Donnie and Joe Emerson are an American vocal and instrumental duo consisting of brothers Donnie Emerson and Joe Emerson.
Living on a family farm in rural Fruitland, Washington, in the late 1970s, the brothers' father, Don Emerson Sr., encouraged his teenage sons' musical interest as they began writing and playing their own music. Don Sr. built his sons a state-of-the-art $100,000 recording studio and in it they self-produced and self-released their first album "Dreamin' Wild" in 1979, an eclectic mix of rock, soul, R&B, country and funk music, on their own Enterprise & Co. label.The record had no commercial success until 2008 when record collector Jack Fleischer discovered the record in an antique shop in Spokane, Washington. Fleisher began to evangelize it. In July 2012 Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti covered the song "Baby" and in the same year Light in the Attic Records re-released "Dreamin' Wild" with "Baby" becoming an underground hit.

Steven Ellison (born October 7, 1983), known by his stage name Flying Lotus or sometimes FlyLo, is an American record producer, DJ and rapper from Los Angeles. He is also the founder of the record label Brainfeeder.Flying Lotus has released seven studio albums‍—‌1983 (2006), Los Angeles (2008), Cosmogramma (2010), Until the Quiet Comes (2012), You're Dead! (2014), Flamagra (2019) and Yasuke (2021)‍—‌to critical acclaim. He has produced much of the bumper music on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim programming block. He also contributed remixes for fellow Plug Research artists including Mia Doi Todd.In 2012, Flying Lotus began rapping under the persona Captain Murphy, based on the Sealab 2021 character of the same name. Ellison kept this fact a secret for several months, finally revealing his identity several weeks after the release of his first rap mixtape: Duality (2012).

ASAP Mob (stylized as A$AP Mob, ASAP being an acronym for "Always Strive And Prosper") is an American hip hop collective formed in 2006 in Harlem, New York, that consists of New York-based rappers (most of whom carry the "ASAP" moniker), record producers, music video directors and fashion designers.On August 28, 2012, the collective released the mixtape Lords Never Worry. They released the single "Trillmatic" in December 2013, followed by their debut studio album, Cozy Tapes Vol. 1: Friends, in October 2016.In 2006, Steven Rodriguez, professionally known as A$AP Yams, formed the collective with fellow New Yorkers A$AP Bari, A$AP Kham, and A$AP Illz. Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky joined later. In the summer of 2011, the group released music videos for Rocky's singles "Peso" and "Purple Swag," produced by A$AP Ty Beats. Rocky followed up with his mixtape Live.Love.A$AP in October, signing a record deal with Sony Music Entertainment that month.

In 2019, he released a single "Shopping Spree" featuring Lil Pump and Sheck Wes. .

Scott's musical style has been described as a fusion of traditional rap, hip hop, lo-fi and ambient. His stage name is the namesake of a favorite uncle combined with the first name of one of his inspirations, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major-label contract with Epic Records.
