They were previously signed to Century Media Records and have released five full-length studio albums: Hits from the Bow, The Game of Life, Portals, Motherland, and Listen to the Color.

Arsonists Get All the Girls was founded in Santa Cruz, California, during mid-2005. The band headed to the studios to record with Zach Ohren (Animosity, Taste of Blood, Entragian, MORIA, etc.) at Castle Ultimate, in Oakland to record 'The Game of Life.' The band first wanted to develop a sound similar to Horse the Band. In November 2007, bassist Patrick Mason died of alcohol poisoning.

Wretched is an American extreme metal band from Charlotte, North Carolina founded by Marshall Wieczorek and Steven Fundenburk in 2005. Wretched's musical style incorporates elements of melodic death metal, deathcore, and technical death metal.

Wretched started in 2005 under the name And Since Forgotten as a collaboration between Marshall Wieczorek, Paul McClendon, and Steven Funderburk, who started playing together and looking for new members to start a music group. They recruited JC Lawrence and Josh Simpson and started playing local shows in North Carolina, quickly gaining a local following. They were noticed by Victory Records and were offered a contract in 2008, writing their first record, The Exodus Of Autonomy.

The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza was an American mathcore band from Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The band was founded in Monroe, Louisiana by members Layne Meylain, Mason Crooks, Brad Thompson, and Mike Butler. They relocated to Murfreesboro, TN to look for a frontman and found Jessie Freeland.

Born of Osiris is an American progressive metalcore band formed in 2003 in Palatine, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Ronnie Canizaro, lead guitarist Lee McKinney, rhythm guitarist/bassist Nick Rossi, drummer Cameron Losch, and keyboardist/vocalist Joe Buras. Born of Osiris has played at various festivals including the Summer Slaughter Tour (2008, 2009, 2015 and 2018) and the Music as a Weapon Tour 4.

The group underwent several name changes, including Diminished (2003–2004), Your Heart Engraved (2004–2006), and Rosecrance (2006–2007), before finally settling on Born of Osiris in 2007, basing the name on the Egyptian deity Osiris and the tale of his son Horus.

Within the Ruins is an American metalcore band formed in Westfield, Massachusetts in 2003. The group currently consists of guitarist Joe Cocchi, drummer Kevin McGuill, bassist Paolo Galang, and vocalist Steve Tinnon. They are currently signed to eOne Music and Good Fight Music. The band has released six studio albums and three EPs.

Within the Ruins founding members Joe Cocchi and Kevin McGuill started the band during 2003. The band went through some line-up changes and finally began working on their first self-released EP entitled Driven by Fear which was completed in 2005. Followed by the release, the band began touring in late 2006 in an effort to gain exposure and label recognition. With the release of their second EP Empires through Innerstrength Records the band received an offer from Victory Records. The band's debut studio album Creature was released in February 2009, followed by their second studio album entitled Invade. Invade was released in September 2010, selling over 3000 copies in its first week. The band has most recently toured Europe with Carnifex and has been part of a number of 2011-12 festivals thus far including the Bonecrusher Fest, the Jamboree, New England Metal and Hardcore Festival, the Bamboozle, South by Southwest and 2011's the Summer Slaughter Tour. In support of the Summer Slaughter Tour the band released a 4-song EP entitled Omen. The EP consists of 2 new original songs and a cover of Metallica's "Fight Fire with Fire" and Kansas' "Carry On Wayward Son". In 2013 the band signed with new label eOne Entertainment and released the third studio album called Elite.

Iwrestledabearonce was an American metalcore band formed in 2007 in Shreveport, Louisiana. In their nine years together, they released one EP, four full-length albums, and two remixed releases.

Veil of Maya is an American metalcore band, formed in Chicago, Illinois, by members Marc Okubo and Sam Applebaum in 2004. They are currently signed to Sumerian Records and have released six studio albums. Their first four albums are considered to be deathcore, but their fifth album, Matriarch, is considered to be metalcore. They have also been associated with djent.

Deadwater Drowning was an American deathcore band formed in 2002 in Brookline, New Hampshire. It is notable for the myriad of groups affected when the band broke up in 2004 and its members splintered into various other groups such as The Acacia Strain, The Red Chord, and Through the Eyes of the Dead. Guy Kozowyk of The Red Chord cited the band as his inspiration to start his record label Black Market Activities, whose second release was the band's sole output.

Whitechapel is an American deathcore band from Knoxville, Tennessee. The band is named after the Whitechapel district in East London, England, where Jack the Ripper committed a series of murders. The group comprises vocalist Phil Bozeman, guitarists Ben Savage, Alex Wade, and Zach Householder and bassist Gabe Crisp. Founded in 2006 by Bozeman and Savage, the band has released eight studio albums and fourteen music videos, and are currently signed to Metal Blade Records. Whitechapel's 2010 album A New Era of Corruption, sold around 10,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release and debuted at position No. 43 on the Billboard 200 chart. The band's self-titled fourth album was released in 2012 and debuted at No. 47 on the Billboard 200, selling roughly 9,200 copies in its first week. In 2014 the band released their fifth full-length album, Our Endless War to generally positive reviews. The album sold roughly 16,000 copies in its first week and debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200. They released their sixth full-length album Mark of the Blade in 2016 to greater critical acclaim, selling roughly 8,000 copies in the first week of its release. In 2019, Whitechapel released their seventh album, The Valley, which debuted at No. 143 on the Billboard 200 also to critical acclaim. Their newest album, Kin, was released on October 29, 2021.

Thy Art Is Murder is an Australian deathcore band from Blacktown, Sydney, that formed in 2006. The band consists of vocalist Chris "CJ" McMahon, guitarists Sean Delander and Andy Marsh, drummer Jesse Beahler and bassist Kevin Butler. Thy Art Is Murder has released five studio albums since formation.

Their 2008 EP Infinite Death, reached position no. 10 on the AIR Charts upon release, and their second full-length album Hate debuted at no. 35 on the ARIA Charts, making them the first extreme metal band to ever reach the Top 40 of this chart. The album also reached no. 1 on AIR and both no. 2 and no. 4 respectively on the US and Canadian iTunes metal charts on its week of release.

The band's following albums Holy War (June 2015) and Dear Desolation (August 2017) charted on US Billboard 200. Human Target was released in July 2019.

Toshihiro Egawa is a Japanese artist who created many album covers, merchandise and logo for extreme metal bands. He was born and lives in Osaka, Japan.

King Conquer was an American deathcore band from Naples, Florida. Since the band's inception, they released two EPs independently before being signed to Mediaskare Records where the group released their debut album entitled America's Most Haunted on November 23, 2010. The band's second album, titled 1776, was released on July 16, 2013.

Ghostfest was an extreme metal and hardcore punk festival in Leeds, England, that first took place at The Cockpit across two days in August 2005, returning in 2006. It brought together the UK's underground metal and hardcore music, along with metal and hardcore bands from Europe and America. There was no Ghostfest in 2007, but it returned every year from 2008 until 2015 and became a household name in the European indoor metal and hardcore scene, growing to ten times its original capacity since its inception in 2005 and selling out nearly every year in advance until 2015.

The first Ghostfest took place on Saturday 13 August and Sunday 14 August at the Leeds Cockpit on its smaller stage due to the main stage being unavailable. 18 of the underground metal and hardcore acts played. It was priced at £15 for a two-day pass. The whole festival was shot and released as a DVD which, to this day, the organisers have still not paid for the production of.

After the Burial is an American progressive metal band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. They are currently signed to Sumerian Records and have released five of their six full-length albums through the label. Since their inception in 2004, the band has gone through two vocalist changes, two drummer changes, the departure and death of founding rhythm guitarist Justin Lowe, and the departure of bassist Lerichard Foral. Lead guitarist Trent Hafdahl remains the sole remaining founding member. They are considered key contributors to the development of subgenres such as djent and progressive metalcore.

Molotov Solution is an American deathcore band from Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. They are notable for their politically charged lyrics, which include themes of government conspiracies and world issues. The band announced their hiatus on June 13, 2012, but has since reformed.

Molotov Solution was founded during 2004, the group's first release, The Path to Extinction was finished and released in 2005 and again in 2006 the band provided one half of a split release album with War from a Harlots Mouth.
