Percy is confused. When he awoke from his long sleep, he didn't know much more than his name. His brain fuzz is lingering, even after the wolf Lupa told him he is a demigod and trained him to fight with the pen/sword in his pocket. Somehow Percy manages to make it to a camp for half-bloods, despite the fact that he has to keep killing monsters along the way. But the camp doesn't ring any bells with him. The only thing he can recall from his past is another name: Annabeth. Hazel is supposed to be dead. When she lived before, she didn't do a very good job of it. Sure, she was an obedient daughter, even when her mother was possessed by greed. But that was the problem—when the Voice took over her mother and commanded Hazel to use her "gift" for an evil purpose, Hazel couldn't say no. Now because of her mistake, the future of the world is at risk. Hazel wishes she could ride away from it all on the stallion that appears in her dreams. Frank is a klutz. His grandmother says he is descended from heroes and can be anything he wants to be, but he doesn't see it. He doesn't even know who his father is. He keeps hoping Apollo will claim him, because the only thing he is good at is archery—although not good enough to win camp war games. The Kane Chronicles is a trilogy of adventure and Egyptian mythological fiction books written by American author Rick Riordan. The series is set in the same universe as Riordan's other franchises, Camp Half-Blood Chronicles and Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard.

The Ultimate Guide is a good book for Percy Jackson fans, but you can get a little bored of it. It's packed with information about Percy, Annabeth, Grover, and even monsters he fought! I liked that you could take a quiz about who your god parent would be, but I didn't like that the Ultimate Guide has a whole section about Percy's "background". It took up a lot of the book, and most of that information is in the first book. On the positive side, I really like the pictures in the book, and I like the section about all of the gods and goddesses. My favorite is the section about life at camp. There is a double page picturing Camp Half-Blood and on the next page, Percy's camp schedule. It's kind of cool to see what life at camp half blood would be like. It also has a great front cover. I saw it in the book store and was immediately drawn to the shiny holographic cover. It opens up with a magnetic clip thingy which also made it look cool. The Ultimate Guide is great if you are a Percy Jackson fan that wants to learn a little bit more about Percy Jackson and his life.

(&amp; not just my favourite in books, but movies &amp; tv shows too)When fantasy elements bind in reality; we know a boring damn world (reality) &amp; then... magic came! or myths or travel between universes. I live in that world (as a reader lives a thousands of lives) &amp; I feel happy.also familiar sense in other way like I know places &amp; cities (I mean in almost all high fantasy stories I'm just confused with the strange names &amp; wondering where they were.)&amp; even heroes have been shocked when they actually entered their fantasy world. (so they know that world with me &amp; I can relate with their surprise, feelings, fears, etc)so it made very easy to believe they can be real, somewhere, somehow, in a corner of this world magic exists (Harry Potter), you can travel to parallel universes (Pendragon) or mythology lives among us.
