In The Woods Festival is an annual independent music festival in England which focuses on promoting up and coming talent in the music industry and the arts. The festival is set in private woodland in Kent and usually takes place on the first full weekend of September, commencing on the Friday afternoon for two days and nights. It is hosted and curated by the band Laurel Collective and organised with friends Tim Adam-Smith and Will Brown.
The first event was held in 2006 as a party for friends with 80 people attending and has subsequently grown to a capacity of 1000, a size which the organisers wish to keep the same. The location of the festival is undisclosed to the public and is only revealed to guests attending shortly before the festival starts. Since 2009, In The Woods has been compered by Xfm's John Kennedy.
Fairground Saints are a country music trio from Santa Barbara, CA. Their hits include "Somewhere Down the Line”, “California”, “Turn This Car Around” and “Can’t Control the Weather.”
The band was started by Mason Van Valin who wanted to expand from a solo act to a group. He posted an ad on Facebook and Elijah Edwards answered the ad. They eventually would meet Megan McAllister through YouTube. They were signed initially to Verve Records in 2014. After the label changed leadership they released new music through The Orchard.
They released their self-titled album for Verve in 2015. The album includes the hit “Turn This Car Around” which was premiered on NPR. The album’s second single “Can’t Control the Weather” was premiered on Paste Magazine on September 21, 2015.
Alexander George Goot (born March 15, 1988, Poughkeepsie, New York) is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist from New York City. His channel, GootMusic, is the 1582nd most watched channel on YouTube. He plays acoustic guitar, bass guitar, piano, drums and other instruments.
Goot began recording music in 2004 at the age of 16 and since then has gained popularity from his profiles on various social network sites as well as his own website, from which he distributes some of his music and provides news and regular updates. His time is almost all spent in his home studio self-producing all audio and video for his releases, or touring the world.
Goot released his first studio album In Your Atmosphere, which was made possible by his fans via an extremely successful Kickstarter campaign. His YouTube channel has about 3,000,000 subscribers and his videos have been viewed over 330 million times. His celebrity rank has fallen and he is now ranked in the 400's among subscribers and 800's in views.
Oh Honey was an American indie pop band from Brooklyn, New York, formed by singer-songwriters Mitchy Collins and Danni Bouchard. Their touring live band consisted of drummer Rob Ernst, guitarist Ian Holubiak, and bassist Shaun Savage. Oh Honey described itself as a blend of folk pop, indie pop, and pop music.
Mitchy Collins started Oh Honey as a project following his associations with the Kin and Outasight. Looking for a female vocalist, he met Danni Bouchard through a mutual friend.
Oh Honey began recording in Brooklyn, NY as a group in April 2013, releasing its first single in September 2013. The band is named after both the "Oh Honey" episode of How I Met Your Mother and the artisan, rooftop honey production movement in Brooklyn. Oh Honey's EP, With Love, was released independently in November 2013 and was well-reviewed.
The Lumineers are an American alternative folk band based in Denver, Colorado. The founding members are Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites. Schultz and Fraites began writing and performing together in Ramsey, New Jersey, in 2005. Cellist and vocalist Neyla Pekarek joined the band in 2010, and was a member until 2018. The Lumineers emerged as one of the most popular folk-rock/Americana artists during the revival of those genres, their popularity growing in the 2010s. The band's stripped back raw sound draws heavily from artists that influenced Schultz and Fraites such as Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan and Tom Petty. They are known for their energetic live shows and several international hit singles, including "Ho Hey", "Stubborn Love", "Ophelia", "Angela" and "Cleopatra". The band has become one of the top touring bands in the United States and is also popular in other countries.
New Hollow is an American rock band from New Albany, Ohio. The band is composed of Michael "Mookie" Clouse, Evan West & Chad Blashford.
New Hollow was founded by three students at New Albany High School (Ohio), who initially began playing together while still elementary school students under the name Monkee Hollow. The single, entitled "SiCK", was released November 1, 2010, and reached the Billboard Hot 100, where it peaked at number 86. The single sold over 28,000 physical copies in its first week, en route to selling 140,000 units by early 2011. The group signed an agreement with Justice, a girls' clothing store, to market their debut single, with that deal ending in April 2013.

Family of the Year is an American indie rock band based in Los Angeles, California. It consists of members Joseph Keefe (vocals/guitar), Sebastian Keefe (drums/vocals), James Buckey (guitar/vocals), and Christina Schroeter (keyboard/vocals). Their music uses melodic male/female vocal harmonies and folktale-style lyrics. They are best known for their 2012 song "Hero", which was featured in Richard Linklater's 2014 film Boyhood and became a top 10 hit in Austria, Belgium, Germany, and Switzerland.
Though Family of the Year is currently based in Los Angeles, California, brothers Joseph and Sebastian Keefe were born in Massachusetts, spent their teenage years in Wales, and eventually moved to Martha's Vineyard. James Buckey is from Jacksonville, Florida, while Christina Schroeter is from Orange County, California. Prior to forming Family of the Year, members Joseph Keefe and Sebastian Keefe enjoyed local Boston success in previous bands Unbusted and The Billionaires.

His second album Magazines or Novels was released in 2014, and featured "Honey, I'm Good" which is his most successful song to date, peaking at number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100. This single has been certified triple-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and was ranked one of the ten best-selling songs of 2015 by Nielsen SoundScan. Eurythmics were a British pop duo consisting of Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart. They were both previously in The Tourists, a band which broke up in 1980. The duo released their first studio album, In the Garden, in 1981 to little success, but went on to achieve global acclaim when their second album Sweet Dreams , was released in 1983. The title track became a worldwide hit, reaching No.2 in the UK Singles Chart and No. 6 in Australia, before hitting No. 1 in Canada and the US Billboard Hot 100. The duo went on to release a string of hit singles and albums, including "Love Is a Stranger", "There Must Be an Angel " and "Here Comes the Rain Again", before they split up in 1990.
Zachary David Sobiech was an American singer-songwriter and musician from Lakeland, Minnesota, who was a member of the band A Firm Handshake. The single "Clouds" gained extensive media attention on YouTube, prior to Sobiech's death from cancer in May 2013. It charted on the Billboard Hot 100, eventually becoming a hit also in the UK, Canada and France. His philosophy was that in his last days of life due to his cancer, he needed to make people happy.

Some other countries have already discontinued the OIRT band and have changed to the 87.5 to 108 MHz band.
