Stereo Skyline was an American pop rock band from East Meadow, New York, United States, which formed in 2006. They are best known for their song "Uptown, Get Around" first heard in The Suite Life Movie.

The group has played at The Bamboozle 2007, The Bamboozle Left 2009, The Bamboozle 2009, The 2010 Take Action Tour, The Bamboozle Roadshow 2010, released two EPs, and released their debut album Stuck On Repeat on July 20, 2010, on Columbia Records.

In 2006, Matt Villani left the Pop Punk group, Valet Parking to form a new band, called Stereo Skyline. Villani initially played piano and synth and sang lead vocals for the band. He recruited Jay Marotta and Anthony Purpura of his former band, Aerosol, to play guitar and bass, respectively, Dane Drozdzewicz to play drums, and Eddie Dizura of Suddenly October to play guitar.

The Cab is an American rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada. Their debut album, Whisper War, was released on April 29, 2008. They have been called "The Band You Need to Know 2008" by Alternative Press magazine. They were also featured in the '100 Bands You Need to Know in 2010' by the magazine and were one of the three bands featured on the cover page, along with Never Shout Never and Hey Monday. Their second album Symphony Soldier was released on August 23, 2011, with its first single "Bad" released to iTunes July 11, 2011, and announced by the band on July 18. The Cab funded the entire album by themselves and left their Fueled by Ramen/Decaydance label, self-releasing Symphony Soldier. AbsolutePunk gave an extremely positive review with a rating of 95%, calling the album a "masterpiece". The pre-orders in the band's webstore featured eleven packages, ranging from $10 to $9,999. Symphony Soldier is digitally available on iTunes, and only available as physical CDs from the band's webstore. The band's latest work, an EP titled Lock Me Up, was released on April 29, 2014. They have not released any new material since 2014, leaving the future of the band uncertain.

Swimming With Dolphins is an American electronica band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Austin Tofte and Owl City frontman Adam Young formed the band in 2008, later featuring vocals from Breanne Düren. The name of the band was derived, according to Tofte, from "some old Jacques Cousteau documentaries from the 80s". Though Young was never the front man or lead singer, he performed synths and programming for the act. He also served as the producer of the group.

For the act, Tofte and Young created trademark outfits. Tofte took on the appearance of a submariner wearing a classic scuba suit and Young donned a pilot's mask (which would later become Sky Sailing's trademark look).

The band made its debut with the release of their 2008 EP, Ambient Blue. In addition to the main release, the band also put out a cover version of Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car" as B-sides single to the EP. The song "Silhouettes", off the release, featured Breanne Düren, who then proceeded to join Owl City's live band shortly after being introduced to Young through Tofte. Later that same year, Tofte, along with Düren, provided Young with backing vocals for a few songs on his debut Owl City album, Maybe I'm Dreaming.

Crunkcore (also called crunk punk, screamo-crunk, and scrunk) is a fusion genre characterized by the combination of cultural and musical elements from crunk, screamo, pop, electronic and dance music. The genre often features screamed vocals, hip hop beats, and "sexually provocative" lyrics.

According to the Boston Phoenix, writer and musician Jessica Hopper claims that the influences for crunkcore can be traced back to 2005 when Panic! at the Disco mixed emo with electronics. While crunkcore is typically characterized by the use of screamed vocals, some crunkcore artists don't scream. For instance, Warped Tour co-creator and CEO Kevin Lyman calls the group 3OH!3 "the real tipping point for scrunk", and said that "though 3OH!3 doesn't incorporate the blood-curdling screams of many scrunk acts, they were the first emo-influenced act to depart from traditional instruments in favor of pre-programmed beats", while still retaining many of the stylistic elements of emo. The Millionaires, who do not use screamed vocals, are also crunkcore.

Artist vs. Poet was an American power pop band from Fort Worth, Texas, United States, formed in late 2007 by Jason Dean, Craig Calloway, Jeff Olsen, Patrick Rigden, Joe Kirkland, Joe Westbrook, and Tarcy Thomason. After many changes in the band, Artist vs Poet is made up of Joe Kirkland, on vocals, guitar and keyboards, and Jason Dean, on bass and drums. Kirkland was also a contestant in the third season of the American NBC reality show The Voice.

Dave Joyal is an American musician and current member of Shai Hulud. He uses and endorses SJC Custom Drums, Noble & Cooley Snare Drums, Paiste Cymbals, Evans Drumheads and Pro-Mark Drumsticks. He has filled in on occasion for RCA recording artists, Young And Divine in 2010 and The Static Age in 2009. Dave Joyal is also the ex-drummer for Secret Secret Dino Club, post-hardcore band Silent Drive, along with metalcore band Drowningman. Dave has developed an international following.

Forever the Sickest Kids is an American pop punk band from Dallas, Texas. The band first signed with Universal Motown Records and released its debut album, Underdog Alma Mater, on April 29, 2008. The band's second album, Forever the Sickest Kids, was released on March 1, 2011. Universal Motown Records was later shut down in 2011 and the band was left unsigned for over a year until signing to Fearless Records in late 2012. The band released its third studio album, J.A.C.K., on June 25, 2013. In an Alternative Press article, the band was placed number one underground band of the "22 Best Underground Bands".

Burnham (also known as The Burnham Brothers Band) is an American, Vermont-based pop band, made up of three brothers: Alex, Andre, and Forrest Burnham. They are signed to Island Records and EMI Music Publishing. They appeared as an opening act on the second leg of Justin Bieber's My World Tour in late 2010 and toured with Action Item on The Stronger the Love Tour in the fall of 2011 and The Catch Me If You Can Tour in 2012.

Burnham's song "Vacation" was entered in 2013 The John Lennon Songwriting Contest and finished in the top three in the Pop category. International Songwriting Competition 2013-Entered "Golden Hearts". Out of 19,000 entrants their song placed in the top 1 percent and has reached the finals. Final voting results to be announced in April 2014.

The Vans Warped Tour was a traveling rock tour that toured the United States (including three or four stops in Canada) annually each summer since 1995. It was the largest traveling music festival in the United States, and is the longest-running touring music festival in North America. Vans toured Australia in 1998-2002 and again in 2013. The first Warped Tour took place in 1995, and the skateboard shoe manufacturer Vans became the main sponsor of the tour starting with the second tour in 1996, when it became known as "The Vans Warped Tour". Although Vans continued to be the main sponsor and lent its name to the festival, other sponsors also participated with stages or other aspects of the festival sometimes being named after them.

Music and religious icons find their roots in Iberian culture and Amerindian sounds and flavors. Stephen Lewis Jerzak (born May 5, 1992) is an American alternative-pop musician, singer, and songwriter from La Crosse, Wisconsin. Some of his notable singles include "Cute" which gained popularity on social media networks in his early career, and "She Said", a record label release of a song that was done collaboratively with American actress and singer Leighton Meester.

Growing up in La Crosse, Wisconsin, Stephen began playing music as a preteen, teaching himself several instruments while tinkering around in his father's home studio. He joined his first band as lead singer and guitarist at age 12. The band "Under Age" consisted of classmates including his good friend and now producer, Joel Tock. During these early years, Stephen realized that being on stage and playing for large groups of people was something he was meant to do. At age 14, Stephen wrote and professionally recorded his first full-length album titled "Two Years Broken ", in which he released only a minimal number of physical copies and were mainly sold though his local record shops to his hometown following.

Sean Costello (April 16, 1979 – April 15, 2008) was an American blues musician, renowned for his fiery guitar playing and soulful singing. He released five critically acclaimed albums before his career was cut short by his sudden death at the age of 28. Tinsley Ellis called him ‘the most gifted young blues guitarist on the scene... he was a triple threat on guitar, vocals and as a songwriter’.

Costello mastered traditional blues guitar at an early age and began his career while still in high school. His records became increasingly eclectic as his career progressed.

Born in Philadelphia, Costello moved to Atlanta at the age of nine. Obsessive about the guitar from a young age, he got hooked on the blues after buying Howlin’ Wolf's 'Rockin' Chair Album'. At 14 the young prodigy created a stir in a Memphis guitar shop, where an employee tipped his father off about a talent contest sponsored by the Beale Street Blues Society, which Costello duly entered and won. He formed his first band shortly after.

Breathe Carolina is an American electronic music duo from Denver, Colorado, currently composed of David Schmitt and Tommy Cooperman. The band formed in 2007 and have released five albums, and nine EPs. Their latest studio album, Dead: The Album, was released in November 2019.

Kyle Even, born on September 21, 1985, and David Schmitt, born on March 26, 1988, spent their early years playing in various local Colorado musical groups. After being introduced to alternative rock by an older stepbrother, Even moved towards vocals as a teen. Even performed in the band Rivendale. They produced an extended play called Portrait of Shadows. Schmitt, on the other hand, started on bass at the age of 12 and then branched out to guitar, performing in Colorado with As the Flood Waters Rose (later named the Autobiography).

Metro Station was an American pop rock band that was formed in Los Angeles, California by singer Mason Musso and bassist/guitarist Trace Cyrus. In late 2006, the band signed a recording contract with Columbia Records and RED Ink Records. The band is best known for the top 10 Billboard hit single "Shake It" from the group's self-titled debut album. In 2010, tension between Cyrus and Musso caused the band to go on hiatus. In 2011, the band returned, however, it was announced that Cyrus was no longer a part of the group and Musso had purchased the rights to the name. An EP entitled Middle of the Night was released in 2013, which was led by the single "Every Time I Touch You". In 2014, Cyrus and a new drummer, Spencer Steffan, came to the band, and a new single entitled "Love & War" was released. In 2015, the band released a second full-length album, titled Savior. After this, the band went on a U.S and European tour, announcing an EP called Bury Me My Love along with a U.S. 10-year anniversary tour. Just before the tour started, the band announced it would be their final tour and that they were breaking up. They reunited once again in 2019 and released the single "I Hate Society" in 2020.

The White Tie Affair (also known as TWTA) is an American pop band from Chicago, Illinois, consisting of vocalist Chris Wallace, guitarist Sean-P, drummer Tim McLaughlin and keyboardist Ryan McLain. In early 2007, the band signed with Epic Records/Slightly Dangerous and released their debut album, Walk This Way, in April 2008. The album contains the band's two singles, "Allow Me to Introduce Myself...Mr. Right" and "Candle (Sick and Tired)", which have been featured on MTV's TRL and The Hills.

The band signed with Epic/Slightly Dangerous in 2007 and began touring with artists such as Secondhand Serenade, Making April, Innerpartysystem, Metro Station, The Medic Droid, and Kill Hannah. In June and July 2007, the band went on a cross-country US tour alongside Fireworks. In the fall of 2007, the band recorded their debut album, Walk This Way, at Annetenna Studios in Burbank, California. In January 2008, bass player Jeremy Johnson left the band and was replaced by Ryan Cook, who later also left the band in February 2009.

Rediscovered is the fifth studio album by English-Norwegian pop group A1. The album was released on 2 November 2012 in Norway, exclusively through daWorks Records. Two singles have thus far been released from the album: "Just Three Words", featuring singer Annie Khalid, which was released as a promotional single in April 2012, and the album's official lead single, "Trust Me", released on 5 October 2012. The album debuted at number 17 in Norway, becoming their lowest-charting album in their career. "Christopher Columbus" was released as the album's third single in April 2013. "That Somebody Is Me" has been released as a free track on 17 October 2014, during the Big Reunion Tour. This is the last album as a trio before original member Paul Marazzi returned to the group nearly six years later.
