The story centers on the adventures of a Ukrainian novice musician Kuzma and his friend Bard, who set out on their trip to Berlin in a rusty "Pobeda" car. Kuzma wants to exchange his old car for a "Mercedes 600" with a German collector in order to impress Barbara, the girl he is in love with. But the hectic nightlife of the German capital involves the hero in stunning adventures that change his purpose, hardens his character and helps him find his true self.

First in the Soviet occupation and the persecution of the Polish family, then, by the Nazi occupation of Ukraine, and the decimation of the Jewish family. Sacrificing their lives the Ukrainian family manage to save their neighbours' children and their own daughter. Death and loss come to these families, but the healing power and joy , and a promise that the Future Will Not be Cancelled which "Carol of the Bells' evokes will be everlasting.

Plot 1. Myshko and Lev are fellow villagers. Due to different reasons, they are aboard a Ukrainian Navy ship U311 "Cherkasy" stationed at the port of the Donuzlav Lake in the Crimea. While the crew of the minesweeper "Cherkasy" conducting military training and naval exercises, the Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych flees the country and the Crimea is occupied by the "little green men". The ship is returning to its base but the port is already lost. "Cherkasy" and several Ukrainian ships are blocked in the Donuzlav Lake by Russian army. Ukrainian ships surrender in single file and only the "Cherkasy" crew resists and keeps fighting a brave yet desperate struggle against the enemy. Plot 2. February 2014. Constructing this film through random scenes, director Harmony Korine abruptly jettisoned any sort of narrative plot, so here we go: Solomon and Tummler are two bored teenage boys who live in Xenia, Ohio. A few years ago, a tornado swept through it, destroying more than half the town and killing the same amount, including Solomon's father. The film, from there, chronicles the anti-social adventures these two boys have. These include sniffing glue, killing cats, having sex, riding dirtbikes, listening to black metal, and meeting a cavalcade of quirky, bizarre, and scary people. These include a man who pimps his mentally ill wife to our anti-heroes, three sisters who play with their cat and practice becoming strippers, a black midget fending off the sexual advances of a troubled man (played by the director Harmony Korine), a 12-year-old gay transvestite who is also a cat killer, Solomon's mother who seems to be the only glimpse of sanity, two foul-mouthed six-year olds, and most importantly, a nymphlike skateboarder who walks around town wearing pink rabbit ears.
