Faith Healer is a Canadian indie rock band from Edmonton, Alberta, whose core member is singer and songwriter Jessica Jalbert. Another long-time member is singer-songwriter, producer and recording engineer Renny Wilson.

Jalbert first collaborated with Wilson on her solo debut album Brother Loyola in 2011, before deciding to adopt the band name Faith Healer as she did not want her music to be pigeonholed as singer-songwriter pop.

The band's debut album Cosmic Troubles was released March 31, 2015 on Mint Records. The album was met with positive reviews from Pitchfork and Exclaim!. Wilson played several instruments on the album and created a number of the arrangements.

Jalbert and Wilson recorded their second album, Try ;-), in Montreal. It was released in September 2017. The pair added Jenni Roberts and Mitch Holtby to create a complete band; the group performed at the 2017 Pop Montreal Festival. The album was longlisted for the 2018 Polaris Music Prize.

Magnus Birgersson, better known by his stage name Solar Fields, is a Swedish electronic music artist. As of 2014, he has released fifteen albums, and has also scored all interactive in-game music for the Electronic Arts game Mirror's Edge as well as its reboot sequel, Mirror's Edge Catalyst. His latest album, Formations, was released on November 4, 2022.

Gothenburg-based Swedish composer, sound designer, and multi-instrumentalist Magnus Birgersson created Solar Fields in the late 1990s.

Birgersson was raised in a musical family and began playing piano and synthesizers in the 1970s. In the mid-1980s he began combining synthesizers with computers. In addition to his ambient work, he has also been a guitar player in rock bands, a pianist in jazz funk bands, and keyboard player in drum and bass bands."

Aes Dana is a French Celtic/black metal band, based in Paris, France. The name of the band is Old Irish for "people of the arts".

The band mix black metal features like growling vocals or heavy guitar sound with traditional Celtic instruments like Irish flute or bombard. These characteristics, coming from the various influences of the band's early members (death metal, black metal, grindcore, but also folk music), give a very particular touch to their music .

Their lyrics (in French in their last albums) often deal with Celtic mythology.

Aes Dana was formed in 1994, with Taliesin (guitar) and Amorgen (Irish flute), soon joined by Vidar (vocals), Storm (drums), and Christophe (bass). Their first demo, Chroniques du crépuscule, was considered by the band as being atmospheric black metal.

Ott (born 1968) is a British record producer and musician who has worked with Sinéad O'Connor, Embrace, the Orb, and Brian Eno, and has achieved recognition since 2002 for his own psychedelic dub tracks and his collaborations with Simon Posford (Hallucinogen / Shpongle). He has released two albums on Twisted Records: Blumenkraft (2003), Skylon (2008), and three albums on Ottsonic: Mir (2011), Fairchildren (2015) and Heads (2022). His stage name is a reference to ethnobotanist Jonathan Ott who coined the term "entheogen".

Since the early 2000s, Ott has produced, mixed and recorded music released on Twisted Records, including various collaborations with founder Simon Posford. His first major contribution to Twisted was the record Hallucinogen – In Dub, on which he remixed six classic Hallucinogen songs. In May 2003 he released his own album, Blumenkraft, on Twisted; it was reviewed by The Wire. His work has also been featured in releases from the record label Liquid Sound Design (now known as Liquid Sound, run by Martin Glover), especially those compilations produced by Humphrey Bacchus during his time at the label. He followed up his debut album in January 2008 with Skylon, followed by Mir in March 2011.

Antonio Roybal (born October 1, 1976) is an American fine-art painter and sculptor from Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Antonio is the son of David and Aggie Roybal, born in Santa Fe but raised in Southern California. He lived in San Diego during the earliest years of his childhood. He has three sisters. One of his sisters is also a painter, and two of his sisters are completely deaf. His Northern New Mexican ancestry can be traced back eleven generations. His father is a mathematician and computer scientist who has worked on many weapons projects at laboratories including White Sands Missile Range and Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Roybal studied fine art at The Colorado Institute of Art. He apprenticed with French artist Jean-Claude Gaugy and lived and studied with Austrian artist Ernst Fuchs. His debut show was in Payerbach, Austria in 2000.

Younger Brother is an electronic duo formed in 2003 by Simon Posford and Benji Vaughan. Their debut album A Flock of Bleeps was released in 2003, followed by The Last Days of Gravity in 2007 and Vaccine in 2011.

Bjørn Arild Lynne (born December 31, 1966) is a Norwegian sound engineer and music composer, now living and working in Stavern, Norway. He was also known as a tracker music composer under the name "Dr. Awesome" in the demoscene in the 1980s and 1990s when he released tunes in MOD format and made music for Amiga games.

In 1995 he moved to England and composed for Team17. He recorded albums in England, including the Timura trilogy, inspired by the books of Allan Cole. In 2005 he returned to Norway and started a music publishing company, Lynne Publishing AS and a royalty-free music / stock music service, Shockwave-Sound

He composed soundtracks for the games Worms and Seven Kingdoms, and for solo albums of fantasy and trance music. His tunes have also been used in television and film.

Ultimae Records is a Lyon-based record label founded by Aes Dana and Sandrine Gryson in 1999. They release and distribute various forms of ambient and trance music.

Dónal O'Connor is an Irish multi-instrumentalist, producer and television presenter from Ravensdale, County Louth, Ireland. He is a member of Belfast-based Irish traditional groups Ulaid & At First Light.

O'Connor was born into an Irish-speaking household. His father is fiddler Gerry O'Connor and his mother was singer and flute player Eithne Ní Uallacháin (d. 1999). His maternal grandparents were Pádraig Ó hUallacháin, a teacher, writer and song collector, and Eithne bean Uí Uallacháin. His paternal grandmother was fiddler and fiddle teacher Rose O'Connor. O'Connor is also the nephew of singers Pádraigín Ní Uallacháin and Len Graham.

O'Connor's first recorded fiddle work appeared on Brighid's Kiss in 1996, an album by Lá Lugh, his parents' group. That year, the album was voted Album of the Year by Irish Music Magazine readers.

The 1957 Encyclopédie Larousse defines a cell in music as a "small rhythmic and melodic design that can be isolated, or can make up one part of a thematic context". The cell may be distinguished from the figure or motif: the 1958 Encyclopédie Fasquelle defines a cell as "the smallest indivisible unit", unlike the motif, which may be divisible into more than one cell. "A cell can be developed, independent of its context, as a melodic fragment, it can be used as a developmental motif. It can be the source for the whole structure of the work; in that case it is called a generative cell."

A rhythmic cell is a cell without melodic connotations. It may be entirely percussive or applied to different melodic segments.

Vibrasphere was a progressive trance music trio from Uppsala, Sweden and Brussels,Belgium Its founding members were Rickard Berglöf, Robert Elster and Pierre Baekelmans.

Rickard was previously a member of early Goa group Subcouds and at around the same time Robert had started musical production on an Amiga. After meeting through Rickard's younger cousin, and a friend in Brussels, the pair decided to start studio recordings in June 1998 with the creation of Vibrasphere.

Robert decided to quit the group half a year after the release of their second album, Lime Structure, due to constant touring. He was temporarily replaced by Pierre Baekelmans and together with Rickard they continued both touring and studio recording. In 2005 Robert decided to rejoin the group, leaving Rickard still in charge of touring duties, Pierre Baekelmans decided to leave the band in 2009 to record and tour alone as Pitsnake.

Shulman is a psybient group from Israel, with members Yaniv Shulman and Omri Harpaz. Shulman's sound features elements of "glitch" and displays a large IDM influence. Shulman is also a remix artist within the psybient genre.

The duo has toured many psytrance venues and festivals, visiting a number of countries including Bulgaria, Mexico, Portugal, and Kenya.

Shulman is frequently featured on the popular internet radio station, Digitally Imported. On February 20, 2006, at 11:00 AM CST, the Digitally Imported chillout channel streamed Random Thoughts, Shulman's third studio release, for the entire internet community to hear.

According to the website, Yaniv Shulman, the duo frontman, is a chillout artist from Israel, who studied computer science. Known for his participation in and founding of the music group, Yaniv Shulman is also cofounder of Aleph Zero Records.

Celtic Cross was a musical collaboration of Simon Posford (Hallucinogen, Shpongle), Martin Glover (bassist from Killing Joke) and Saul Davies (violinist from James). The style of music could be described as psychedelic rock, ambient and dub music with ethnic influences. The cover of the Hicksville album was designed by Mark Neal, the same artist who worked on Posford's Twisted and The Lone Deranger, as well as the Shpongle albums.

Asura is a 2015 Telugu language film, the first directed by Krishna Vijay. It was produced by Shyam Devabhaktuni and Krishna Vijay, and stars Nara Rohit and Priya Banerjee. It received a positive reception and was declared a box office hit.

The Saafi Brothers are a downtempo music project from Germany, consisting of Gabriel Le Mar and Michael Kohlbecker. They also produce psychedelic trance, dub and ambient music.
