Aware Records is an American record label. The label has worked with a range of artists, including John Mayer, Train, Five for Fighting, Mat Kearney, and Guster.

Alexander George Goot (born March 15, 1988, Poughkeepsie, New York) is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist from New York City. His channel, GootMusic, is the 1582nd most watched channel on YouTube. He plays acoustic guitar, bass guitar, piano, drums and other instruments.

Goot began recording music in 2004 at the age of 16 and since then has gained popularity from his profiles on various social network sites as well as his own website, from which he distributes some of his music and provides news and regular updates. His time is almost all spent in his home studio self-producing all audio and video for his releases, or touring the world.

Goot released his first studio album In Your Atmosphere, which was made possible by his fans via an extremely successful Kickstarter campaign. His YouTube channel has about 3,000,000 subscribers and his videos have been viewed over 330 million times. His celebrity rank has fallen and he is now ranked in the 400's among subscribers and 800's in views.

Oh Honey was an American indie pop band from Brooklyn, New York, formed by singer-songwriters Mitchy Collins and Danni Bouchard. Their touring live band consisted of drummer Rob Ernst, guitarist Ian Holubiak, and bassist Shaun Savage. Oh Honey described itself as a blend of folk pop, indie pop, and pop music.

Mitchy Collins started Oh Honey as a project following his associations with the Kin and Outasight. Looking for a female vocalist, he met Danni Bouchard through a mutual friend.

Oh Honey began recording in Brooklyn, NY as a group in April 2013, releasing its first single in September 2013. The band is named after both the "Oh Honey" episode of How I Met Your Mother and the artisan, rooftop honey production movement in Brooklyn. Oh Honey's EP, With Love, was released independently in November 2013 and was well-reviewed.

"Gracias a la vida" is a song written, composed and performed by Chilean Violeta Parra, one of the artists who was part of the movement and musical genre known as the Nueva Canción Chilena. Parra composed "Gracias a la vida" in La Paz in 1966. It was included on Las Últimas Composiciones, the last album Parra published before committing suicide in 1967. The song is one of Parra's most renowned. It is performed throughout the world and remains one of the most covered Latin American songs in history.

BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend (previously known as One Big Weekend, for 2012 as Radio 1's Hackney Weekend, and for 2018 as BBC Music's Biggest Weekend) is a music festival run by BBC Radio 1. It is held once a year, in a different location within the United Kingdom each time. It was the biggest free-ticketed music event in Europe, until a fee for tickets was introduced in 2018, and always includes a host of new artists.

The festival is a spin-off of Radio 1's "One Big Sunday", where in each Sunday during July and August, a different town would host the roadshow, usually next to a beach or in a large park. These were also free, but non-ticketed. Both events are successors to the Radio 1 Roadshow which toured the country during every summer from 1973 until the 1990s.

Pentatonix (abbreviated PTX) is an American a cappella group from Arlington, Texas, currently consisting of vocalists Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola, and Matt Sallee. Characterized by their pop-style arrangements with vocal harmonies, basslines, riffing, percussion, and beatboxing, they produce cover versions of modern pop works or Christmas songs, sometimes in the form of medleys, along with original material. Pentatonix formed in 2011 and subsequently won the third season of NBC's The Sing-Off, receiving $200,000 and a recording contract with Sony Music. When Sony's Epic Records dropped the group after The Sing-Off, the group formed its YouTube channel, distributing its music through Madison Gate Records, a label owned by Sony Pictures. Their YouTube channel currently has 19.8 million subscribers and 5.7 billion views. The group's video tribute to Daft Punk had received more than 364 million views as of November 17, 2022.

Morgan Taylor Reid is a Grammy Award nominated music producer, singer-songwriter and recording artist based in Los Angeles. As an artist, Reid's music has been licensed for television including his song "Brighter" that was featured in the Season 7 finale of Grey's Anatomy, his song "Simply Human" featured on House (Season 8, Episode 9 FOX) and his song "Where Do I Even Start?" featured in Season 8, Episode 8 of Grey's Anatomy. After being featured on Grey's Anatomy, "Where Do I Even Start?" reached #74 on the Top 100 Alternative Songs on iTunes.

As a songwriter and record producer, Reid has worked with several artists including the Backstreet Boys. Reid wrote and produced five songs on the Backstreet Boys album In A World Like This including their single "Show 'Em (What You're Made Of)". Reid also produced their holiday single "It's Christmas Time Again", which he wrote with Backstreet Boys members Nick Carter and Howie Dorough along with songwriter Mika Guillory.

Jasmine Ying Thompson (born 8 November 2000) is an English singer. She began her career at the age of ten by filming herself singing and uploading the videos to YouTube. In 2014, she was featured on German deep house producer Robin Schulz's song "Sun Goes Down", which charted within the top 10 in multiple countries including Australia, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. As of March 2019, her YouTube channel has amassed over 3.3 million subscribers and over 570 million views.

Her acoustic cover version of Chaka Khan's original "Ain't Nobody" reached number 32 on the UK Singles Chart in 2013; this success led to the song being featured in an advertisement by Sainsbury's. The remixed version from Thompson was then remixed again by DJ Felix Jaehn—as "Ain't Nobody (Loves Me Better)"—in 2015 and became a huge hit, peaking at number two in the UK, and charting in several other countries. Her voice has been described as "eerie", "soft", and "incandescent".

Andrew John Hozier-Byrne, known mononymously as Hozier, is an Irish musician, singer, and songwriter. His music primarily draws from folk, soul, and blues, often using religious and literary themes. He had his international breakthrough after releasing his debut single "Take Me to Church", which has been certified multi-platinum in several countries.

Eurythmics were a British pop duo consisting of Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart. They were both previously in The Tourists, a band which broke up in 1980. The duo released their first studio album, In the Garden, in 1981 to little success, but went on to achieve global acclaim when their second album Sweet Dreams , was released in 1983. The title track became a worldwide hit, reaching No.2 in the UK Singles Chart and No. 6 in Australia, before hitting No. 1 in Canada and the US Billboard Hot 100. The duo went on to release a string of hit singles and albums, including "Love Is a Stranger", "There Must Be an Angel " and "Here Comes the Rain Again", before they split up in 1990.

Flannelgraph (also called flannel board or flannelgram) is a storytelling system that uses a board covered with flannel fabric, usually resting on an easel. It is very similar to Fuzzy Felt, although its primary use is as a storytelling medium, rather than as a toy.

The flannel board is usually painted to depict a background scene appropriate to the story being told. Paper cutouts of characters and objects in the story are then placed on the board, and moved around, as the story unfolds. These cutouts are backed, either with flannel, or with some other substance that adheres lightly to the flannel background, such as coarse sandpaper.

Plain, undecorated flannel boards can also be used as a visual aid during presentations, allowing the speaker to display and remove charts and graphs as needed.

George Ezra Barnett is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist. After releasing two EPs, Did You Hear the Rain? (2013) and Cassy O' (2014), Ezra rose to prominence with the release of his hit single, "Budapest", which reached number one in several countries. His debut studio album, Wanted on Voyage, was released in June 2014, reaching number one in the UK and the top ten in seven other countries. It was also the third-best-selling album of 2014 in the UK.

BNE is an anonymous graffiti artist known for stickers that read "BNE" or "BNE was here". He has left his mark in countries throughout the world, including the United States, Canada, Asia, Australia, Europe, and South America. "His accent and knowledge of local artists suggest he is from New York."

In May 2006, the San Francisco Police Department noted BNE's stickers appearing on public property across the city. As a result of the broken windows theory, Gavin Newsom, the mayor of San Francisco, offered a $2,500 reward for information leading to BNE's arrest. Peter F. Vallone Jr., chairman of the New York City Council Public Safety Committee, has called him "an unrepentant criminal who has cost honest taxpayers a lot of money".

Gabrielle Ann Aplin (born c. October 1992) is an English singer-songwriter. After amassing a following for her acoustic music covers on YouTube, Aplin signed a recording deal with Parlophone in February 2012. She rose to prominence the following November when she was selected to record the soundtrack for a John Lewis television commercial with a cover of Frankie Goes to Hollywood's "The Power of Love", which went on to top the UK Singles Chart.

Her debut album, English Rain, was released in May 2013 to positive reviews. It debuted at number two on the UK Album Chart and led to more singles: "Please Don't Say You Love Me", "Panic Cord", "Home" and "Salvation". English Rain has since been certified Gold in the UK, selling over 100,000 copies. Aplin's second album, Light Up the Dark, was released in September 2015, followed by the release of her third album, Dear Happy, in January 2020. She has also released multiple extended plays throughout her career.

Marie Hsiao (born November 1, 1993), better known as Mree, is an American indie folk singer-songwriter. She is of Taiwanese and Bulgarian descent. Mree began writing her own songs at the age of 14 and released her debut studio album, Grow, in October 2011. The album debuted at No. 18 on the iTunes Singer-Songwriter Chart. She is currently married to Henri Bardot.

Above & Beyond are an English electronic music group consisting of Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamäki. Formed in 2000, they are the owners of London-based electronic dance music labels Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep, and also host a weekly radio show titled Group Therapy Radio. The trio has been consistently ranked among DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs Poll, having placed at No. 6 in 2007, No. 4 in 2008 & 2009, No. 5 in 2010 & 2011, No. 51 in 2018, No. 22 in 2019 and most recently No. 19 in 2020.

Grant and Siljamäki met at the University of Westminster. Having discovered a common mutual interest for electronic music, they decided to collaborate in writing music together. Following Siljamäki's suggestion, they set up the Anjunabeats label in the summer of 1999 with the release of their first single, "Volume One", under the alias Anjunabeats. Initially, the Anjunabeats record label was founded as a medium to release their own music. Since the label acquired the same name as their production alias, however, they started to release music under different names, most notably as Dirt Devils and Free State.

Kina Kasuya Grannis is an American guitarist, singer and YouTuber. Grannis was the winner of the 2008 Doritos Crash the Super Bowl contest, earning a recording contract with Interscope Records and having her music video played during the commercials of Super Bowl XLII on February 3, 2008.

Ohakune is a small town in the North Island of New Zealand, situated 215 kilometres (134 miles) north of Wellington and 292 kilometres (181 miles) south of Auckland. It is located at the southern end of the Tongariro National Park, close to the southwestern slopes of the active volcano Mount Ruapehu. Located within the Manawatū-Whanganui region, the town is 70 kilometres (43 miles) northeast of Whanganui and 25 kilometres (16 miles) west of Waiouru.

The New Zealand Ministry for Culture and Heritage gives a translation of "place of care" for Ohakune.

A rural service town known as New Zealand's Carrot Capital, Ohakune is a popular base in winter for skiers using the ski fields (particularly Turoa) of nearby Mount Ruapehu and in summer for trampers hiking the Tongariro Alpine Crossing.
