Zack Morris the cool trouble maker, A.C. Slater the kind-hearted jock, Screech Powers the smart and funny nerd, Kelly Kapowski the teen dream who is Zack Morris's obsession, Lisa Turtle the gossiping fashionista, and Jessie Spano the feminist straight-A student are classmates and friends involved in misadventures at Bayside High School.

A teenage genius deals with the usual problems of growing up: hanging out with his best friend, going to parties, finding his style, and finding and having a girlfriend--all on top of being a licensed physician in a difficult residency program.

Judge Harold T. Stone presides over "Night Court", a court which deals with petty crimes which can be dealt with in a dime-a-dozen manner. Invariably, the cases appearing before the court are bizarre, but that's ok because Judge Stone is not your regular judge. He's assisted by a motley crew of clerks and District Attorneys who often create as much chaos as the criminals they bring in for trial.

A group of gifted high school students are placed together into an "enrichment" class. Although brilliant, they have much to learn about each other and themselves.

Welcome to Weemawee High School, where being in the right clique can make one's years in school memorable. Enter Patty Greene and Lauren Hutchinson, two freshman who tried hard to be accepted into these cliques. The only problem was they stood out like sore thumbs. Patty was brainy and wore glasses, and Lauren was overweight and had braces. Thankfully, two other "square pegs" accepted them. Still, Lauren and Patty wanted to be in with the cool kids who came in the form of Jennifer DeNuccio, a wanna-be Valley Girl; LaDonna Fredericks, the hippest black girl in Weemawee High; Jennifer's boyfriend Vinnie Pasetta, a John Travolta carbon copy; and Muffy Tepperman, who joined anything from JV pep squad to science fair organizer.

Pete and Pete are two red-headed brothers living in the somewhat surreal town of Wellsville. Pete, the older of the two, narrates the stories about their adventures in everyday life. Barney Miller is the kind of cop we'd all like to run into. He is always sensible. He maintains order over a squad room of detectives who gamble for a hobby, get hit on by anything in skirts, go to renaissance philosophy conventions for fun, and would really prefer to be writing. Nearly all of the action takes place in the squad room where the citizens and criminals are brought in to complicate the mix.

As events unfold in her life, Clarissa explains to the viewer the motivations behind people's actions.

Herman Brooks is an aspiring writer working as a fact-checker at a publisher. While dealing with life in the big city, his inner thoughts are played out by four characters representing his intellect, fear, compassion, and lust. His "outer world" consists of a trivia-trove boss, two female co-workers, one mouse-ish and the other a social-climbing bombshell, and a best friend whose both a successful writer and a sexist pig.

Almost always the trio's schemes wind up getting them into trouble and it is up to Roger's mother to get them out of it. Also, half of the time, the boys get into trouble because of Roger's bratty sister Dee.

Frances "Gidget" Lawrence lives with her widowed college-professor father in Southern California. Anne is her older sister who is married to John Cooper, an obtuse but lovable psychology student. Gidget spends most of her free time hanging out with friends and surfing at the beach. She also has a knack for getting in and out of trouble. Gidget speaks to the audience during her journey to adulthood, letting them know exactly what's on her mind and what she's discovered about life. She also receives moral instruction from her father and gains wisdom from her experiences.

Reba McEntire stars as the titular character in this smash sitcom about a single mom of three, navigating life in a Houston suburb. Between co-parenting with hilarious dentist ex-husband Brock and his dotty new wife Barbra Jean (his dental hygienist) to helping her three wise-cracking, dynamic kids navigate their new life, Reba has her hands full. The Golden Girls is based on the lives and interactions of four older women who have all been divorced/widowed, and are now roommates. Dorothy's main goal during the series is to find a companion she can relate to while her mother Sophia adds her comical outlook and frequent "Picture This" stories. Rose's St. Olaf-ness makes her a little corny but lovable. One thing that changes nearly every episode is whom Blanche is courting.
