The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (original French title: Le Scaphandre et le Papillon) is a memoir by journalist Jean-Dominique Bauby. It describes what his life is like after suffering a massive stroke that left him with locked-in syndrome. It also details what his life was like before the stroke.
The French edition of the book was published on March 7, 1997. It received excellent reviews, sold the first 25,000 copies on the day of publication, reaching 150,000 in a week. It went on to become a number one bestseller across Europe. Its total sales are now in the millions. 
On December 8, 1995, Bauby, the editor-in-chief of French Elle magazine, suffered a stroke and lapsed into a coma. He awoke 20 days later, mentally aware of his surroundings, but physically paralyzed with what is known as locked-in syndrome, with the only exception of some movement in his head and eyes. His right eye had to be sewn up due to an irrigation problem. The entire book was written by Bauby blinking his left eyelid, which took ten months (four hours a day). Using partner assisted scanning, a transcriber repeatedly recited a French language frequency-ordered alphabet (E, S, A, R, I, N, T, U, L, etc.), until Bauby blinked to choose the next letter. The book took about 200,000 blinks to write and an average word took approximately two minutes. The book also chronicles everyday events for a person with locked-in syndrome. These events include playing at the beach with his family, getting a bath, and meeting visitors while in hospital at Berck-sur-Mer. On March 9, 1997, two days after the book was published, Bauby died of pneumonia.

John Constantine, Hellblazer is an American contemporary horror comic book series published by DC Comics since January 1988, and subsequently by its Vertigo imprint since March 1993 when the imprint was introduced. E mesmo tendo esse cuidado na mente tenho que dizer que este é um dos piores livros que já li na vida. Terminei, sim, mas nesse caso tenho que dizer que não foi mérito nenhum. O livro é pequeno.Faço a minha "mea culpa", li o livro em apnéia. Mas ainda sim tenho problemas para situar o livro numa realidade. Ele parece ser uma colagem de vários tempos, e o tempo é uma das minhas maiores críticas. Não há uma progressão fácil de se pegar tudo parece atropelado, sem que os saltos pelos eventos importantes tenham uma cadência marcada, nem que as ideias a e os sentimentos dos personagens se desenvolvam, tudo parece ser instantâneo. Não há simpatia pelos personagens, eles parecem forçados e em alguns momentos, uma cartilha governamental para entender o universo gay, nada menos natural. Aliás natural é um adjetivo pouco usado nesse livro.

The King of Fighters '98 (KOF '98, subtitled Dream Match Never Ends in Japan and The Slugfest in the U.S.) is a fighting game released by SNK for the Neo Geo arcade and home consoles in 1998. It is the fifth game in The King of Fighters series. It was advertised by SNK as a "special edition" of the series, as it featured most of the characters who appeared in the previous games (from KOF '94 to '97).

Dungeon Siege III is an action role-playing game developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Square Enix for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows in 2011.
The game is set in the pseudo-medieval kingdom of Ehb, 150 years after the events of Dungeon Siege. It follows descendants of survivors of the 10th Legion, the military force featured in Dungeon Siege, in an attempt to rebuild the legion and defeat the evil Jeyne Kassynder, who 30 years before the game's events has wiped out nearly all of the Legion and established herself as ruler of Ehb. The player can choose one of four characters, two of which are descendants of the player character in Dungeon Siege and one who is a descendant of one of her companions, with the other three either controlled by the computer or another player using multiplayer features.
